You will have noticed that there is a ...
Speed Up Ball
& a ...
Slow Down Ball!
These are FATAL to your Consecutive Bonus!
(If used at the right time, they can be GREAT!)
I only ever use the Speedy Ball at the ENDof the round, when they're all made & I only have 4 or 5 plushies to get off the Conveyor Belt,
this gives more points for time but doesn't break up Consecutive Bonus!
I only ever use the Slow Down Ball at the BEGINNINGof the round to try to build up the plushies,
keeping them together & maybe fill needed barells for my Consecutive Bonus to keep going.
(this REALLY helps)
The first thing to remember with FF is that you get higher scores when you keep your Consecutive Bonus going & NOT breaking it up
(you can get up to 100 or more each round by keeping your plushies running without a break)
more in later rounds
(but it is harder because they want 3 of the same colour wich empties your barells).
When I start my first round I try to fill the 2 barells that AREN'T needed yet, I will only drop a 1/2 sized ball into the wanted barell, e.g.:
If my first plushie to make is blue, I fill red & yellow before I will even start to make the plushies.
eg:

Notice this round (1st round) I have maximum Consecutive Bonus 55:
