(Say I'm CUTE!)

LinZ entered my picture in the Beauty Contest for the week of August 15th, 2008.

My Adventuressize>

LinZ likes me very much and plans to keep me forever more. But before I came here I had another amazing owner named Chrissa. She created me, gave me my wonderful petpet, Eclipse, and painted me into the faerie beauty that I am now.

Chrissa took the time to document my journey with screenies and when she chose LinZ to be my new owner she gladly shared the pictures and my story. (Chrissa is a talented author and wrote about one of my early adventures!)

Enjoy!

Khrystalyine's Talesize>
Written by: Chrissa

Khrystalyine was bored. It was a rainy day in her part of Meridell, and she was stuck inside.

There's nothing to do!" she complained, nudging her sleeping brother, Chaosticide. He grumbled and rolled over, leaving Khrystalyine pouting and staring out the -blocked-

I wish the rain would stop," she thought, "Then I could go outside and play with my friends. Oh well, I guess I'll have to settle for playing inside." She gazed around the tiny room, her frown getting deeper as she realized that all their toys were boring or broken.

Hmmm, I guess I'll have to make my own toys. I'm sure Chrissa won't mind."

The mischievous Faerie Ixi snuck a glance at the door, then at her brother who was snoring by that time, and started piling toys and anything else she could find in the middle of the room. With a pile big enough to hide a Skeith in, she started building.

Wow, I wonder what would happen if I put a Tatty Pencil in this Headless Von Roo doll? Then I can superglue it to this kite, and it can be a mighty pencil battleship warrior ghost! Or it's just a boring plushie, a pencil, and a kite. That's boring." She tossed the Pencil Von Kite Plushie aside and once again started digging through the mountain of items. She tossed aside some broken crayons and a Ripped Chia Plushie. A Broken Yo-yo soon followed into the corner. She scattered around more toys until she finally found something that looked less boring than the others.

Aha!" she exclaimed, "This can be fun!" She pulled out a Blue Ixi Plushie and began to play with it.

This toy is like, SO boring!" she sneered. She stared at the toy for a moment, before forming an idea.

Maybe I should try dressing it in Usuki clothes!" Knowing full-well that she shouldn't be in Chrissa's room, let alone her Usuki collection, Khrystalyine tiptoed down the hallway into the forbidden zone. Her eyes fell immediately on all the rare and beautiful Usukis that her owner had collected for years.

Wow, those are really neat," she thought, "I'm sure nobody will mind if I play in here today. After all, it's raining outside." She stood at the foot of a wall of display shelves, picking out the Usuki she thought would be the most fun.

That one!" she squealed, clapping a hand to her mouth as soon as she remembered her brother only a few rooms away. She had set her sights on the rare Alien Usuki at the very top of the shelves, Chrissa's most valuable Usuki doll. Khrystalyine placed one hoof on the bottom shelf, determined to climb to the top. She pulled herself up and started for the next shelf. Four shelves from the top, she stopped long enough to look around the room, thrilled by how high she was. At that second, the board splintered and broke, causing Khrystalyine and around 20 Usuki dolls and items to tumble to the ground.

Ouch!" she hollered, "That hurt! Oh no, Chrissa is going to kill me for this." It was at that very moment that she realized she was a Faerie Ixi. Meaning she had wings, and could have flown to the top of the shelves to save all that trouble.

I am so stupid. Chrissa is going to kill me. She'll probably turn me back into a Yellow Ixi, or worse: Mutant." She scooted next to the wall and put her head in her hooves.

She must have fallen asleep, because the next thing she knew, she was awoken by a very, very, very angry-looking owner.

Khrystalyine, may I ask just what you were doing?" Chrissa said sternly.

Well…" the poor Ixi began, "It all started out this morning when it was raining." Chrissa rolled her eyes, glancing from the trembling Ixi to her ruined collection.

Chrissa, I'm really sorry." Khrystalyine whined. Chrissa smiled half-heartedly.

I know you're sorry, little one, but you knew better than to go into my room. That's been a rule in this home for a long time now, especially since my Usuki collection was started." She picked up a Usuki from the ground.

See? These break very easily. Help me pick them up and set them against the wall." The two worked side-by-side, unspeaking, until all the dolls were straightened and set against the wall.

Khrystalyine, you know I was upset with you when I walked in to this mess earlier, right?" Khrystalyine looked down at the floor, nodding. Chrissa continued.

I hope you also know that I'm not mad anymore. Nothing was damaged too badly, and you look like you've learned your lesson. Go wake up your brother and come into the kitchen, please." Khrystalyine hugged her owner and friend, and then skipped down the hall calling her brother's name. In no time at all, a happy Ixi and sleepy Yurble were seated on the couch in the living room. Chrissa smiled at both of them gently.

Since you two were so good today, for the most part," Chrissa looked at a blushing Khrystalyine, "I've decided to take both of you to Mystery Island with me tomorrow, but only if you can behave." Chaosticide smiled and yawned, while Khrystalyine jumped out of her seat.

Really? Oh, I promise I'll be good! I can't wait!" Her eyes lit up with all the possibilities of a new trip.

We can go swimming, and take a tour of the Island, and visit the Cooking Pot and the Training School, and I'm going to get my fortune told by the Island Mystic! What about you, Brother?" Chaosticide turned towards her.

I'm going to eat the tropical food, then fall asleep on the beach in the sun." Chaosticide patted his tummy and yawned.

Khrystalyine sighed. Her brother was so lazy!

We can play Beach Volleyball, and run around the harbor! I bet we can even go browse the Island Market. Oh, Chrissa, can we please go to the Lost City of Geraptiku, too?" Chrissa laughed and shrugged.

We'll see, little one. But remember, you must behave; otherwise we'll come straight home. Understand?" The Ixi nodded her head, smiling, and poked her brother in the tummy.

You understand too, Chaosticide?" He looked at her grumpily before nodding and asking if he could go back to sleep. Chrissa nodded and he stumbled back to his room to sleep the night away. Khrystalyine gazed down the hallway for a few moments after her brother went to bed, and then sheepishly looked at Chrissa.

Chrissa? Can I ask you a question?" Chrissa patted her lap and the young Ixi plopped down.

Of course, you can ask me anything." Chrissa smiled at her beautiful pet, who smiled back before looking to the ground.

Are you still mad at me?" Khrystalyine looked into Chrissa's eyes, making her heart break.

No Khrystalyine, I'm not mad at you anymore. I can't ever stay mad at my little one very long." Chrissa hugged her gently. "You've got too big of a place in my heart for me to ever stay mad at you." Khrystalyine smiled impishly.

So I guess this means there's no way you'll be able to be mad enough to take me home tomorrow if I get in trouble on Mystery Island, right?

~The End~
