Long time since an update, huh? My 'about me' section is almost completed, as well as that there's a new picture Zen drew of me in the art section and at long last--a icon to link back!

Yay, I have a petpage now, and it's all cool and digital too. There's not much now but more will be added soon, so check back some other time.

The increasing sound of techno music can be heard as you walk down an abandoned dormitory hallway. Pressing your ear slowly against the door that the music can be heard from, you also hear the slight sound of someone typing on a keyboard. As you slowly creak the door open and peer inside, a Buzz sits at the computer, with wings of dark green and neon green outline, squares of neon green fading and reappearing in different places of the wings; it's too strange to be natural. She turns the music volume down, and spins around in her chair to face you. Hi there, so what user are you? she asks, getting a closer look at her visitor. ...guest I see. Welcome to my netspace, guest. So you are probably wondering what I'm doing, well, I'm on Sloth's database to make sure he isn't up to any of his old tricks. So far we've got just the usual Take Over The World Using Mutants plot but really--what's new? Well, since you're here I guess I should introduce myself. I am Kerrisay--call me Risa for short.

You might notice that I'm...different from most others. Well to tell you the truth I'm not really from this world, but rather one within a simulator, known as A l t r i o n. I had a rather happy life back home; I worked as an assistant in a research facility bent on understanding existence of our world and how it came to be. We had been working on creating a portal to another world and began finishing the final stages of it's development. However upon completion, a fellow assistant acted out of line. He claimed that we were nothing more than data to the beings beyond that portal and said that he was going to 'set things right' there. Us being data; what was he talking about? Nonetheless, he dove into the portal to a world unknown. But before I could do so myself, the head scientist warned me that I might never be able to return. I cared not though and dove in with Glitch, my dear petpet. We both ended up in the new world with the assistant nowhere in sight.
It was a strange alien world to me. I had ended up in a cold, isolated place--obviously some sort of alley. As I stood up, my communication device went off, the head scientist appeared on screen and began to speak to me through the device. Risa, something terrible has happened. she addressed me, The machine malfunctioned for some reason and...what happened to your wings?
Puzzled, I ran over to a broken mirror that was nearby only to find out that my wings had changed completely. They had become dark green with neon green squares that faded and reappeared slowly in different places. The ends we're fragmented off as well, with a small green square floating detached from the ends. Not only that but my tail had changed to that color scheme too, though not fragmented like my wings were.
I gasped in shock upon finding this out and asked my mentor How did this happen?
She began to explain, The malfunction with how the machine works caused this, I'm afraid. It breaks the target up into data and sends them through the portal, then reassembles them on the other side. When the machine had malfunctioned your wings and tail had not been completely written so to say. Unfortunately the data was lost...but I'm glad to see that you're okay at least.
It's not too big of a deal. I replied, What's important is finding my fellow assistant and bringing him back if possible. Is there any way to return home?
Your only chance is to create a machine identical to ours. It will take a lot of work but I know you can do it Risa; you helped build ours. And you have to find that assistant to; I fear that he might cause trouble in this new world. she answered.
I guess that is the only way. Perhaps the people in this world will be of help... I ended the message and turned to start my search with Glitch by my side, into the known.

Though she is still shy around strangers and prefers to spend most of her time at her forest spring, Syrvali can be a rather good friend over time. I'm still puzzled about what this magic she tells me of is though? Is it some sort of code or something?

This betrayed soul is Vakomar. His own hero, the one he looked up to decieved him and took away everything he had loved. He seeks to get revenge out on this 'Heldra' guy, despite the odds. Still, he is friendly around us because he considers us family, but still wary of others. It is with good reason though.

Yet another Buzz in the family, this poor guy was shunned for having the dangerous power of electricity. He never hurt anyone but people hate him nonetheless so he's forced to live in solitude. Sometimes, I'll drop by his area and visit; I feel sorry for the guy. So in this world, there are victoms of society too...

This is my Rashpid, Glitch. He was a prototype that the lab had created as a debugger. Made to get rid of anomalies by entering computers to eat the viruses and bad data. However he did not work out as planned, being unable to enter any computer in general, so I took him in. He's been my faithful companion ever since then and follows me virtually everywhere I go. But he can be a handful at times, seeing as he wants to take a bite out of every new thing he sees. |
