.Intro.

You were walking along the dark streets of Neopian Central at around, eight o'clock pm. It was a rather cold and windy night and yet you were still out. You stopped, and looked up at the stars. It was beautiful. Suddenly, a streak of pink and blue, shot by your head, followed by a scream. You run to the direction of the scream and find yourself standing by a striped Shoyru.
Ugg... ouch... the Shoyru moans.
Are you alright? You ask.
The Shoyru blinks, shakes her head and looks up at you wearily.
Erm... Yup! Just a crash landing. By the way, I'm Kelmidli, Kem for short. The Shoyru says, standing up and rubbing her feathery wing.
Well, I really should be going. You stutter, turning around.
Oh, come and stay with me. I'll tell you about myself, then you can go home. Kelmidli says, grabbing your shoulder.
Before you could answer, you hear a 'poof' sound and you find yourself standing on a pink cloud. It floats up into the sky, so high that it seems as if you can touch the stars.
Welcome to my cloud, or humblist hangout! Kem says, sitting down next to you.

You finish reading about Kelmidli's family, you look up to see Kelmidli talking to a teenage girl, who is sitting on a small white cloud.
Oh! guest! You are finished already! Okay, well this is my owner, Fluff! Kelmidli says, pointing at the girl on the cloud.

.Story.

Kem takes a striped book from the cloud and holds it gently.
This book holds my past. You are lucky to actually get to hear it, I'll read it to you. Kem says, opening the book.

Well, I was born at Mystery Island, around the Techo Mountian area...

Chapter One
I was sitting in my egg when I felt something pick me up. About a half an hour later I was put down. There was a snap of leathery wings, then the something tried to break my egg. I gasped when a claw sliced through my eggshell. My egg broke in half and I toppled out to see a rather large Mutant Shoyru peering down at me. I turned around to see a Mutant Korbat. The two started to fight over their dinner; me. Then, before the Mutants took a bite out of me, a large net scooped me up, into the trees. The Mutants got mad and flew off, leaving me at peace, for a moment. I looked up seeing a male human. He stuffed me into a sack and tossed me onto something hard.

Chapter Two
I opened my eyes to see black. I stretched my sore wings, which opened the sack. I stuck my head out to see my self on a ship, the male human was there too. We were almost at land, about ten male humans were at the dock. I read the sign, it said 'Neopian Central'. I quietly slipped out of the sack and waited til' the ship stopped to get off. When it stopped, I ran as fast as I could off of the ship. As I ran, I knocked into a female human. She looked at me with sad eyes. Then I felt a pair of hands grab me. I wriggled and squirmed as I flapped my wings. The hands dropped me and I flew. I flew for my life. My throat dry as ever, I felt hotter than ever. I stopped by The Rainbow Pool. Alot of neopets and humans were there. I walked over to see what everyone was doing. A small, blue Acara jumped into the water, and came out yellow. I walked over, not feeling worried that a neopet just changed color by the water, and took a sip. The water tasted horrible! I spat it out and some humans yelled at me. I flew away from there.

Chapter Three
I flew over to the Adoption Center, feeling tired and queasy. I watched as some humans went in with pets and came out without them. Some humans went in without pets and came out with some. I walked through the automatic doors to feel the airconditioning blowing on me. I sighed and walked around the place. There was a skylight on the celing, a glass counter, a place where many different color chairs were and a wall with a large cardboard egg on it. I walked over to the area where the egg was. There were glass cages with perches, bean bag chairs and food dishes. I was most amased with how many shoyrus were in a cage. I pressed my face againsted the glass and looked in. A small green shoyru walked up to the glass and waved at me and mouthed 'Hi'. I waved back, then felt a pair of hands pick me up and put me in the cage. The green shoyru took my paw and led me over to a bean bag chair. I sat in it and fell asleep.

Chapter Four
I awoke to find the green shoyru and five other shoyru's peering at me. One of the five shoyrus poked me then laughed. The green one poked me aswell and soon they all poked me. I jumped up and flew over to a window and looked at it, knowing that there was a way to get out. I glared at the green shoyru and it's friends. I then started looked down from the high window. The glass didn't go to the celing. I studied it for a moment, then jumped and flapped my wings for dear life. I fluttered to the ground, noticing I was out. I turned around to see the other shoyrus gaping at me. As I walked out of the area where the egg was, I bumped into the girl again. 'Well aren't you cute, all blue... I'll take you!' she said, lifting me up. She took me over to the counter and set me there. As she filled out some forms I watched her. I felt a loving for a home. So I became part of Fluff's family and was named Kelmidli!

Chapter Five
It was about a year after I came to Fluff's family...
I sat by the Rainbow Pool and sighed as I watched all of the pets get painted. They were all so lucky. I watched as someone dipped their pink painbrush into the water. I walked up to the pink water, transfixed by the color. 'Hey! Don't touch the water!' someone screamed. I looked up to see the person who dipped the pink paint brush in. I nodded, then continued to look at the water. The pink water shone up on my face. 'Can somebody get this shoyru away from my paint!' the person yelled. Someone grabbed my arm. I struggled free, but I fell. I fell into the Rainbow Pool. I sank to the bottom and thought about what Fluff would say, me coming home pink! I quickly got out of the water. 'S-sorry!' I yelled as I ran to a shop. I quickly flew into the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror. I was pink, but at the tip of my horn and paws was still blue. 'Oh my gosh, I'm a wreck!' I whispered. I shut my eyes. Something wasn't right… I looked at myself again. I had a blue orb floating above my head. I tugged at it, but weirdly it hurt. I walked back to the Rainbow Pool, asking if anyone had an invisible paint brush that I could use, but they called me a noob. So, I walked back to my neohome with a blue orb on my head. 'I'm home Fluff.' I called. Fluff walked out to the den, with a dish towel. 'Hi, I like your new look, Kem! What did you do.' Fluff squealed in happiness. I told her what happened, while she flicked my orb.
So, Fluff was fine with my look, so I kept it!

Chapter Six
It was about six months since my painting incident…
I walked down the stairs of my neohome. I sat down and poured myself some cereal. Champ had come over that night to help raise money for a paint brush. Fluff and Champ talking in quiet voices. 'Oh! Hi Kem! Peh he.' Fluff said, waving. Champ waved to. 'We were just talking about... well, stuff.' Champ said. I nodded, finishing my cereal. I washed up then sat in the den. Champ and Fluff were talking in quiet voices again. Fluff shooed me away. They were acting quiet nervous. I walked into the kitchen to see Chatiko. 'Hm. They haven't told you have they.' he said shaking his head. I walked away, then came back. 'What do you mean, "Haven't told you have they"?' I asked. Chatiko shook his head, then walked upstairs. I followed him 'Chatiko!' I yelled. He walked into Yuminoko's room; I followed him. Chatiko and Yuminoko sat on Yumi's bed. 'Oh hi Kem. Fluff wants you.' Yumi said, pushing me out of her room. I walked into the den, Chatiko and Yuminoko followed. Champ and Fluff were grinning widely; I turned to my siblings in confusion. They were both grinning. 'Suprise!' Fluff yelled. 'Put this blind-fold on...' Champ said, putting a cloth around my eyes. They lead me outside and walked for a long time. 'This isn't funny guys.' I said, stopping but the pushed me on. After a while we stopped. I heard rushing water and then I was pushed into some water. I came up. 'Ah! Wh-what was that for!' I spluttered. Champ and Fluff laughed. Chatiko and Yumi helped me out of the water. 'Look around!' Yuminoko said laughing. I looked around my surroundings, to see the Rainbow Pool. 'No. You didn't.' I whispered, I looked in the water to see my reflection. I was striped! I hugged Kem and thanked Champ over and over again for getting me the paintbrush.
Later that night Yumi had got me really mad. 'Fine then! Take the last cookie!' I screamed, walking into my room. I plopped on to my bed and tossed a pillow on the floor. Chatiko knocked on the door, then barged in. 'Here- Oh my God. Kem, your orb is glowing red.' I looked in my mirror. It was! I panicked; the orb glowed purple. I rushed downstairs to tell Kem, I cried, the orb turned blue. 'Oh, it's just changing colors when your emotions change.' Fluff said, shrugging. I calmed down and the orb dissapeared.
I'll never regret all of these happenings!
