Stock Market Info

The stock market doesn't close but it does start a new day at 12:00am NST.
The stock market changes at every 00am/pm and 30am/pm NST.
You can only buy at 15 or higher due to market regulations.
When you sell Nigel takes 20NP comission.
Buy at 15 - 17 np per share.
Buy 1000 shares a day in one company. You will need 15,000 - 17,000 np each day to buy 1000 shares.
Buy from different companies everyday.
Make a sell point. 30 (100%) is good if you are just starting. 60 (300%) is the average people wait for. 90 (500%) or higher, is for those who don't need np.
Never sell at a loss. If you bought at 15 do not sell at 10. Stock go down all the time, just be patient as they normally go back up.

Nigel's Random Event... The crazy chia in a suit will pop up from time to time telling you to invest in a stock. 99% of the time this stock will be either unbuyable (below 15np) or too high (above 20np). If by some miracle it is between 15 - 19 np per share then buy some, if not point and laugh at Nigel. Tell him "He's dreamin'"

15NP x 1000 shares=15,000NP invested in a stock/company
15 x 2=30 (100%)
So if you bought 1000 shares of a stock at 15NP and it has gone up to 30NP(100%) you now have 30,000NP. Yay!

 

Buying Shares

To buy shares go to the Bargain Stocks (stocks under 20 np per share)
Once there, scroll down to the stocks that are in buying range (above 15 np)
After you have seen what is in buying range and have chosen a company to buy from click on the "Ticker" (short name of company, eg; TAG=The Auction Genie).
This will take you to a new page and has some info about the company and it's competitors. Click on the name of the company.
this take you to a new page and has the "Ticker Symbol" in a field and Number of Shares in another field.
Type how many shares you want to buy in the "Number of Shares" field. then click "Buy Shares
After you have bought shares it will take you to Your Portfolio and you can see how many shares you own.
Now you know how to "Buy Shares".

 

Selling Shares

You have to be in Your Portfolio to be able to sell shares.
Scroll down to the stock that you want to sell.
Click on the "Grey Triangle" that is next to the "Icon" (picture) of the company that you want to sell.
There will be a mini table of info about the shares that you own there, how much they cost, etc. There will be a blank field at the end of this info, that is where you type how many shares you want to sell.
Once you have typed how many shares you want to sell in that field, scroll down and click "Sell Shares" If you have your PIN Number activated you have to type that too.
You will now be taken to the "Transaction Page".
It tells you how many transactions you have made, how many shares you sold, and how much for.


eg; Transaction Result
1 50 shares of SSS Sold 50 shares of SSS for 750 NP.

Nigel the Chia charges 20 NP as commission.

Summary : You had 182 NP. After 1 successful transaction, you have 912.

Now you know how to "Sell Shares".

 

Your Portfolio

Your Portfolio has a list of all the stocks that you have bought. It has the "Companies Icon", and tells you what stocks "Opened" at, their "Current Price" and "Change", the "Qty" and how much you "Paid" for stocks, the "Mkt Value" and the "% Change".
