Leveling up is a simple but time consuming task. The best advice someone can give you on leveling up is, "fight like crazy." Unfortunately, leveling up gets harder as you increase in level. But here are some places where leveling up is a bit easier:
Top of pride rock in Pride Lands
The World That Never Was
Hollow Bastion/Radiant Gardens Ravine Trail
Disney Castle (First encounter)
The top of pride rock in the Pride Lands is a perfect spot to get some levels before a boss. The peak is swarming with flying heartless. Don't bother using limits, they will only hurt a few heartless. The best way to tackle them is to use the reaction command or to fight them manually. Jump into the air, and it will atract a good deal of them, and then jump again and take your kill.
The World That Never Was is the best spot in the game to level up. This world is only available towards the end of the game, but it's the place to be when training to defeat Xemnas or Sephiroth. In the city, the only heartless you encounter are shadows, and they give 80 EXP each. There's loads of them, but they're very simple to beat. At Memory Skyscraper, the NeoShadows come out, they give 400 EXP. The only difference between them and the shadows is that they're faster and stronger, but they're still simple to kill. Each spot seems like the heartless never seem to stop coming, but if you kill enough they will stop, and then you can move on.
Once you reach the castle, the real fighting begins. Each nobody gives 1000 EXP, the only exception are the creepers which give 400 EXP. These nobodies are difficult, but once you reach higher levels, they become very easy to beat. All you have to do is go up and down the whole castle and the levels will come to you very quickly (You also get a great deal of synthesis items). If it's your first time n The World That Never Was, you'll encounter the various Organization members that are still left. Defeating them will level you up aswell, but thats obvious.
Hollow Bastion and Disney Castle are easy places for you to come upon easy heartless. Disney Castle loses heartless after you complete Timeless River, so if you've completed it, don't bother going. The Ravine Trail usually has lots of heartless (It depends on how far you are in the game). The rest of Hollow Bastion always has a constant supply of heartless, so don't worry about that. They're also fairly easy.
If you come upon other places, or have any tips about leveling up, mail jono_copaface.
Forms are one of the most unique things about Kingdom Hearts 2. They're powerful, fast, and also extremely cool. The four main forms for Sora are Valor, Wisdom, Master, and Final.
Valor- This is the most basic and common form of Sora's. It wields 2 keyblades, and Sora can run a great deal faster. It's special is the high jump. You only need Goofy to go into this form.
Wisdom- This form requires the help of Donald. Strictly magic, Wisdom form shoots magic bullets at the enemies you encounter. Sora only uses one keyblade, and the specialty is the quick run.
Master- The most powerful form under Final. This form requires the help of Goofy and Donald. It wields 2 keyblades, same as Valor, but also has magic. Aerial Dodge is available with this form.
Final- This form is the most rare and the most powerful of all the forms. 2 keyblades, and they float behind Sora. You also don't run, instead you glide everywhere. Unfortunately, Final is the hardest of the forms to obtain. It's appearence is random, some people get it halfway through the game, and some get it at the very end. But luckily, once you get it you can use it whenever you want! It happens when you go into one of your other forms, so instead of going into Valor, you'd go into Final Form!
Sora has other forms aswell. There's Anti, Lion, Space, Halloween, and Atlantica. The only form Sora changes into similar to his others is Anti. Anti is the weakest of all forms, you gain 50% more damage from attacks. You cannot revert, and you lose damage from your attacks. You do NOT want to go into this form, unless you're just playing around.
Growth is how Sora improves his jumps, speed, and etc. Growth is obtained while you are in the four forms (Valor, Wisdom, Master, or Final). Many people wondered how to glide, double-jump, or just run faster in Kh2. Because you could do so in Kh1. Here's which forms go with what.
Valor goes with High Jump
Wisdom goes with Quick Run
Master goes with Aerial Dodge
Final goes with Glide
High jump is how high Sora jumps when you press O. You can improve this by leveling up Sora's Valor form. Quick Run is when you make a sudden burst of speed, Aerial Dodge is a double jump, and Glide is flying. These all level up by leveling up the appropriate form.
The forms level up different from the way Normal Sora does.
Valor levels up from every time you HIT an enemy. It doesn;t matter, heartless or nobody, but the amount of hits you make against it are how much EXP you gain.
Wisdom gains experience from how many heartless you kill.
Master gains it the same way.
Final Forms gains experience from every Nobody you kill. So The World That Never Was is the appropriate place to level it up.
