My Story

(Continued from Kinka's story)

Kinka was returning from his nostalgic trip to his old home in Happy Valley. He was eager to get back to his small little clan and for a good reason. His beloved mate, Tosca, was expecting a kit that would be born anytime now.

It wasn't long before Kinka finally reached the vast forest and fields that lied between Shenkuu and Altador. Already he could smell his clan and he knew they weren't far off. Kinka eagerly ran towards them.

It was early morning. Most of the other xweetoks were still asleep. When Kinka reached the tree where Tosca had been sleeping in, he noticed that there was a new scent in the air. Kinka climbed up the tree to see what it was.

Tosca was curled up fast asleep in a bed she made out of leaves and grass. When Kinka got closer he noticed that she looked much thinner. He knew there was a reason for that.

He heard a small squeaking sound, and then a small furry face peered over Tosca's back. Kinka smiled and licked the tiny little kit's cheek.

Sarah
That's Sarah. She's really nice to me, my mom, my dad, and all my relatives. And she also likes to get neomails! She also likes animals, drawing, and this one TV show...This I'm In The Band or somethin'. (She says it's really funny.)


Tosca
That's my mom. She can control fire! Isn't that cool? Plus she can go invisible. So if you play hide-and-seek with her, she might win. I wonder if I have any powers?


Kinka
That's my dad. He started the clan that I'm in. He's really nice. Maybe you should visit him!


Badiel
That's my aunt. She doesn't talk much. Plus she doesn't really like humans, not even Sarah. Whenever I ask her why, all she says is "You don't need to know about my past." I wonder why?

Friends


Mirabelle, or Mira for short, is kinda like my conscience. She often appears to give me good advice or when I feel lonely. She appears when I need her, so she's kinda like a conscience. What's kinda weird is that she says she lives inside of me. What does that mean?

Kayley then walks behind a bush, and comes out holding an Ukali. "This is Gargie." She says. "Sarah gave him to me. Ain't he cute? He's pretty quiet most of the time, except when he sleeps. He snores...real loud. Plus his name is actually short for 'Gargoyle'. Speakin' of which, doesn't he kinda look like one?"
