Thanks a million to everyone!

Requests are ALWAYS closed.
If my requests DO happen to be open (WHICH THEY NEVER ARE), you and/or your guild /must/ follow these rules:
(1.) Your guild absolutely MUST be literate. This is the most important rule by far. The guilds that use proper grammar seem more
professional, and thus I can trust that I'm not wasting my
time making you a layout when your guild is never going to
go anywhere. In addition, you must be literate. Do not even attempt to ask for a layout unless you try to use proper grammar. This may seem harsh, but it's necessary. |
If you happen to follow the rules, and you know for a fact my requests are open, you must fill out this form thoroughly:
Name: |
The more you give me to work with, the better your layout will turn out. Pick out some pictures you wouldn't mind having, tell me the colors you want. I ask you to tell me which of my examples you like the best so I get an idea of what your taste is (I try and work with a wide variety of styles).
I /will/ know if you read all of this if you neomail me the form with the subject "Future Request." If you have the form, but the subject title is incorrect, then I'll ignore you. I never used to be so uptight about this type of thing, but when people fail to listen to the rules, I get a little bit annoyed, so sorry if I sound a little bit rude right now. Click here to neomail me.
If you would like to be my affiliate, simply neomail me! I accept everyone, but if you don't have me up on your affie page, I won't keep you up on mine. The first affie button is my own button, so feel free to put it up on your page; the second button is for my graphic site, don't forget to check them out!

Welcome to iamkid's guild layouts. Everything on this page (graphics, css, EVERYTHING) was made exclusively by me (iamkid). If you happen to stumble across any stolen goods, I'd really appreciate it if you'd neomail me. Thanks!
I CAN CODE YOUR LAYOUTS. If you already have a
layout, but there's something wrong with it or you simply
cannot code it, I can code/edit in a breeze AND it will be
completely compatible with firefox. I no longer have enough time to code layouts; learn all about how to
code Full Page Guild Layouts yourself with my handy dandy tutorial.
All of these layouts took hours to make, so I'm quite proud of each one (some more than others). Arranged from oldest to newest. Drag the image to the address bar to see it full sized.

Comments: I love this layout! It was my first, and definitely represented the extent of my abilities when I first started making them. I had originally made it on paint, and then popped the faerie out when I got the photoshop trial (which took hours because I didn't know how to make a PSD).

Comments: This was my first request. When I heard it, I thought I was going crazy (come on, dragons and babies???). First experience using brushes, before I realized there were a billion different kinds. Haha.... it looked awesome when I first made it but now when I look at it, it's my 2nd to least favorite (least being the Xweetok design, further down).

Comments: I had an image to work with on this
one, and it made it a lot easier. Before I realized there
was a Magic Wand tool though... still took a long time. It
turned out okay.

Comments: This looks a lot like the last layout,
but also the very first time I'd used a downloaded
paintbrush. Turned out cute
(:

Comments: I was experimenting with some
downloaded brushes, and thus this layout was born. I
edited to custom after I made it, though. I like it, but
it's really dark.

Comments: Another darkie! It's pretty, though.
I really like the color behind the Pteri and the lightning flashes.

Comments: The only thing I did with this is add
a blog and sort of blend it into the background (and code
it, obviously), and yet everyone seems to think I mixed the
image in the background. The person asking for the layout
sent me the picture url... that just goes to show you: the
more you help me, the better your layout will be!

Comments: Bleck, this is my least favorite
layout. I like the Xweetok (and the swishing tail, haha),
but the colors are ugly and the blog box is too
contoured.

Comments:Back to my old style. I decided to
switch it up a little, though and make it unique. I love
the result (:

Comments: First experience blending images
together... wasn't as hard as I thought. It's REALLY dark,
though, and on some computers, people can't even see it.

Comments:I wanted to try something a little
different; the theme was Paramore (the band), but I made
the layout look more like a notebook. I love it's
simplicity. This is definitely my favorite
layout.

Comments:Originally supposed to be a scribble,
this layout turned into a random masterpiece! Haha, maybe
not, but I'm particularly proud of it because I illustrated
all of it except the words (well... I traced some images,
but the monkey is totally original!)

Comments: This was my first after several months
of not making layouts, and I was really uninspired. It
turned out okay, though. Pretty
dark.

Comments: I love the cat! This was for a
roleplay, I believe, of streetcats. Simple, yet effective.
A classic.

Comments: Ehh, this one turned out just okay. I seriously hit graphic-artist's block, though.

Comments: This was my first CELEB layout (although not a complete splat, which are all the same and kind of boring) and my first time making a PREMADE layout (which was nice because I didn't have to pick out the font for the title.) I made it for my graphics site;; (if you want this layout, go to inkbox . co . nr, and it's under the guild layouts).

Comments: THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE!!! My first attempt at a scribble layout and I went ALL OUT. It's definitely my best work. Why? Because it's animated! Can you even believe that?! Well, it took me forever to make, and the only part I don't like about it is that (because I had to save it as a gif for the animation) it's a little blurry. I drew all the images myself, and because I luver you guys so much, the screenie is animated, too!

Comments: This is a new style for me; instead of making a solid background, I stretched the image out and then blended into the background. So not only does it look good on small screen resolutions, it looks good on large ones, too! Also, I made stuff with lights and electric. Super cool xD

Comments: This isn't the first layout I made for my guild, but it's really unique. The background is the Help Chat (my guild is all about helping our fellow Neopians) and the forground looks like a pop-up -blocked- I actually took the "close" button from the Neopets Customizing page. If you click that "close" button, it takes you here. I thought that was clever. :)

Comments: I really liked this layout when I first made it, only because it took FOREVER. Why did it take forever, you ask? Because that image in the middle is actually animated. And animating with Photoshop always takes forever. I forgot to put my credit on it, though. Whoops. If you want to see the animation, drag this little box to the address bar:
. Also, this was one of the first layouts I made that actually used a sidebar!

Comments: This also took a long time. The teams in Anonymous were starting up again, and I wanted to try something a little grungier, since all of our previous layouts had been very white and clean. Even though I adore white and clean, it was time for something new. I used some opacity in this one. And did I mention I had internet explorer? It looks so much cooler in FF and Chrome.
Usually, the most current layout I work on is in my guild. When you pick up your code, providing you don't pick it up like a day or more later, you can usually view your layout on my guild.
To use the layout, simply copy whatever's in the textbox and paste into the welcome box on your guild layout. Try not to mess with any of the css unless you know what you're doing, because the smallest thing can mess up your entire layout (trust me, this has happened before; if you do accidentally mess with it, neomail me and I'll put it back up. I save all the layouts so it's not a big deal). After checking the layout out, feel free to advise me of any changes I can make; I will most certainly not be offended.
Here are some of the awards and thank yous I've received from people around neopia. Thanks for the rating/lubbers! (To view full picture, drag image to address box):
