There are 5 wheels, 6 if you have access to Lutari Island on your cell phone, and 7 if you count sponsored games.
By playing the Wheels you can get NPs, petpets, avatars, diseases, windows, food, wisdom and lots of other treasures.


Below I show what I've won from each wheel and how often I have landed on certain spots.
There are prizes I have not listed because I just want to catalog and report my experiences.

I spun this wheel 400 times, spending 20,000 NPs. I won back only 45,720 NP, gaining 25,720 NPs (128.6%).

These stats are for spins after TNT fixed the wheel. Prior to that fix I had said this wheel was not worth spinning - now I've definitely changed my opinion of this wheel is not Mediocre.

I spun this wheel 130 times, spending 13,000 NPs. In addition to the cost of spinning the wheel I lost 901 NPs, for a total loss of 13,901 NPs (-107%).

NEVER have anything of value in your inventory when spinning this wheel, otherwise it may turn to sludge or be stolen by the Pant Devil. Any Gifts or Petpets that are awarded can be bought in shops cheaper than the price of randomly hitting that space on this wheel. Once I got the Avatar this wheel is only a MISFORTUNE. Your experience may differ.

I spun this wheel 300 times, spending 45,000 NPs. I won back 76,845 NP, gaining 31,845 NPs (41%).

This is the second BEST of all the wheels. The mystery prize is the most common award by far, but landing on other spots greatly makes up for any losses. A total return of 41% from this wheel causes great EXCITEMENT and a wheel definitely spinning multiple times per day. Your experience may differ.

You might read on some sights that if you spin the wheel exactly on the hour, you will win 1,000 NPs. I not sure if this is true.

I spun this wheel 300 times, spending 30,000 NPs. I won back 149,045 NP, gaining 119,045 NPs (80%).

This is by far the best paying wheel of Neopia. The trick of this wheel is that you have to leave it running to the very end, and sometimes that can be as long as 3 hours!!! So make sure not to exit your browser or navigate away from the page, or else you'll lose whatever prize you were going to get. However, AmaterasuChan has devised a great way of know what prize you are going to get - that way if you know it's just another rock, then your free to move on. I save this for the very last item on my DAILIES, then walk away from my computer because I just can't stand the MONOTONY.

The great value in this wheel is the Bri Codestones. For me this prize came up often enough to make spinning this wheel a worthwhile investment of NPs and TIME. Just imagine if one of my 52 lottery tickets actually won, or if I land on the 20,000 NP spot. Your experience may differ.

I spun this wheel 300 times, spending 150,000 NPs. I won back 202,847 NPs, gaining 51,847 NPs (26%). However this is only a positive number because I got a Green Brightvale Job Coupon which sold for 110,000 NPs. If it were not for that bit of luck I would have a lost -58,153 (-63%).

I've decided that this wheel is not worth spinning. It good prizes are very hard to get and I certainly I don't need any more of it's "KNOWLEDGE" repeated to me again. If you want to build up your Book or Stained Glass collections it would be cheaper to go through the ShopWizard.
