Welcome to Snowy's FAQ Page! Here, you will find all the information you need to know about me and my role in Neopia. Please be sure to read through this entire page before contacting me with a question, as your question may have already been asked before. This will save us all a little bit of time!

About Me

Q: Who are you?
A: On Neopets, I refer to myself as Snowy. I chose that name because I love snow, and it was snowing on the day I was born!

Q: How old are you?
A: I'm a university student, enrolled in undergraduate studies. ;)

Q: What's your birthday/horoscope?
A: Umm, doesn't revealing this make it easier for someone to break into my account? =S

Q: What are your interests?
A: I have a lot. And I mean, a LOT. To name a few: graphic design, CSS/HTML coding, anime/manga, Japanese fashion, drawing, dance, and ofcourse, NEOPETS!

Q: What do you plan on doing in the future?
A: Mmmm, what a deep question. If I could have things always go in my favor, I would love to be a mangaka (Manga artist). But things like that are hard to accomplish. I'll likely end up with a career in the graphic design, software programming, or website coding industries. If I do follow the programmer's path, then I'd like to aim to become a 1337 programmer for Neopets (just like Snarkie)!

Neofriends/Guild/Battledome Requests

Q: Your Neofriend/Guild/Battledome requests are always "closed". Why? Will you open them up eventually?
A: No. Guilds require too much time commitment, so I don't ever intend on joining one. The same goes for Neofriends. Making friends online is just doesn't interest me right now.

Q: Do you want to be friends?
A: Sorry, but no. And I don't want to be "neomail-buddies" either.

A: One more word from you and I'll unleash Xyrieth onto you!

On Neopets

Q: How often are you on Neopets?
A: I try to go online at least once a day, even if it's just a brief moment. I'll check my mail and stocks, and if I have time, I'll go through my guide to do dailies and earn NP.

Q: Why is your store always empty?
A: Ahhh... sorry about that. I'm usually too busy to hang around the stores to restock (and I'm also horrible at choosing the right things to sell). If you insist on buying from my store, I normally restock on the 3rd of every month (with things I bought from Half-price day!). My stuff sells fast, since I tend to price things below what's on SSW.

Q: Can I send you gifts?
A: Well, I'm not one to reject gifts. But if you have items or NP to spare, you should definitely keep them for yourself or donate them to the Money Tree. There are Neopians out there who are more needy than me. =)

Q: How much NP do you have?
A: Let's just say that I'm nowhere close to what's considered as "rich". I don't make NP everyday, so it takes me a long time to save.

Q: How often are you on your side accounts?
A: I try to go on at least once every week, or more often if I can. I normally just go on them to feed pets and use the lab ray.

Q: Why is your first side account your oldest account?
A: Because I used that account many years ago, but quit before I even started to settle in. I eventually decided to give Neopets another try, using a different account as my Main. gold_jubie43 is actually my first pet EVER on Neopets, and he came from that account. =)

Q: What are your goals/dream pets?
A: I have a very extensive list of things that I wish to achieve on here... I'll be making a petpage listing all of my goals shortly, so please stay tuned if you wish to know!

Q: May I have *insert pet name/item name/amount of NP here*?
A: NO. And yes, that huge red font was necessary. I will NEVER give out items or NP to anybody who asks me, so don't waste your time. The Money Tree exists for a reason. As for pets, the ONLY pets that are UFT/UFA are the ones that I make a board on in the NeoPound Chat. If you don't see a board, then the pet is not UFT/UFA (even if there's a message on the pet's lookup). If you offer on a pet that is clearly not UFT/UFA, then prepare to face the consequences...

Q: Are you often on the NeoBoards?
A: Yes. I go on the Boards whenever I go online_ You can usually find me in the HC (Help Boards), Pound Board, or Premium Boards. Beware though, I'm often lurking. =)

Q: What is Neopets Premium?
A: That answer is too complicated for me to answer! Here's a guide about Premium and its features: Leto.

My Petpages

Q: Can I send you fan-mail about your 50k-A-Day Guide?
A: Ofcourse, comments and suggestions are always welcomed!

Q: There's a broken link on your 50k-A-Day guide...
A: Neomail me ANY concerns or problems about my guide. Sometimes, I don't use my guide for days so I don't know if a sponsor game has been taken off the site. I'd appreciate it if you let me know!

Q: Can I make a banner/award for your guide?
A: Yes! Neomail me about it. =)

Q: Your 50k-a-day guide is out of date, and you haven't updated it for a long time! When are you going to update it?
A: I'm a very busy person, so I only have time to update once or twice a month. I usually update the NP-ratios within 5 days of their change (meaning the 25th - 30th of the month), but it could be later if I'm really busy with school and stuff.

Q: Can I use links or graphics from your petpage on my own guide?
A: Links, yes. You can use them as long as you give me some sort of credit (putting one of my banners on your site will do too). For graphics... if the URL contains "neopets.com", then that graphic does not belong to me so you can use it all you want. If it doesn't contain that, then the graphic was made by me so please don't use it on your page.

Q: Ummm... wasn't your guide "40k-A-Day" before?
A: What sharp eyes you have. It WAS, but I discovered more easy games and added them on. Now, the total daily earnings can range from 40k-60k, depending on the monthly NP-ratio changes.

Q: Can you screenie me? =D
A: Ummm, sure... Drop me a neomail if you want me to screenie you on the Boards or your fan-mail.

My Artwork/Graphics/Codes

Q: What do you use to make your artwork (e.g., Beauty Contest entries, drawings of pets, etc.)?
A: I hand-draw most of my pictures with a black pen, and then scan them into my computer. After, I use Photoshop to edit them and add color.

Q: Do you do custom art?
A: As of now, no. Perhaps in the future, when I have a shorter To-Do list.

Q: You always have a different userlookup!
A: Erm, I'm VERY addicted to making new lookups. I get bored so easily with my lookups, so I tend to switch often.

Q: Do you make custom lookups/premades?
A: Actually, I do have plans for starting my own premade/custom lookups page. The site will be launched sometime later on. Once again, stay tuned!

Q: How did you learn to code things so nicely? Can you teach me to code too?
A: Before coming to Neopets, I actually didn't know anything about coding, nor did I care for it at all. When I came here, I saw some very nice lookups from other users, so I was inspired to do whatever it takes to make a good one for myself too. So, determination is important when dealing with those annoying codes. If you're not motivated, you'll give up quickly. For beginners, I suggest asking for HTML/CSS guides on the Help Boards. Those guides can be very useful. Also, try taking an existing code (try Sunnyneo's premade lookups), and study it closely. Tweak it a bit, change the graphics to your own, and play with the coding. This will teach you what each component does, and it'll give you a feel of what needs to be done to give the results that you want (try changing the coding and click "preview" to see what happens when you do this-or-that). HOWEVER, make sure you keep a tag saying "Coding help from Sunnyneo" or something similar on your new lookup, or you'll get in trouble for stealing coding.
