She jumps up onto the table next to the dust laden window and pulls open the curtains. She pushes open the old stiffly hinged window and gazes out across into the distance. She calls you over to see the view from the -blocked- "Isn't it beautiful? but gosh it's cold! Isn't it supposed to be summer?" A gust of cold air makes you shiver, and kara's nose crinkles as if she was going to sneeze, but it stops. Well, i guess that is what we get for moving into a new neohome based in Terror Mountain, but the snow is so beautiful and literally breath taking. How could we resist?

Loves

I am a Neoquest and board game addict, cards are my weakness. I love the thrill of perfectly executing a play, the moment that you just want to jump up and down in utter excitement because fo once you've actually won. I love cards, i love games, but it doesn't mean my luck or skill is anything bar below average. Kara lets out a sigh and shuffles her neocard deck.

Gemma loves textiles though, that's where we both get a long perfectly. I love costumes, i love the fact that i can dress up and feel like a whole different character, i can step out of my own skin and be someone new, even if it is temporary. I'd be sad if i wasn't myself for too long, there's nothing fun in being someone you're not.

Hates

There isn't much that grinds my gears, so to speak. There is the usual, no one likes hackers, scammers, cookie grabbers, hatred, and just plain evilness.

Memory Lane

Gem opens up her scrap book and flicks through the pictures, and sighs gently, recalling all the past memories of years gone by. She looks up and asks you to take a seat next to her, and says "Things, really do change a lot, don't they. Kara used a blue water meerca when she was younger, she had the most beautiful silver and gray wings. When she was little she didn't used to have wings, it was really strange. One halloween we gave her an usuki angel costume with wings and harp, she looked so adorable, but as the holiday was over we packed away the costumes and i haven't to this day figured out where the wings came from. Kara doesn't seem to know either, she said they were there when she woke up one day after a bad dream. I try not to see it as an omen or a negative thing, she seems the same old Kara even with the wings, so it mustn't be anything to worry about." Gemma pauses "But, i can't really help worrying at times.

But, why does she look so different at times?" you say,

Do you mean why is she rainbow on the site and blue as a character? Well as a character she is a little smaller than a normal meerca and more mouse-like than a neopets meerca design. She's about the same size as an usuki doll (that's why she wears their costumes that I buy from the usuki doll clothes store). We decided to paint her as a meerca rainbow for the summer, I really liked the design that I doodled - so for any contests or artwork being sent into neopets kara will look meerca like but here she is her own character.

I was always paranoid about kara not getting into the beauty contest because she didn't look very "meerca like" after being refused quite a few times.. and when I enquired about it they said there was nothing wrong with the picture and it got through o_o so that's why she has a slightly split look. She's still the same character, just different depending on where she is.. I do hope that she as a character can get into the beauty contest one day though..

No matter where she is, she is always the bubbly, nutty, hypo ball of fluff that she's always been.

It's been a very long time since Gemma drew pictures of me in neopet form, and it's been a long time since she's drawn pretty much in general. She's been going through a lot of depression rough patches, but she says it's getting better - and i guess proof is in the pudding as she is doodling more. So expect to see more drawing spammage! She entered me into the beauty contest for some weird reason, just to say hiya really. Feel free to vote, would love it if you could, but we don't mind.

Adoptables

These are my very very, oh my gosh, very old adoptables. Normally i cringe when i see my old things, but at the same time i smile, i existed. Prior to this moment in time, prior to the faded blank and time skips, i existed, and i'm growing. How things have changed.

I swear, i'll make Gemma to make some spiffy new adoptables. This kind of brings me down memory lane so i'll keep them for a while to come.
