When you were traveling in Meridell, you notice that the citadel of evil, the Darigan Citadel was hovering above you. It hangs in the air above Meridell. There SEEMS to be very peaceful now. Lord Darigan has defeated Lord Kass, and became the ruler.

However, do you think everybody there really live in peace? Some loyal followers of Lord Kass refuse to obey Lord Darigan, they think that Lord Darigan is a weak leader and will bring them even more wars!

~A Simplified story of Kandova~

Kandova was born in Meridell. Her father was a hard-working farmer in Meri Acres who died in the war, while her mother was a cousin of Lord Kass. During the time when Lord Draigan became the new ruler, he was afraid that the relatives and those soldiers who are not obeying him will affect his power over Meridell, so he decided to lock them up.

The days past swiftly, Kandova was an innocent teenager when she was locked up. The prisoners tried everything to get back their freedom, and tried to escape. A few prisoners have succeeded to escape, but none of them are willing to return and free the other prisoners. So Kandova and her mother continued to work in the prison, treated badly by the guards.

One morning, Kandova woke up from her dream and found and extra silence, the prisoners are planning to escape again! Kandova listened to them...... All the things were according to the plan at first, they successfully passed all the guards, the elder ones went in the front and protect the younger ones . After they have escaped out of the tower, everyone flew at their top speed and most of them did get back their freedom, including Kandova, though she lost her mom forever...... Kandova's mom tried to protect Kandova from a trap, she flew infront of Kandova and stopped her, on the next second, Kandova's mom was hit by a draigan guard and fell into the trap herself! Kandova then had a difficult time living without her mom. She survived and she choose a place in Haunted Woods to be her home, she was greatly welcomed by the neopians there. She got along with a lot of friends.

Now, Kandova is a young adult, she decided to leave Haunted Woods, and explore the neopia. She hopes that she can make more friends who won't mind her scary wings!
