[Past]

Many moons have come and gone since the lands knew not of humans; it was a time when the animals reigned as the order of the world, and it was during this time that there was a race of horse-like beings called Caposian. They dared to race the winds on feathered wings, duel and win with silver hoof, and tame the hawk-like birds that each indervidual Caposian carried.

They were black as night - coats always sparkling - every single one had a beautiful, shining gloss ashen pelt. However not only their colour genetics were odd, but they carried a gene in which bore them a pair of straight horns sprouting from their faces: one larger extending from the forehead and another smaller one from just above there muzzle; and each were positioned exactly down the centre of there slender, handsome craniums.

The breed was often known for it's unsocial ways of never having a herd; not once in history had there been a Caposian herd - it was just too unatural. Instead they would travel in accompanies of a stallion and a mare - sometimes a foal would be hurrying along at hoof (thought not for long, as they grew independent unatturally fast).

The stallions were fighters and could battle anything twice the size with an easy victory, whilst still staying magnificently handsome - scars turned white and always seemed to shape into an image - however the mares were quiet and gentle compared to their gender counterparts, rarely arguing and being capable of putting up with even the most annoyance. Although battling one another stallion was the only way to settle a disbute between males over who is mate to a mare, the mares seemed not mind by the fighting; even they had their fighting side and enjoyed a show.

But onto the story of Kaisagi...

A small, ebony colt danced gracefully in a field of over-grown grasses as his elegant mother and father flicked a glance at him occasionally from afar. He was rambunctious and an explorer - unusual for the generally quiet, not-at-all-curious race of self-announced fallen gods; he was a freak to the breed, as any who had saw him commented. It was because of this that his parents rathered to stay further away from him, rather then close and protecting, for they thought he was some form of evil, yet didn't have the soul to carry out Death's deed upon him: as far as his beautiful parents were concerned he should of never happened.

His ears flicked forward, perking high as he turned his cranium towards his parents, beaming at his mother, who smiled kindly back, then at his father, who gave him the usual uncaring raised-brow; without a second to spare he lowered himself, prowling after a butterfly before pouncing on the unexpecting insect and freeing it. He marched after a line of ants, chased a beetle, watched curiously as a grasshopper bounced and flung itself from blade to blade of the long grass - anything to do with playing with someone or something, and he was there.
He looked behind him, and there were spawns of his own - his little hoofprints the size and elegance of his fathers, but stil his own, which reminded him of the safety of his sire, and prompted him to go bolting towards where his mother and father had lay minutes before...

Only to be greeted by some crushed grasses and dirt flung over the ground from galloping hooves...It was now that he realised they had abandoned him.

His petite, yet deadly hooves carried him across the plains as a loner, and over time other Caposian began to accept him now that he was alone as nature intended. Yet his once kind and gentle face, full of joy and fun, had slowly twisted cruely into a dark and blunt profile as he grew in both mind and age through his weanling, yearling, and now stallion body. He was one of the strongest and most powerful stallions in the lands, and had since had a Tekilu (a filly too young to be a mate) in which had fled from him to join an older, almost equally muscular stallion. He hadn't minded her depature - he had told her he wanted her to be happy - though as an almost grown stallion, capable of attaining any mare he pleased, he once again got the name of a freak; though now because he was alone. As far as he was concerned, he couldn't win.

His muzzle raised to the sky as he snuffled out the scent of the nest where the Airax were in the trees, and began to beat his wings gently - though it was useless, for he hadn't been bothered to teach himself to fly yet on his huge wings, and didn't really plan on it. Shuffling them tight against himself, he proceeded too begin a miserable trot to nowhere in particular as usual; that's when the screaming behind him sounded.
Swiftly, he pivoted, bolting towards where he had heard the sound, however once he found where it had come from, there was nothing there. Snorting, he went to leave, but stopped when he felt something miniature fall upon his back, and when he turned his head angrily to see what had been thrown, he was glowering directly at a hatchling that had fallen from it's nest.

By the age of 4 he had helped the little fledgling to grow into a magnificent bird; one of the hawk-like creatures now only the greatest Caposian carried. Her name was Pharok, and it was because of her that Kai learnt preciscion - one wrong move and he could easily crush the pretty little bird - he had no choice but to be extremely elegant and exact with his movements or he knew he'd destroy his only friend.

Kai and Pharok travelled to the most remote places seeking solace, but never did either find it. It was during one of these travels that they came across a huge herd (or so Kai thought it was), and upon entering their lands only then did they realise that this was no Caposian gathering, but a herd of bachelor uni stallions.

They charged at him, and when his natural fight, not flight instinct kicked in, the herd broke into two groups: they had planned it, and there was nothing he could do to stop the innevidable.

His hooves and strong jaw ripped and tore at their flesh, he fought madly, swiftly, elegantly - they barely touched him; he fought like a true Caposian...but even that couldn't save her...he wasn't fast enough, and by the time his battle was won, Pherko's was lost, as they had caught and crushed her.
That's when he discovered the true lethal power he could unleash upon others...
...and he was never the same again...

Enoshami| Enoshami |
Enoshami is too trusting, but is deffinantly good company on lonesome adventures. She can drive me crazy at times with her never-ending chatter, but always seems capable of cheering me up, and can sometimes even manage to get a laugh out of me. I suppose you could call her my best friend...though sometimes I wish she were more - then again, almost every other stallion she meets thinks that. Breathtakingly beautiful, suprisingly nice, and a real friend.

What can I say about Rane? She's stubborn, anti-social and likes to believe everyone thinks she's the tough guy...ahh, girl. I don't know what to think of her - she doesn't just...follow me and do whatever I tell her to do like all the others. I actually rather like it. Infact, i'm actually quite fond of Rane; even if she did set me off and I tried to kill her...hmm. I certainly wouldn't be complaining if she wanted an extra set of little hooves. -grin- Nah, she's a good mare whatever she is, and she's good fun to be around. I wouldn't want to danger our friendship (if you can call it that) at all...How odd.
