The Many Faces of Melbourne Multicultural Festival showcases Melbourne's cultural diversity with cultural food, folk dancing, the Many Faces of Melbourne Parade on the Yarra River, workshops as well as multicultural craft activities and entertainment from around the world. The festival is an opportunity for the people of Melbourne to display their cultural groups and to come together as a city in peace and harmony to celebrate the wonderful cultures living together.
Together We Are One The theme for the Many Faces of Melbourne Multicultural Festival 2008 is "Together We Are One". This theme is celebrated by the song of the same name performed by Australia's favourite daughter Delta Goodrem. This theme was chosen to emphasize the way all people have the opportunity to live together while bringing many different and exciting elements to make our city a wonderful place to live. |
