Welcome to the beautiful Stardust, a layout and banner request site. I also offers some premade content as well. I began working on this site in early September of 2012, and finally on September 23, 2012, we opened up! Stardust is run completely by Rebecca, or iloveeyouxo.

A shooting star quickly streaks across the night sky. Then more pass by within the minute. When the stars stop shooting, you see dust falling down. No not the brown dust, but silver and sparkly. A bit lands on your hand. Using your other hand, you reach into your pocket and pull out a small blue velvet pouch and pour the dust in it. You seal your bag and begin your walk home.

On your way home, a rustling sound catches your attention. You quickly turn to the direction of the sound, but no one was there. You then continue your walk home nervously. Wait - a voice says. Startled, you turn around.

Wh-who is there? Where are you? - you manage to stutter out.

I am but the voice all around you. I am here, I am there. No one ever sees me but I am here. I am the reason why dreams open up in little children, and the source of light that allows them to imagine. - the voice answers.

You think on the response for a few moments. Why are you here? - you ask.

Hmmm... what fun... amusing really. You really don't know? I have watched you for quite a while. You have a good heart and for that you deserve a reward. - the voice chuckles.

You stand there confused. The dust. The stardust that is. With my help, I will transform it into something pretty for you. Now look into your little pouch. You will find a set of instructions on how to request an award from me. Once you are done, look up to the night sky and make a wish on a shooting star. Within time, you will receive your award. - the voice explains.

You wait around for a few moments to see if the voice is still lingering in the air. You then walk over to a bench, sit down, and pull out the pouch containing the stardust, and read the instructions in it.

I would love to create a F.A.Q section for the site, so please send in your questions! I will post all of them on the site!!

I love getting comments, critiques and suggestions to make the site better, so please don't hesitate to mail me! If my mailbox is ever full, just send me an item and Ill know to clear it. I try not to let it get there though ;)

Requests

Before requesting, please ensure that requests are open. If they are closed, you may mail me asking when I think they will re-open. I usually have a time frame in mind, so I don't mind at all. There are a few rules though, so please read through them before requesting. When finished, just fill out the form for the graphic you want, and send it in! To see some examples I have already completed, browse through the premade section or go take a look at my portfolio



Rules:

    Please always leave credit on any graphic that you request from Stardust.
    I complete graphics for any site, any page, and with any images. As long as its appropriate for neopets, you request it, Ill complete it!
    Make sure you add all the details about the graphic you want. A few ways to do this would be: Telling me you like a specific element or layout in my portfolio or drawing up a quick image in paint showing where you want the image, text box, update box etc.
    I think this is the most important rule, although not exactly a rule. I spend a lot of time and effort planning and creating these layouts. When I see they aren't being used, it hurts. If there's something you don't like about the layout, no matter how small or big, even if you want the whole layout re-done, tell me! It wont hurt my feelings if you don't like it. I'm doing this to make users happy. I want to give you a layout you love and enjoy. So although you don't have to use the layout, I really would appreciate if you do.
    If you have read all of the rules, please add the word puppy in your form.
    Please only request one layout at a time. If I finish one, you may request another, but I want to be able to give all requestors a chance.
    Please remove all parentheses when you send in your form.

Banner Requests

You can request a banner for whatever your heart desires! It can be image based, or text based. If you aren't sure what size you would like your banner, I usually create them to 500px wide by 250px tall.

Layout Requests

A custom layout might just be the best type of request! You can explain your vision for your site or other page, or you can give me a theme to work with. No matter which way you choose, giving lots of details or a broad vision, your layout is guaranteed to come out stunning! If you dont love it, I will redo any aspect you want. Do you love this one premade layout, but want it customized for your page? Then just ask me to add your title and subtitle to it! These layout requests will be open more frequently than custom layouts.

Premade Layout Suggestions

** A NEW type of request here on Stardust! You may request a premade layout to be added to the site that you would like to use! For example: " I would like to see a baby themed layout with navigation to the left, and no update box." Layouts

Here you can find some premade layouts to use for anything your heart desires. If you would like to request a layout using one of these designs, but with your site's name thats okay too. Just make sure requests are open of course. Enjoy the layouts! Remember to keep all credits on!

There are four different types of layouts. Use the navigation below to find the layout you need:

Basic Layouts

 Basic layouts contain no anchors or update box, they only contain a basic textbox.

Anchored Layouts

 Anchored layouts contain pages with a separate navigation. These layouts contain no separate update box.

Update Box Layouts

 Updates box layouts contain one separate box meant for updates and a basic textbox. This layout does not include navigation or anchors.

Starpower; A competition run by Stardust

Welcome to Starpower! The goal of this event is to incorporate more premade layouts to Stardust, and I want to hear from you! Adding layouts to Stardust isn't always an easy task, because thinking of new ways to please everyone in one premade layout is hard. I want to offer all of you a wide array of layouts to choose from when seeking a premade. I know how difficult it is sometimes to find that perfect layout for your specific needs, and I want to help! Participating in this event does have a few perks, so why not check it out and see if you'd be interested in helping me, and yourself.


Important Dates:
  • On June 3rd entering begins
  • On June 17th entering ends
  • On June 19th winners will be chosen


    • Details

  • Each entry must follow two simple guildlines. It must be creative and it must contain at least 3 layout suggestions. The 3+ layout ideas must be related to a theme of your choosing, therefore all relating to one another in order to be creative.
  • An example of an entry that follows the guildlines:
    Theme: Faeries incorporated with user pages
    Layout 1: Fyora; about me page
    Layout 2: Illusen; tradelist & wishlist
    Layout 3: Jhudora; portfolio
    As you can see, each layout follows the theme. They all contain an image of a faerie, and they all are commonly used pages for users.
  • I will judge the entries based on creativity. The above example is very vague, but if developed a little more it could be a great winner. Try to imagine a set of layouts that you would love to use; usually those are the most creative and wonderful entries.
  • There will be first and second place winners. The two winners will receive different prize packs.
