Aye, kid, spare change? You heard from somewhere in the darkness, a low, grungy voice. Pace quickening, you act innocently. What voice? There was no voice. Apartment finally in your sights, you give a sigh of relief and slow down.
Your choice would certainly be your last.
I think you have some change to spare. The voice was right there, in your ear, the rank breath causing you to choke. With a hard shove you're grounded, scrambling to get away from this man.

P-Please help call someone You whisper to her, hoping she had a cell phone on her. To your surprise however the man sputters
G-Ghost before retreating back to whence he came from.
Rising to your feet you go to thank her, only to once again be shoved down to the ground.
Give me some money She sneers, her boot promptly steps on your hand. This time you do as your told, with your one hand you fumble with your wallet and toss cash onto the ground. She's quick to sweep it up with one hand and allows your hand the pleasure of not being stepped on.

He's probably my best friend, I've never met a more polite, interesting guy. Sure he's young, but- I don't know. Sradichi is different, he's kind of not good though. He has
problems that I don't think I can ever fix. It makes me sad to think about it. When we're hanging out and I'm not thinking about it though, I'm happy. I haven't seen him in awhile though sadly, I miss him. I always want to make sure he's okay.

I'm slightly dependent on Nujeri for a lot of stuff, y'know? The guy pays for the apartment I stay in, I mean who does that? Maybe he's not bright. Or maybe he's brighter than I give him credit for? I mean let's face it, he takes care of all of us. Whenever we have problems he always listens and gives advice. I know that doesn't sound ruthless or anything, I think there's two major sides to him. That side and then one where if you fail, you're the worst and stuff.

He's a nice guy with a frightening habit of getting angry sometimes. It's okay though, really. He's a nice guy. Always to me. I've learned a lot about loyalty and the tricks of the trade. He taught me how to hang out with Nujeri's crowd, no one else would. So y'know, I kind of owe him that.

She's so shy and kind to me, it's great. Grimely always shows me these tucked away stores to buy clothes from. Sometimes we hang out for days on end, she even gets along with my Ukali. It's nice having her around, she's pretty funny but in the cynical way. In fact-- she's a little mean spirited.

Holding the fort at home, I find myself enjoying this little bug's company. He's patient, quiet, and well we're attached to each other. We like hanging out, just kicking our feet up and watching good TV. Maybe get some chinese food and chow down on occasion.
Ghosts is what the city calls Nujeri's crowd. They're alive and well, not at all like what you'd expect when you hear the word. Well versed in being stealthy and other unsavory things, they are both feared and admired. Most citizens, simply allow them to do whatever in hopes of not interfering with Nujeri's plans.
