| About Petpetpets |
Long time no see! ;) I've updated prices and items. I've also added NC Mall items and Petpetpet Habitats Items. I plan to add more information about Petpetpet Habitats and there is a new petpetpet which we're referring to as Skuffler until we find out otherwise. =) Newest Petpetpet Skuffler As I'm sure you know by now, Neopets can be created at the Create-A-Pet. And you probably know Petpets are cute little pets for your Neopet. Well Petpetpets are tiny little pets for your Petpets! The first Petpetpets were spotted on Neopets June 11th, 2003. Most of them resemble little bugs, so its kind of like your Petpet has fleas! Only cute fleas, ^_^ What is the point? Do they DO anything? No, Petpetpets don't actually do anything. They just look cute and are little companions for your Petpets. Well how do I get one? Petpetpets don't restock at any Neopian shops so there are only two ways to obtain a Petpetpet. The first one is to buy them from users via the Shop Wizard or Trading Post, of course. The second way is by Random Event. Petpetpet Random Events are very rare and they'll look something like this:
Ok I bought a Petpetpet, how do I attach it? Petpetpets attach to your Petpet and unfortunately there's no command for the action. All you do is leave the Petpetpet in your Inventory and refresh until it disappears. Here are some tips, because it's not always as easy as it sounds! -Make sure you have the Pet/Petpet you want your Petpetpet to attach to set as your Active Pet. -You cannot have the Petpetpet in your Safety Deposit Box or Trades. It MUST be in your Inventory to attach. -This being said it CAN be stolen by a Random Event so every time you attach a Petpetpet you are taking a risk of losing it. -To prevent losing it, fill your inventory with junk items (such as Rotten Boots and other cheap things) to deter the Pant Devil and other Random Events. If you've taken all these steps and precautions, all you can do now is wait! Some Petpetpets attach within seconds, some take days. Don't think you're doing something wrong if it doesn't attach right away-- Vachai's petpetpet took 3 days, Jyrosa's took a few minutes. Just be patient and be careful! Do I HAVE to sit and refresh my Inventory or can I just browse the site? You do not have to refresh your Inventory to attach a Petpetpet. I attached Vachai's new petpetpet without refreshing my Inventory at all. So rest assured, you do not need to sit and refresh your Inventory all day. :) Oh and it took the Moquot 3 days to attach. Okok, I attached the Petpetpet...now how do I remove a Petpetpet? To remove your Petpetpet, unequip your Petpet. HOWEVER, once you do this your Petpetpet will disappear. It does NOT return to your Inventory. So once your Petpetpet is attached there is no way of getting it back. If my Petpetpet has the same amount of letters as my Neopet's name do I have to change the language to attach it? Nope. I attached a Moquot to Vachai without changing the language so it's not an issue. I heard if a petpet isn't named after it's attached the petpetpet won't jump onto it. Is this true? No! Not true at all. I attached a Moffit to a Spyder without naming the Spyder and I had no problems. Of course I think you should name your poor petpet. I only left mine nameless to test this theory. ^_^ What effects does using the Petpet Lab Ray have on your petpetpet? Currently the only zap that will affect your petpetpet is the zap that makes your Petpet vanish. If you are unfortunate enough to get this zap then your petpetpet will be gone forever. :( Can I get any Avatars from having a Petpetpet? There are currently two Petpetpet Avatars. Click here or scroll down to see more information! Have a question about Petpetpets not listed here? Neomail us! |

Moach |
The Moach avatar is obtainable by visiting a Pet that has a Moach attached to its Petpetpet, such as these: ArcticPal, Calander, Rasheko, Jabberslam, Cochiese |
Mootix |
To get the Mootix avatar, you must purchase a Mootix and have it attach to your pet, then view your QuickRef (QuickRef, NOT Lookup). This one's very rare as you can't borrow a Mootix (since they disappear when you remove them from your Pet) and they're very expensive. The only essential way to borrow a Mootix is to borrow someones pet who has a Petpet with the Mootix attached. Currently I think the Mootix runs between 1-2mil NP. |

| Petpetpet Habitats Items | |||
These items are available for the Petpetpet Habitats game. This game is not currently available (Beta Testing available for Premium Users). This game is different from most of Neopets games in two ways: First off you must download the game to play, secondly items acquired within the game are able to be placed in your Inventory. This means these items are vulnerable to Random Events. Once the game is made available to all users, Neopets will be opening two shops for the items; a regular Neopoints shop and a NeoCash shop. The object of the game is to build your Petpetpet Habitat, of course. One good feature of the game is that your gameplay progress is linked to your account. This means if you quit playing and save your progress on one computer, when you logon to Neopets from another computer your P3 Habitats will pick up where you left off. I haven't been able to beta test since I don't currently have Premium, but the game looks -very- awesome, in my opinion. =D I hope to have more information available soon, and I may even make a separate page dedicated to P3 Habitats. Items marked in bold will be available with NeoCash. | |||
