The Complete Meteor Screenie Guide

Clicking on the link on the day it showed up in the news brought something reminiscent to the Lost Tomb of Geraptiku, with a chance of absolutely nothing or receiving a prize, some unique to the Meteor. The Meteor is located here and you can visit on average every 1-2 hours, although if you received a prize you might have to wait as much as 3 days, to as little as 12 hours to visit the meteor again. Prizes include petpets, furniture, food, and weapons unique to the game and many more prizes that are not unique. (Prizes are listed later in the Guide)
The first look at the mysterious meteor, click on the "Take the Chance" button
Here you are given a chance to poke the meteor with a stick ( 0_o wait.... they have TREES on Kreludor!? ) or flee.
If you forget to select an action the meteor just poofs, thanks to zebeeboy for the tip!
If Mr.Meteor likes you, he cracks open and a space-like prize falls out (Space Food, Booktastic Book, ect.) or a prize that is unique to the meteor!
Alternates: "Maybe it was all a dream.
Try again later.", "You stare at the now empty space and wonder what happened. Try again later.","Looks like you were lucky, the meteor just rolled away.", "This must not be your lucky day. The meteor just disappeared.", "I suppose the meteor doesn't like having company. Maybe you should try again later." ..... If you're not as lucky as most, you get nothing, not everyone's "nothing" says the same thing, as shown above
If you have visited the meteor too soon after poking it you get this message
This appears randomly, whether you've collected a prize or not.
This is another event that appears randomly, you're not going crazy when you see this, it does in fact show no picture.
Another event happens if you visit the Meteor too soon after you collected your prize (You can get this one or the Giant burning meteor that is too hot.), you chased away by a Mad Scientist... scary!

Quick FAQ

Q: Can I visit it more than once a day?
A: Yes, it doesn't work like the Deserted Tomb or even the Fishing Hole. You can visit the meteor once every 1-2 hours, although, if you receive a prize you will have to wait a minimum of 12 hours or so.
Q: I got a ________ but it wasn't in your guide, is it special?
A: Maybe, neomail me, I might have just missed it.
Q: How old does your account have to be to visit the meteor?
A: It has been tested, a newbie account can visit the meteor right away!
Q: I can't seem to find the meteor crash site on the map of Kreludor. Could you help me?
A: There is currently no link to the meteor directly on the map of Kreludor ( I did a view source check to verify this ) you can only visit through this link
Q: Help! I haven't gotten anything in 2 days from the Meteor!
A: It's not you, you will have unlucky periods were you might not receive anything from the meteor. It's normal.
Q: I poked the meteor twice out of all the time it has been there and it keeps disappearing does that happen to you or was I just unlucky?
A: Yes, that happens to be the magical meteor's favorite trick it seems. You're not doing anything wrong, just keep trying.
Q: Am I allowed to visit the Meteor with my side account(s)?
A: Ask yourself, "Can I earn nps from doing this?", If the answer is yes then you are not allowed to visit it on your side account.... and no, because you have the possibility of winning prizes, you cannot visit the meteor on your side account.
Q: Anyway, I was reading your guide to the Meteor Crash site, and you said that if you go two or three days without getting a prize, it was normal. I've probably gone a month without getting a prize. Do you have any suggestions? Sorry if this a waste of your time, but I've never gone this long without getting a prize from this or related places.
A: I don't know for sure if the meteor is timed or not, most likely it's random but do you always visit the meteor a certain time? Like if you ALWAYS did your dailies and went to the meteor in the morning you could try going to the meteor in the afternoons instead and that might increase you chances. You could just be incredibly unlucky though xD...
Q: I saw on the help boards once someone saying that if you clicked the meteor on a crack you were guaranteed to receive a prize. I asked TNT in the Ediitorial if this was true or a glitch, but they didn't answer. Do you know anything about this? Thanks.
A: Clicking on a "magic meteor crack" will not guarantee you a price. This is just a rumor which you can't always trust, geez, look at all those jellyworld rumors and we all know THAT doesn't exist :D *shifty eyes*.
