Sorry for the lack of updates, the last two weeks of school and my weekends have kept me insanely busy. Merely Michelle will have a new layout soon though, along with some changes! I will try to get it done next weekend, but I can't guarantee anything. Again, I am sorry for the very small amount of time I have been able to put into the site.

Glowing Text Effect
Ever wanted to add a glowing effect to text, like on the image above? Well this simple tutorial will show you how in just a few easy steps! The first step of the tutorial is explained below. For the next steps you need to drag and drop the images below for the instructions. Let me know how this tutorial works for you!
Open up a new image (or whatever image you want to use the glow effect on) in Gimp. I just opened an image with a colored background, since I'm using white text for this example. Type in your text and position it where you want.
