Pillow's 1337/n00bspeak translator

Well hi there guest! Obviously you're having some trouble
understanding the very complex language of 1337 and/or n00b speak.
Not to worry, though, this page includes Pillow (pikachu3801)'s sincere efforts to help you out a bit. ;)

simpler forms of 1337/noobspeak

These are the easiest to understand. ;]
The simplest form is barely noobspeak at all, consisting of just letters and sometimes numbers.
For example:
teh 4w3somnse ov teh trnsltrz 9wnz u!!!!11!111

^ This is probably the most common form.

teh: this simply means "the". I think this started with a typo. xD

4w3somnes: awesomeness. The number 4 represents an A (see the resemblance?) and the 3 represents an E -- it looks like an E backwards.
The rest just leaves out a couple vowels, but you can usually guess the word.

ov: of. In noobspeak, words are often spelled exactly the way they sound, so since
of" is said like "ov" it can be replaced with that in noobspeak.

trnsltrz: translators. All of the vowels are left out, and it is common in this language to add a
Z in place of an S, or even at the end of a singular noun.

9wnz: pwns. The 9 is like a P, and the Z = S. "pwns" is an -disallowed_word- i.e. my petpage pwns yours! ).

u & !!!!11!111: u, obviously, means "you". The rest is just a very strange way of adding lots of emphasis on the words!!!!!!!!!,
and it looks a lot stupider when you throw in some 1's between the !'s, which is the whole idea of this language.

So,
teh 4w3somnse ov teh trnsltrz 9wnz u!!!!11!111
becomes
the awesomeness of the translators pwns you!

more complex forms of 1337/noobspeak

This can be very confusing.
And it might hurt your eyes, so I'm warning you now ok. ;)

Well, here we go!
Example:
0^6 |/|/4+z |-|/-|^1^ |/0!!11!!!11!

Ahhh, what can we make of this? you wonder.. much, young cricket. It's all a matter of decoding. Just observe the master...

Ahem. I apologize, that was of course of no help at all. :(
Now to decode this message.

OK, you just need to think outside the box a little. Let's see, what symbols are in here?
We've got numbers, /s, and uppercase number symbols (i.e. ~!+_)(*&^%$#@).

So we just need to know how all these little things could translate to letters.
We already know the numbers, right? (;

^: This is an N. It resembles a small lowercase one (n).

|/|/: This is all one letter. Guess what it is? No? A W of course! See how they are similar? Yes?? Good. :)

+: Of course this one's easy. T! It looks almost just like a regular lowercase one (t).

|-|: This isn't that hard. It's an H of course! And look, we're almost done!!

/-|: Well know how I said 4 means A? It's not the only translation. This means A also, see the resemblance?

|/: Last letter!! This one's a little bit tricky. It translates to the second last letter of the alphabet: Y of course!
It's a bit far-fetched, but you can use your imagination ~ right?? (;

So,
0^6 |/|/4+z |-|/-|^1^ |/0!!11!!!11!
becomes
Ong watz hangin yo?!
