Rules & Requirements

1. NEVER EVER DISOWN, SELL, OR TRADE AWAY THE NEOPET.
That defeats the purpose of your applying for the neopet, as well as my putting so much effort into caring for him/her. Be sincere when you say that you mean to keep my foster pets forever.

2. APPLICATION & CORRESPONDENCE
Neomail your applications & questions to veritie.

I accept applications in neomail or petpage format. If you decide to make a petpage application, please include somewhere that you made it out of your own free will. At minimum, please include the questionnaire.

3. ACCOUNT AGE
One of your accounts has to be at least 4 months old.
If you plan to adopt, please be and stay active!

4. YOUR NEOFAMILY
I want to know what kind of family my neopet is going into.
Include this in your questionnaire as #10: What do your pets think of the pet you're applying for?

5. PLEDGE OF GOOD OWNERSHIP
Promise and Pledge that you will keep the pet forever and take care of her/him (and mean it). Place the pledge of good ownership on your userlookup when you apply for the pet.

Pledge of Good Ownership(from TNO):
If I am chosen, I, (your name) , pledge to be the best owner I can be for my new Neopet, (pet's name). I understand all the sadness that he/she has already been through, and so I will provide everything he/she needs to be happy. I promise to be a friend to my new Neopet and never ever ever put him/her through the pain of neglect or abandonment again.
6. DISCLAIMER
If you choose to apply for my foster pet, it is by your own decision. Please understand that an application and the time you spend on it will not guarantee your getting my pet. I am not planning to sell or trade these pets. The only NP that you'll spend is when you adopt the pet from the Pound.

Questionnaire

I would prefer if you place the questionnaire on a petpage, but that is not required. It is just more convenient for the both of us if you placed everything on a petpage instead of sending 3+ neomails. ;)

Send the link to your application to veritie.
Include the name of the foster pet in the subject.

1. Name all of your accounts. Which is your main and which account will my foster pet go to?
2. Have you ever disowned or traded a neopet? If so, why?
3. Why this pet?
4. Tell me about yourself as a Neopets player.
5. Most importantly, what do you have in plan for this pet?
6. Name one of your pets as an example of how you will treat my foster pet.
7. Take the Pledge of Good Ownership.
8. Everything that I have written in this application is true and sincere. (YES/NO)
9. I promise never to trade or give away this neopet. If I can no longer take care of the pet, I promise to contact veritie. (YES/NO)

The Foster Pets

Once a foster goes through my adoption agency, they become super heroes! All of my fosters are blessed by a bottled faerie when they're placed up for adoption. ;D

Words of Advice

*** If you want to impress me, deck out your neopets' petlookups, petpages, layouts, etc. I'd prefer to see that kind of stuff rather than a whole petpage application dedicated to my foster pet. Seriously. :)

* My decisions weigh heavily upon what I see in your accounts (userlookup, petpages, galleries...)

* Of course, I will also base my decision on questionnaire answers.

* Items equipped to the neopet will not go with them to their new homes (unless otherwise stated).

* Be yourself. I hope to hear from you soon. :D
