Ogrins are currently sitting at 42nd on the popularity list and I feel they are rather underrated hence this petpage is dedicated to them! They are a shy, but very intelligent and inquisitive species who deserve more love :)

You trudge through the long dry grass of the savannah, each step taking more effort than the last. I need to find water! You think to yourself. If only you hadn't decided to go trekking by yourself and if only you hadn't misplaced your map at the last river. How were you supposed to know that not all kougra are friendly? You pause for a second as you hear a slight rustle over to your left, but dismiss it as nothing. Stepping forward, a feral cry rings out and you find yourself pinned to the ground by a huge creature. Fear courses through your body as the creature's eyes glitter dangerously and then grins, showing a neat row of sharp teeth and long canines. The teeth of a predator. This is it, you think, and you shut your eyes. To your surprise, low laughter rings out and the weight on your chest eases. Opening your eyes, you see the creature sitting on its haunches nearby and grinning widely. It is quite magnificent, with a deep brown coat marked by white stripes on its back, tan underbelly, four white stockings going past the knees and black stripes on its back legs. Looks kind of like an odd predatory antelope O_o .You pick yourself painfully off the ground and stare warily at the creature. Finally he speaks with a light, accented voice " I apologise human. I thought you were prey." He looks you over. "You're too lean anyway." A slow smile spreads over his face "You look as if you need some assistance. Why don't you come back to my tribe's camp and refresh yourself? And," He grins wickedly "You can get a map and get yourself oriented. Humans don't usually venture this way unless they're lost" Embarrassedly you follow him as he sets off at an easy gait through the grass, long tail held jauntily in the air.
Soon you arrive at a large campsite with twenty or so tents. The creature gestures at a large tree with wide-spreading branches, at which you drop gladly into the shade and savour the slight relief from the heat. The creature disappears into a large tent and returns moments later with a jug of cold water and slices of fruit which he places before you. As you tuck in, he begins to speak.
You have found yourself at the Aripaka tribe, of which I am the tribe's Shaman, Jiralai. We are a nomadic tribe of storytellers and traders who wander wherever our feet take us, though it is usually limited to the plains and jungle because we feel most at home here. Though don't get me wrong, we do travel through villages and towns, but we simply prefer to camp out here in the wilderness. In our travels we have visited places I'm sure you have never even heard of. But we will offer you hospitality for as long as you wish, for that is our way." He settles himself beside you in the shade and continues on. "Our tribe are principally storytellers, or bards, if that is what you wish to call us and we have strong mana, so much of our lives also revolve around the practise of magic." He glances at your confused expression "And no, we are not wizards, we do not use magic for our own ends or to summon evil creatures from other worlds. Our magic is softer...we use it to nurture, heal and grow natural things, or weave it within our stories to make it a magical experience. ou could say it is the magic of the earth. These are the two types of magic we possess, but most of the tribe only have one or the other. A few of us leave the tribe at times to wander the rest of the land to weave their stories and to gather new ones from other bards, but eventually they find their hearts yearning and their feet lead them back home.
When a storytelling takes place, our storytellers captivate the audiences and immerse them into wonderful faraway worlds. Believe me, you have never seen the like.
I as shaman am the chief storyteller and healer, and have the rare combination of all my people's magics. But nevertheless I do have a particular specialty, and that is weaving stories.He pauses. "Would you be willing to stay for tonight's telling?" You nod enthusiastically, curious to hear the stories. "Wonderful. In the meantime, enjoy yourself in the ways you see fit."

Makeables
You simply save the picture to your computer (Its currently in PNG or gif format, which you should probably change to BMP or something else)and open it in Microsoft Paint or any other graphics program. Then you colour it to suit you and taadaa!! Your own custom!! Then you can upload to your own image host and put it on your site or whatever. The last makable already has the shading and lighting done for you, you just need to change the colours. However, of course there are a few rules:
1) Please do NOT use these in the BC
2) Do not remove my name from the picture
3) You are allowed to remove the white background if you know how or the white outline, as well as move my name around if it gets in the way of editing.
4) It would be nice if you link the picture back to this page, so that it makes it easier for other people if they want one too!
5) Feel free to edit them as much as needed.

Orie is the the goalkeeper on the Brightvale Team in the Altador Cup. She has strong instincts, good hands, and is incredibly quick, but her one weakness is that she has low stamina and her performance weakens towards the end of match.

Rourke is the captain of the SS Primella who sailed Professor Fairweather and his team to the Lost Isle. A rather grumpy and unwilling character, he is courageous hardworking and had to repair his ship with Scrap's help to escape from the Isle.

How to draw an Ogrin!
Yes, that's right! Learn to draw an Ogrin! Why not xD
Taken straight from the neopets tutorial for your viewing pleasure- you can view the original tutorial here if you so wish!

Start by drawing a medium-sized lopsided circle for the Ogrin's head. To make the Ogrin's snout, add a smaller circle to the lower righthand side of the head shape.

A little below the head shape, draw a tilted oval, which will become the front half of the Ogrin's body. To finish off the body shape, make a lopsided circle that overlaps the oval you just drew. Together, the two shapes should almost form a heart. Next, connect the Ogrin's head to its body with a long, cylinder for its neck. Finally, below the body, draw three rounded shapes with flat bottoms for the Ogrin's feet.

Now connect the Ogrin's feet to its body by making pairs of lines that go from the body shape to its feet. The Ogrin's back leg should also have a little curved line at the top (for its haunch).

Give your Ogrin a pair of ears by adding two long loops to the top of its head. Also, include a mane of fur at the base of the Ogrin's neck.

Erase any extra lines, then start to give your Ogrin's face some detail by drawing an oval on the head shape for its right eye and its left eye should be smaller than the other one and can be formed by simply drawing a curved line near the edge of the head shape. Also, make a tiny indication of its fourth leg by adding a bent line underneath the body shape. Finally, add some fluffy tips to your Ogrin's ears, and draw its tail.

Give your Ogrin's face more detail by adding some fur to its cheeks and chin. Erase any lines that you don't need.

Create its distinctive markings by drawing some curved lines on your Ogrin's cheeks and around its eyes. Also, add a rounded line inside each of the Ogrin's eyes, so that it appears as though your Ogrin is looking up.

Your Ogrin's face could use a little more expression, so shade in its pupils (leaving behind a little white dot for the sparkle in its eyes) and give its fur a bit more texture. Then, draw two nostrils on the Ogrin's snout, as well as a little line above it, to better define the Ogrin's nose.

Separate your Ogrin's feet into three distinct toes. Next, draw a fin shape at the back of the Ogrin's head, which will form its crest of hair.

Add lots of texture to your Ogrin's fur, tail, ear tufts, hair, and mane. Also, draw a little curved line on the Ogrin's stomach for its markings.

Your Ogrin drawing is nearly done! Draw in some wedge shapes all over the Ogrin's legs and body, to create its stripy markings. Finally, erase all of your extra lines.

Give your Ogrin some depth and personality by shading and colouring it in. You can use anything you'd like, from coloured pencils to a computer program!
