Welcome!

Welcome to my Faerie Cloud Racers game guide! :D In this guide, I'll teach you how to travel to the top of the 'High Scores' list and show you some cool ways to get to the next level! :D So what are you waiting for? C'mon!

To play this game now, click here!

Getting Started: No Brainer! ;D

Ok, let's get this straight. The first part is pretty much common sense, but i'll add it just to make things clear. ;) Click here to go to the link for this game. If you, for some reason, refuse to click that link, you can click on Explore, Faerieland, and then Faerie Cloud Racers. Here is what you should get:

Your numbers should be a bit different than mine but it's okay. Click on 'Click to Play' and another page should have load. The game should be at it's main menu and the infamous Faerie Cloud Racers music should begin! ;D

To turn the ah-nnoying music off, just click this button:

Before I go on, I can't stress enough that you must read the instructions before you play the game. :) If you havn't read them yet--i'll make an exception because I'm going to repeat the rules anyway. ;)

1. Use the arrow keys to navigate your Faerie around Faerieland.
2. Avoid all walls, trees, houses, and the cloud trails of both racers.
3. The faster you beat your opponent, the more points you score.

***Note*** You will NOT be earning points in 2-player mode; if you are playing this mode, select 'Options' in the main menu to customise your controls. ;)

From here on, you may choose to play a 2-player game or a 1-player game. This guide will teach you how to play the 1-player game. Here are some major diferences between the two:

1. 1-player mode gives you neopoints but 2-player mode does not.
2. If you choose to do 2-player mose, the person must be with you (in real life) and willing to play with letters instead of arrows.
3. In 2-player mode, you go fast all the time--even at the beginning.

If you seriously did not understand the differences, neomail me here.

***NOTE***:If you are still reading this guide, I am assuming you clicked 1-player mode.

After you clicked on the '2-player Mode', you will get the same image as below:

Meeting your Opponents

You may pick any faerie you like--it doesn't mater. But let's first learn about our opponenets:

Ember the Fire Faerie
Ember, from the famous game of Gormball. She is very easy to beat; the only thing you need to do is make a box around her, and she's gone! :)

Taelia the Snow Faerie
Taelia isn't the easiest opponent but she's definitely not the hardest. Be careful when you're trying to trap her--it may bounce back and trap you.

Illusion the Earth Faerie
In my opinion, Illusion is a reckless driver. :) She is a pretty easy opponent. Sometimes, she even gets trapped in her own traps so passing her level is very easy.

The Water Faerie
By the time you get to her level, you find that there are millions of obstacles getting in the way. Beating her is easy; it's just the obstacles so be careful.

The Tooth Faerie
Her stragety is the same as Illusions. Boxing her up will work just fine. =)

The Dark Faerie
IMPORTANT-this is a MUST KNOW for all who chat on boards and for people who do quests-
The Dark Faerie is NOT Jhudora. Just to let you know incase you embarass yourself in front of people on the boards. ;)
The Dark Faerie's level gets hard. In her level, you'll notice that you go much faster although there are alot less obstacles in this level to make up for it.

The Space Faerie
The Space Faerie is just like the Dark Faerie. Try to trap her and you'll be fine. :)

The Light Faerie
I advise you to use the same technique that you would use for the Space and Dark Faerie.

Fyora the Faerie Queen
She is the same as the Light and Space Faerie--nothing big. Only difference about her is that you cannot pick her to be your faerie. :)

Now that you've read about who who are racing against, their strengths and their weaknesses, it's time to finally play the game!! :)

GamePlan: #1 OR #2?
There are two major ways on beating your opponent. It really depends on who you are against when you are picking which tecnique you should choose. Here they are:

Technique #1: Trapping!
Yes, this tecnique is all about trapping your opponent! To do this, you must circle your opponent's clouds along with her. Here is an example:

After that, I 'minded my own business' until she couldn't find any more space to travel. Before you go on say, "HUH?? WTH?! WUT DOES that MEANZ?? DX", you may want to read my next statement: 'Minding your own business' just means you stayed out of your opponents path and stood clear of the obstacles. :) If you seriously did not understand this part, neomail me here. I'm always available! ^^

Tecnique #2: Just stand clear!
Yup! It's all in the name! This tecnique is basically telling you to 'stand clear' of the other faerie. Just avoid her with a 'ring' and maby even 'saving space'. I know what you're thinking...you are thinking (?) but here are the definitions of these overly suffistocated words:
Ring: A barrior that you put around all of Faerieland. Just glide your racer around Faerieland and you're done.

Saving Space: A tecnique you use to make to make 'time fly by' where every single cloud sort of touches each other.

Please read! The whole point of this game is to trap the other faerie as soon as possible so if you are aiming for getting POINTS instead of just finishing the game, then don't go around using this technique. :)
Still don't get me? Look below!

Alrighty! Now that you know your opponents AND the tecniques, lets put them TOGETHER! :) So here's what i'll do. For every faerie, I will tell you which tecnique is best for it. Of cource you may use whatever you like but these may be recommended!

Faerie Tecnique
Ember the Fire Faerie 1
Taelia the Snow Faerie 2
Illusen the Earth Faerie 1
The Water Faerie 1
The Tooth Faerie 1
The Dark Faerie *2
The Space Faerie *2
The Light Faerie 2
Fyora the Faerie Queen 2

*2: Tecnique 2 is recommended but you may also want to try tecnigue 1!

Cheats?

As you all know (hopefully), cheating is 100% against the rules. There is simply NO cheating on Neobut although you may use certain codes to enhance your neopets experience. ;)

There is one code you can use to erase all the obstacles. You may use it only once per game. The code is faerie. Just type it in while you are playing the game and the level will restart for you. Note that not only does this make it easy for you, it also makes it easy for your opponent so be wise! ^^

AND THIS IS IT!!

You are done with the guide! :) All's you need to do is try the game and make it to the charts! Please send me questions, comments, feedback, ratings, etc. here. I would LOVE to hear from you! Please do send me a neomail. On your way out, why not pick up a button? Thankyou for reading!! ^^ Seeya later, guest!
