Lab Ray Only Colors

Secret Laboratory Map
The SLM consists of 9 pieces that you must collect in order to visit the derranged Scorchio in the Secret Lab.
Then, and only then, can you zap a pet of your choosing once each day to get a random color, species or status change.

Fountain Faerie Quest (FFQ)
The Fountain Faerie can be found at the Rainbow Fountain in Faerieland. She will paint one pet for you *most colors* if you complete one of her quests for her.
She will give you a quest randomly and will wait for her requested item for as long as it takes you to get it. (So don't panic if you don't have the neopoints for the item, just save.) She will also wait for you to decide who you wanted painted what.
*Note* The pet she will paint has to be your current, active pet when you visit the fountain. You can always change your active pet before you go, just remember to do so if you want to paint another pet.
Colors she will NOT paint your pet:
MSP
Royal
Ice
Sponge
Usuki
Quiguki
Robot

Random Events
Boochi (A baby Bruce) may appear and fire his ray gun at your active pet. If he doesn't miss (as he does sometimes) your active will be turned into a baby.

If your pet is sad for too long he/she might turn blue.

If your pet is angry for too long he/she might turn red.

If your pet is feeling... neglected maybe? he/she might turn invisible.

A random waterfall can come from the sky and drench your pet. He/she will be turned a random color.

It has been said that feeding your pet glowing jelly may change it's color to glowing in a random event...

Feeding your Chia Chocolate food may turn your pet chocolate.

Garlic Chias or Kikos might be creatable by feeding it lots of garlic foods.

Flask of Rainbow Fountain Water
This is a rather expensive item that can be pulled out on rare occasion by neopets very skilled in fishing at the Underwater Fishing Cavern.

Neggs
There are a few neggs that will affect your pet's color:

Kaleideonegg
~80K
When fed, this item acts like the Lab Ray on your pet (i.e., it can increase/decrease stats, change your pets color/species, etc.).


Plaid Negg
~185K
When fed, this item will raise the level of a random ability your pet has or it will change the color of your pet.


Vortex Negg
~25K
When fed, this item may change your pet's color to Red, Yellow, Blue, or Green. Or it could give your pet Neggitus.


Witchy Negg
~75K
When fed, this item may change your pet's gender, turn your pet into a Lenny, Tuskaninny, or Moehog, increase your pet's intelligence, raise hit points, or cure your pet of any disease.


Mysterious Swirly Potion

~1.2 MIL
This item will turn your active pet into a random limited edition pet. One use only.
Your pet can fish this item up in the Underwater Fishing Cavern.
