Sunny was the leader for a few months, but then she got busy with real life. She decided to take some time away from neo, so she passed the leadership down to a girl named Small (small_town). Small didn't even ask for the leadership, and she didn't want it. To solve this, Sunny decided to become leader again on her side account and stick with neo for a while. On this account she was known as Sky.
Sky was also leader for a few months, but then she shocked the whole guild with a message. She said that she was going to quit neopets and delete the guild. This obviously caused a lot of chaos. A lot of members protested, including a girl named Kristina (xx_dreamless). Kristina even offered to take over the guild, because she didn't want to see it get deleted.
The next day, when Kristina came to neopets, she was shocked (and very excited) to see that she was the new leader. When she became leader, she changed a lot in TNP, but she kept the basic principle the same: to have a guild where anyone and everyone is welcome and important.
Kristina picked dedicated members to be on council. Sammie (sammie_angel7), Duke (dkelloydtrickyspeed1), and Elle (glass_tapir) helped keep the guild running. They eventually stopped coming on neo, but their initial efforts helped the guild immensely.
Things were going fine for about a year, but there was one point when the guild was very inactive. Kristina became lazy and didn't update things. The member count dwindled to a scary low, and the boards became deserted. The state of TNP became uncertain; people were worried.But things changed when a girl named Tuyen (tuyen_henry) motivated Kristina. Together they worked to bring TNP back to its days of glory. Tuyen became Kristina's "right hand woman" and, along with the new council members, JJ (jjcoolio22), Lea (jeraffeneck), and Tokyo (tokyopop111), they got the guild up and running and better than ever before.
The next few months were great. TNP got a bunch of new, active members, and things continued to run smoothly. It was hard to believe that we were so inactive only months before. Then the unthinkable happened; someone stole all of our guild's content, including the webbie layout, activities, and our rules. People were joining the guild to "spy" on the message boards, so Kristina made the guild private. It was initially going to be temporary, but after much thinking and input from members, Kristina decided to keep the guild private.
Around June, Tuyen decided to quit neo. However, she didn't want to leave Kristina without a council, so with the help of Beni (benideti), a member of the guild, they came up with the idea to host A Shot at Council with TNP, where interested members had the opportunity to become a part of council. ASACWTNP tested members' creativity and problem-solving skills, and in August, after two months of hard work, Emily (scorpkeep23) and Kayla (kaylabean44) were declared the winners.
All was well until Kristina got frozen yet again on September 24. She made a new account, and learned her lesson about those pesky offsite links. Then Kayla sadly lost internet access, and wasn't able to come online_ However, TNP continued to thrive.
Since Kayla still didn't have internet back, Emily and Kristina were forced to remove her from council. They hated doing it, and could only hope that Kayla would return someday.
Later on, Rebecca (rebegurl700) became TNP's third council member. Together, Kristina, Emily, and Rebecca drove the guild toward success. With a Family Picnic during the summer, TNP continued to bring in amazing new members and was a place for everyone to enjoy.
In October, TNP celebrated Halloween with another plot, The Haunting at Paradise Island. The night before Halloween, your childhood friend, Freddie, disappeared! Talking to the creatures of Haunted Woods, your mission was to discover who had taken Freddie and to save him before it was too late.
Year five started out with the 2nd annual 28 Days of TNP competition. This year's competition had a little less hype than the previous year's, but it was exciting nonetheless. Team Island proved their awesomeness and became the champions, with Paradise and Tropical coming in second and third.In May, TNP had an event called May Mayhem. With daily activities, there was something for everyone to participate in. The main event, Referapalooza, resulted in many new awesome members joining the guild.
The guild continued to thrive, and during the summer, TNP had its 2nd annual Family Picnic. Unfortunately, during this time, Neopets was redoing the filters for petpage coding, and after the first day of the Picnic, petpages were no longer able to be edited. The Picnic couldn't be stopped though, and Kristina decided to host it on her userlookup. Because of this disorganization, the Picnic wasn't as successful as the previous year's, but was a fun time nonetheless.
Following hot on the heels of January's excitement came February's posting competition. Bekah (i_love_bengals) won this by a landslide, clocking in more than 3500 posts, but everyone had a good time putting their excessive chattiness to a good cause for once.
March brought the introduction of the Alphabet Soup race, a grueling race to 2.92 billion Neopoints. Finding it's origins in a conversation between several members who decided that'd it'd be brilliant if one could earn 1 million NP in interest every day, this race is always open to new members, no matter their current NP count. Totals in that first most ranged from the high 4 millions with Kristina to the astronomically high figure of -353,000 NP with Kate (partigirl2), and many speculate that this race will continue well into some of our member's retirements.
April also began on a high note, bringing us the first issue of the Paradisaical Post. Edited and hosted by Bekah, the first edition featured a variety of articles ranging from interviews by Kayla (santaclauseisfat) and self-help guides by Dani (monkeys_lover_95) to a book review by Kate. Another notable feature of this month was the return of Colby the Panda, TNP's fourth official mascot.
In August, TNP had its 3rd annual Family Picnic. Over the span of two weeks, members had many summer-themed activities, challenges, and events to participate in.
In September and October, TNP had it's second ever competition where members had the chance to earn a position on council, A Shot at Council with TNP (ASACWTNP). Presenting members with various scenarios, as well as testing their leadership skills and creativity, this competition was very successful. As a result, Mojo (mojoschweni), Stefani (sillyblondegirl17), and Travis (travis630977) became TNP's newest council members. This is the first time TNP has had a full council in over 4 years; with its new-found council, TNP will continue to strive towards excellence.
The Neopian's Paradise has experienced a lot of ups and downs, yet we always come out stronger in the end. Our story is never certain, for things can always change. For this game, the host posts with an avatar. Then all of the players have to post with the same avatar as the host. You post in the format of how many avatars you have out of how many were posted. Example: You had two out of the three avatars that the host posted. You would post 2/3. After 10 rounds, who ever had the most avatars wins!
Two Truths & a Lie
This game is fairly simple. One person posts three statements about them. Two of the statements are true, and one is a lie. Everyone else has to try to figure out what statement is the lie. Whoever guesses the lie correctly first gets to post three statements of their own. This is a nice way to know more about your fellow guild members. ;)
Hide & Seek
Ready or not, here I come!" For this game, one person will choose a place to hide, and give one clue leading to that place (such as "It's always warm here"). The other players then have to guess where the person is hidden. More clues can be given out if no one guesses. Whoever guesses first gets to hide next. ^^
The Letter Game
One person will post a series of letters, such as TGIA. Everyone else will then create a sentence out of the letters, such as This Game Is Amazing. Be creative. xD
La La Lyrics
This game is pretty self-explanatory. The host will post some lyrics to a song. The first person to guess correctly what song it is wins, and gets to be the new host.

About: I got my first Neopets account when I was 11, played for forever and then promptly forgot about it. I tried to go back to it but I forgot my information! So here I am starting over. I spend a lot of my day on the computer, between watching TV shows & movies on Netflix to working on projects (I'm a Graphic Design majors!). I love food, but I wish I was good at cooking. I am a decent baker, and since I love sweets/desserts it works out great!
