Greetings guest and welcome to the converted pet images resource. On April 27th 2007 Neopets underwent a huge transformation. Along with the site update most pets were transformed as well. To date the rainbow pool has not bee updated with the new images. People wanting to paint their pets started looking for examples of the new images. That is why I made this page! Here is my guide to every painted pet in Neopia. The links above will help guide you on your quest for your next dream pet.
To View a larger more detailed image, right click on the desired image and select "copy image location." Paste into the url section of your web browser, it should look something like this:
http://pets.neopets.com/cp/4gwtbr6w/1/2.png
At the end of the URL where it says /1/2.png, change the 2 to a 4 and view the image. This will give you the 300x300 image :)

Painting
There are many ways to transform your pet. One of the most popular ways is to paint your pet. Paint brushes are rare one use items that will change your pet to a desired color if it is available for the species. You can get paint brushes from random events, World Challenge Maps, the Alien Vending Machine or certain site events like getting into the Art Gallery. It is usually random which brush you will receive. A list of brushes can be found here. Once you have acquired your paint brush you can take it here and select which pet you want painted. Viola you now have a painted pet!
Paint brush Clothing and Multi Painting
Now here is where painting gets fun! Some paint brush colors have clothing. Colors like pirate, zombie, and Christmas are some examples. Once you paint your pet one of these colors you can remove them from your pet and even put them on other pets of the same species. With customization came the ability to multi paint your pet. For example if you have a draik and paint them desert if you then paint them royal you can put the desert clothing on your royal draik!
