DARK AGE

Walking though the shadows, you wonder what happened in this deep dark place. It seems almost haunted and completely void of life. Did anyone live here? Could someone possibly? It doesn't look that way. Impossible. The trees are all brittle and dry, there isn't even any moss on the ground. You take out your pencil and scribble some lines in your note book. This place could be wonderful, you could make it wonderful again.

From behind a mound of crumbling dry earth someone is watching, something is watching. But your too busy with your GPS to notice. You found the perfect place to build the biggest amuse-ment park in the world. Your going to be famous. What else could possibly matter? That's right, nothing. The shadowy form slinks around to get a better view, it makes no sound as it creeps in closer and watches. He is so still, you could barley hear him breathing, if you were listening of course, which you are not. As you put all your tools away you get the creepy feeling something is behind you, a chill runs up your spine and you dart a quick look behind. There's nothing there. It must have been your imagination again. This place is pretty creepy. As you walk away, you don't notice the shining yellow eyes watching you from the shadows...

WATCHES YOU

Alias: Jairku
Species: Forest Guardian
Age: unknown
Gender: Male

Role: texty texty

Special Talents: Jairku is a camouflage and stealth mastermind. He can get within a foot of someone without them even noticing. He is also excellent at making plants and flowers grow simply by willing them to, however this requires a significant amount of energy.

Previous Occupations: Before the forest died, Jairku was one of it's primary guardians. After the fires, the other guardians moved on or died and Jairku stayed behind to tend to the forest that had been his home for hundreds of years. Because he is alone, it is taking him a long time to regenerate it and he is constantly exhausted and unable to continue. Slowly, it is soaking the life out of him.

Motives: His natural love of nature and instinctual belief in it's power, Jairku is fueled by a desire to serve his creator, mother nature. He will stop at nothing to save his forest, even if it should cost him dearly.

Personality: Jairku is calm and thoughtful. He is slow to act, and thinks everything over twice. His every move and gesture is carefully calculated. He isn't social by any means, but cares greatly about the little creatures that live around him and will do everything to protect them. He is naturally gentle and considerate in all his actions. Very slow to anger, but quick to sadden.

Brief History: Chosen and created by mother nature herself, Jairku has been around for centuries. He has seen the evolution of the world in all it's forms and has always done as asked. When man appeared in his part of the world and started destroying the animals and habitats, he struggled to keep the peace in vain. With the disappearance of the other three guardians and most of the forest fauna, Jairku roams the empty and burnt remains of his homeland trying to regenerate it one plant at a time.

LOST IN TIME

Of course this is the right place¸ you declare matter-of-factly to your superiors. Think of the potential of this place! It's naturally spooky, and we can easily clear everything away. The group nod and you turn to walk away with them. Everything is going as planned, in a few months only, the biggest construction of the year will begin. Grinning from ear to ear you trot along after your bosses. But you notice something they didn't as you move along, there, laying in the dirt, is a single rose.

You bend to pick it up and wonder how it could of got here, noting grows for miles around. Someone must of placed it on purpose... you mind wanders to those silly nature-activists, but who would want to save a lifeless burn forest? No one comes to mind, and you try to brush away the uncanny feeling that there is something in this forest that might not think like you. You put the rose in your pocket, shake your head and head to your car. If someone was there, they would just have to leave.

It's exactly a month later and the bulldozers are in place. Nothing is missing, everything is going according to plan. At last your project is underway, and you can't help but feel a swell of pride. After all, you are turning this vast land of nothing into a place that will become famous. Maybe you'll get famous yourself for coming up with the idea. Glowing with happiness and satisfaction you put on your hard hat and give the "OK" for the work to start, and withing seconds, the air is humming with the sound of heavy machinery motors.

and I'm saying good-bye

DIAMONSINTHESKY

Creature, creature in the night,
Do pray tell me... who is right?

Being a creature of the woods, Jairku has many friends in the forest, hence, many adoptable species sets as well. Only three as of yet, but more are on the way!

Feel free to take home an adoptable, or two, or three! Please don't take other people's customs, claim as your own or use in the BC. That would be rude.
Trades and Requests are CLOSED at this time.

WIND SINGS

Imaginary - Evanescence

I linger in the doorway
Of alarm clock screaming monsters calling my name
Let me stay where the wind will whisper to me
Where the raindrops as they're falling tell a story

In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullaby
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple sky fly over me

Don't say I'm out of touch
With this rampant chaos, your reality
I know well what lies beyond my sleeping refuge
The nightmare I built my own world to escape

In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullaby
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple sky fly over me

Swallowed up in the sound of my screaming
Cannot cease for the fear of silent nights
Oh, how I long for the deep sleep dreaming
The Goddess of imaginary light

In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullaby
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple sky fly over me
