Whoa, new layout! Also new is this lovely update box, which serves the sole purpose of taking up space on my page.

The Haunted Woods is where this story takes place, because it is the only forest in which runaway spells and eldritch castles are commonplace.
Here we find an eerie old castle ruled by a Wocky named Yuanaan. His kingdom includes the castle and about three yards around it in every direction but north.
Due to an ancient curse, the castle is always on the brink of destroying Neopia as we know it. This curse also brings us to our destination, the library.
If you're quite quiet,
You'll hear the flapping pages
Of the unread books.
Jackovy stood staring at the tree. It wasn't a remarkable tree by most standards, but what struck Jack was how it was thriving deep in the library, branches twisted around bookshelves and roots buried in the mosiac floor.
This couldn't be a normal tree, a normal tree needed a sun above and soil below for it to live.
Jack snapped his fingers.
A few pages ruffled on the shelves around him and a second later three books fluttered from the passage to Jack's left and one decended from somewhere above him. The books hovered as Jack read the titles.
."Hmm, A Gnome's Guide to Gardening. Nope."
A Gnome's Guide to Gardening flew back to its shelf like a paper Pteri.
.Magical Trees of Neopia. That's it!" Exclaimed Jack. He made his selection and began to thumb through it. The other book flew to its roost.
."Wow, this book's got them all!" Said Jack, no no one in particular. "The Brain Tree, the Money Tree... aha! the Library Tree.
.Library trees are a very rare form of tree. They can only survive in places with an enormous concentration of magic. The only known place where such has been found is in magical libraries. Cool!"
A flock of books soared high over Jack. The flurry of flapping pages interruped Jack's reading. He frowned. In the less popular areas of the library many books became bored from waiting to be read and flew around untamed. Still, Jack expected them to be more respectful when he was around.
Jack continued reading. The trees can even be made sentient, but only the library's keeper, or librarian knows how. Jack's eyebrow twitched and he shook his head. "No way." He laughed.
Jack paused. He raised his right arm over his head and mumbled something. Nothing happened for several moments, then the floor exploded.
Tree roots burst from beneath the tiled floor and wrapped around nearby shelves. Jack grabbed hold of a root as it rose into the air. "Yes way!"
The root stopped ascending and held Jack level with some of the lower branches.
.Hi. Jack squeaked.
The tree creaked and shifted.
."Er, hi!" Said Jack, a bit louder.
The tree bent over towards Jack like it was saying, "speak up."
."SO!" Yelled Jack, "YOU'RE SENTINT NOW, RIGHT?!"
The tree nodded it's branches.
."COOL! HEY, CAN YOU MOVE, LIKE WALKING?"
As a response, the tree pulled the remainder of it's roots from the floor and began a lurching walk, looking like a mutant Jetsam.
."FASTER! FASTER!" Shouted Jack.
The tree tore through the library like a hyper Neucloop, ripping up the floor and scattering it's tiles.
A Whoot sat on a short stack of books and watched the Zafara librarian making a fool of himself.
Oh well, it thought, he has all the time in the world to learn...

Jack has been four different colors and each one represents a different part of his personality.
Blue: Blue was the color he was created as. The blue represents Jack's happy crazy mood. While his painted color might not be blue anymore, that's still who he is deep down and who he will always be.
Christmas: Jack was painted christmas for a shorter time than any of his other colors. The christmas color represents Jack's sanity. This facet is normally bugged into silence by the blue persona.
Halloween: Jack was painted halloween for a very long time, and this color was where his design came from. This represents the "cool" Jackovy. Unfortunately, Jack doesn't know the meaning of "cool."
Royal: Jack's current color is royal, so that's what you first look at him. This represents the polite and obedient Jackovy. Remember that no matter how sophisticated Jack's royal coloring may be, that's just the surface.
So those are Jack's paint brush colors. In the monotony of working in the library as well as it being a library rule not to be too loud and unruly, Jack's blue personality has gotten a bit bored, giving the other personas a chance to be seen.
In a small castle in Brightvale a blue Zafara named Jackovy lived with his family, a mother, a father and a sister.
But Jackovy didn't like the castle, he was attracted to the life of a theif.
Once every few weeks he would mysteriouly dissapear for a day or so. He would turn up later in his room or something normal like that, he'd act like nothing happened.
Jackovy liked theiving. He had never liked being waited on, he would rather be a servant himself than be served as if he were a king.
Then Jackovy had tried to rob Yuanaan's Castle. He was caught by a blue Ruki named Silence who told him that he had better pay several times the worth of what he stole, or work in the castle to pay off his debt.
Though Jackovy stole things frequently, they were all trinkets and baubles. This was the first time he'd tried for something worth a lot.
So Jackovy became a servant in Yuanaan's Castle, and he soon knew that there was only one other, a JubJub named Seahorse. Silence the Ruki was the castle cook. There was no one to rule the castle.
A few months later, though, another servant was hired. It was an Eyrie named Netonbiti VII. Jackovy recognized her, it was his sister!
Jackovy learned that his sister had come looking for him after he had vanished for such a long time. She had been worried.
Unfortunately the castle was getting poorer. There was no money coming in, as there was no ruler of the castle. Though the only thing that was bought was food, it still cost neopoints.
Silence informed the little group of servants that she was going to go find a ruler for the castle. They would have to find their own food untill she came back.
It was only a few hours that she returned with a Wocky. The Wocky had no name, so the castle residents gathered to decide a name for him. Because the castle was called "Yuanaan's Castle", they named the Wocky Yuanaan.
When Yuanaan started working, he decided that there weren't enough servants. He hired two siblings, a Kacheek and a Poogle, then decided that was enough.
The Poogle was kidnapped by Dr. Sloth one day and the Kacheek was evil.
The Kacheek chose Jackovy to be her test subject in the laboratory she built in the castle basement. After a certain expirement in which the Kacheek tried to get Jackovy to switch minds with annother pet Jackovy went a little loopy.
Later Jackovy tried some random potions created by the Kacheek. They ended up turning him half skeleton and gave him wings.
When the Kacheek took all the books from the library, Jack helped move the books back.
Jackovy was then chosen to become the librarian and he learned that this was a strange magical library which shifted from doorway to doorway in the castle. Any doorway could lead to the library, but only if you weren't looking for it.

I allow anyone to edit my adoptables because some people would like a custom adoptie but don't have any adoptable to trade, and others just like makables.
There are other reasons of course, the main one being that I don't have the time to make custom adoptables for everyone who wants one. I hope that makes sense.
Adoptables are art; don't just skip this section. Look at these and remember that no matter how small they are, these took creativity and talent to make.
