It's dangerous to get lost in these woods," he says. "Trees and creatures roam the night, and they can swallow the unwary. It's no accident that so many legends and myths surround this place; in fact, I was reading about one just now. Would you like to hear about it?

Neovia
This appears to be an abandoned, decaying town. How mysterious.
A burned-out shell of a house. Strangely, it's the only such house in Neovia. All the others seem to be intact, if a bit decrepit.
You search, but find nothing...
...except a slightly charred locket. Unfortunately, the picture within has burned away.

Gilly
Excuse me, I was wondering if you could tell me anything about this locket. |
Lyanka
Why, certainly, little miss... Well, what a pretty little trinket this is. I haven't seen one like it in years. |
 |
 |
Gilly
I realize this is unlikely, but do you perhaps know anything about its owner? |
Lyanka
I couldn't say. They used to make a lot of lockets like that, but these days... |
 |
 |
Gilly
Thanks for your time. |

|
 |
Gilly
Pardon me, but could you tell me anything about this locket I found? |
Leeroy
Amazing! I haven't seen such metalwork in, oh, must be ten years. Where did you say you found it? |
 |
 |
Gilly
A town called Neovia. |
Leeroy
. . . |
 |
 |
Gilly
What? |
Leeroy
Nothing, nothing. Move on, I've got business to manage here! |
 |

 |
Gilly
I'm sorry to interrupt, but would you take a look at this locket for me? |
Sssidney
That piece of junk? It looks like a hundred other lockets I've seen. |
 |
 |
Gilly
Do you have any idea who might have owned it? |
Sssidney
How would I know? Get lost. |
 |
 |
Gilly
Uh... okay then. |
|
|
|
 |
Gilly
Do you think you could spare a moment to examine this locket? |
Harker
It looks familiar... where did you get it? I know someone who'd pay a thousand Neopoints for that locket, though. At least, I used to. Haven't seen her in ages. |
 |
 |
Gilly
I found it in the ruins of a town called Neovia. |
Harker
Neovia? That place has been deserted for ages. No one from Neovia's been through here in a long time, though. |

Gilly
Well, it's clear no one around here is going to help me. I wonder if there might be someone deeper in the woods who could identify this locket. |

Meanwhile, Bruno the gelert and eldest son, was talking to Lily the Aisha. And than he had an occurence with an enemy - Oscar the kougra, who was of course a lot stronger than him. The encounter left him hurt, with a loss self-esteem and coinfidence...
As he walked back, he met a strange krawk, who strangely offered him an elixir, supposedly proven to chase away all sorrows and fulfil all desires. Whatever you want in life, it will grant. Hesitant at first, but soon accepted it and brought it home straight away...
That night Bruno drank every last drop of the potion, desperate to lose his troubles. The next morning, he discovered that everything he wishes for, had indeed came true. Happy, he told the good fortune to his father, who did not believe it at first...
Edmund later met with the same krawk, who told the same speech as he did with Bruno and handed him an elixir as well. Lack of restrain of hope and longing, he accepted it. With his current troubles, he decided he had nothing to lose...
The next couple days seemed hopeful as it seemed his son did not lie and the potion worked! His financial troubles were gone. He eagerly spread word of this magical elixir around town, with both his sons(Reginald wished for knowledge) to back up him. Townspeople all around, lined up to drink this potion, thought that all their wishes would be granted overnight, and it seemed true... at first.
