How do you find the greatest gardens in Neopia? You ask the gnomes, of course! After all, it's been said that a gnome knows when a garden has that extra special something to make it truly great. After months of interviewing gnomes and learning of their favorite gardens, I've put together this list of wonderful gardens. [A note on the selection]. I hope it provides help and inspiration to other gardeners and fans of neogardens. To make it easier to use, the gardens have been sorted into more or less arbitrary categories based on theme or type. Please note that gardens might not load properly the first time. If the garden looks messed up, try refreshing once or twice until it loads properly. These gardens are here to provide entertainment and inspiration. Be aware of the line between inspiration and imitation and DO NOT copy them (in whole or in part) without asking permission from their creators. Most neohomers are fine as long as you make something your own by changing up key details or incorporating an element in a new or different way, but it really is better to ask first. A note about garden selection: Gardens were chosen because they were exemplary in some way. Although this page does prominently feature many of the usual suspects and my own guildmates, my intention when making it was to spotlight as many great gardens as I could find, particularly those that are off the beaten path. I went through over three hundred neohomes looking for gardens to spotlight. This guide currently features over 100 gardens by more than 50 different neohomers. I am delighted that I found a ton of fantastic gardens that I'd never seen before, and happy to point people in the direction of some of my old favorites. Some gardeners are more represented than others; some people just have a green thumb or are more prolific. This is the way I thought about it: would I have picked the garden if it was by someone who didn't already have several gardens spotlighted? If the answer was "yes," then the garden stayed in. Finally, if you know of a great garden that I've missed, feel free to point me in the direction of it. I'm always looking to find more awesome gardens - but, since tastes have been known to differ, understand that I reserve the right not to like it as much as you do. (And, as I'm the one who has to do all the coding, I get final say.) And, yes, there are four of my gardens in here. The short explanation is that some lovely people ganged up on me and I promised I'd add in the top couple of gardens they picked of mine. I've kept my word, so sooner or later they should (theoretically) stop squidding me.
