TXF FAQ

General Questions

--[Q: Is there a limit to how many characters I can have? o-o?
--[A: Nope! There's a limit to having 20 Neopets since you can only have five accounts, but you can also have non-created characters--NCC--so there really isn't any limit.

--[Q: Are there certain times people RP, or can we RP whenever?
--[A: You can do an RP at any time on the guild board, as long as three or more people are going to participate. Otherwise, take it to Neomail. Also, although you can ask to start an RP at anytime, don't keep asking over and over and over again within the same hour, or just plain out whine and beg for an RP. It'll make you seem n00bish, and gets really annoying. Also, this rule should apply for the Oekaki. Don't beg someone with a cool charrie to RP just because they're cool, or pester them and flip out. Ask nicely if they'd like to roleplay, because they may very well be busy with other stuff.

--[Q: Is the Kaki limited to Xweetok only? The guild boards? The RP boards?
--[A: Only Xweetoks are able to see the forest and interact inside of it. It has a magical power that makes non-Xweetok creatures walk endlessly in circles and disables them from seeing anything. We'd prefer that you keep the Kaki Xweetok only, NO ANIME please. There are plenty of Kakis dedicated to those.

--[Q: Does TXF have a major plot? What is it?
--[A: Currently there is a plot going on, the Sinister plot. There is to be an information page about it.

--[Q: How do I join a plot?
--[A: Every plot is different, as are the rules. Generally, the owner of the plot will make a post on the Oekaki, or somewhere everyone can view to announce the opening of a plot and its rules. If they haven't opened the plot, or asked for people to join, don't beg to join or anything like that. It's rather annoying, and - similar to the roleplay - people will begin to like you less. If someone mentions an idea that you want to be part of, kindly ask them - and it's best if it's done in private - if you could be a part. =)

--[Q: Meep! Some random spazzy person at the guild scared me! Help?
--[A: Don't worry, none of our members bite, promise! You don't have to be scared or worried. You'll learn to be just like us one day...One of us...ONE OF US! @w@

--[Q: Can I request art?
--[A: From whom? Requesting art is against no rules, but be sure to fully read through the rules/availability of the artist you're interested in before even opening up the Neomail link. Many of our members are often up for art trades, especially for specific events, or often offer art as prizes for help with designs/concepts/coding, anything you can really think of, though few are open for flat out requests. Remember, when in doubt, ask the person face to face. Our members don't bite. And, if they do, then just back off. Don't make a huge deal out of it.

--[Q: Can I invite a friend?
--[A: Sorry, but you can't just invite a friend even if you say they're nice and worthy of being here and stuff. They'll have to go through the application process just like you did.

--[Q: Can I invite my side account?
--[A: If you ask one of the council/admins nicely, they can invite your side account. Invites are staff only privledge. =)

--[Q: What's the history behind TXF?
--[A: I'm a pretty old member myself, but I'll have to wait until I can get a hold of the leader.

--[Q: Who started it?
--[A: Mew is the person who started TXF.

--[Q: What is okay to post?
--[A: We ask that you do not post anything vulgar or inappropriate. If you had a bad day, feel free to tell us, but please refrain from cursing on the guild boards, since it is against Neo terms.

--[Q: Any rules about mates?
--[A: Uh, not really. Don't say that your pets' mate is another Xweetok, however, unless the owner of the other says so. If your Xweetok has a crush, it's fine, just don't put 'So-and-so is my pet's mate!' without the other owner knowing or having a say. We also ask that you DO NOT PERFORM marriages in the guild, as it could get the whole guild shut down, and the council's accounts frozen.

--[Q: About kits?
--[A: This is your choice if you Xweetok has children or not, just... please do not RP it happening on the guild boards, take it over either O-mail or the RP boards, as I'm pretty sure you'd get iced for RPing that kind of thing.

--[Q: Can we have Xweetok hybrids in the forest?
--[A: Yes, this is fine. We just ask that they are more Xweetok or even amount Xweetok, not per say a Cybunny with just a Xweetok tail.

--[Q: How do you become Staff/Council?
--[A: Staff is a special position appointed by Mew, the guild leader. It is not obtained by the number of posts like the other statuses are. Council is also chosen by Mew, the Valters and Valteras of the forest who control basically everything and everyone except Gracie, the overall leader of the whole forest.

--[Q: Can we ask Mew to become Staff/Council?
--[A: Please do not. Staff is specially picked by Mew, and she'll give it to you if she thinks you deserve it. As for council, do not ask for that either, especially if we have all the council members we need.

--[Q: Can my Xweetok be a Valter/Valtera without my being council?
--[A: The only way to be have a Valter/Valtera without being council is to have a mate to one of the people who are council. There are is only one Valter and only one Valtera to every Clan Stone, so do not ask. Do not run to the council members, either, and ask to have them be mates with your pet so you can obtain this status.

--[Q: If I am on the Oekaki and active, does it give me an advantage in joining the guild? -or- If I am on the Kaki, am I automatically permitted in TXF?
--[A: No. The Oekaki cannot be set to private, but the guild can and is. We are a literate RP guild who is selective in its members, and being on the Kaki does not give you any type of advantage in getting in.

Oekaki Questions

--[Q: Can I join only the Oekaki?
--[A: Sure! You don't need to make an application to join the Kaki; heck, not even everybody there is in the guild. It's a lot less strict for members there, though you still have to be literate and stuff there just like at the guild.

--[Q: What does Kaki stand for?
--[A: Kaki stands for "Oekaki." It's a place where you can draw, get comments on your art, and also comment on other's art. ^^ Please note, don't go to the Oekaki and just post 'no crits no crits' on everything. We're all privledged to have each other to learn from, and progress our artistic talents. And, if someone mentions something you should change in the way you work your anatomy, at least make an effort to try it. You never know, it could help you out a lot.

About Isni

Shiloh's Xweetoks

Luna is a pretty Xweetok, and a Light Destroyer as well. She's moderately distrustful of others, but with past events and tragedies, she has her reasons to be. There are only three that she trusts, and they are Sieo, her lifelong best friend, Ras, her one and only, and Jhay, a good friend of her's.

Aeli has had a major turnaround in her attitude in her time in the forest. Once a cold, solitary Xweetok, now an outgoing, more showoff Xwee. One thing about her hasn't changed though: She still is extremely protective and respectful of nature.

Jhayliah was created after losing to an application for the original Faerie Xweetok, Jhaylia. Too upset to let her go like that, she was remade into a new Xweetok who has made a few accomplishments of her own. She used to be a spy until she lost her headset- her only communication to her family. Ever since, she's been sticking around TXF and is getting more familiar with it thanks to Luna.

Fellice is an Angel from Valhalla. She just recently had a new addition to her family- her new son Lyro, and while her love Rai still has his memories lost, he still trusts her like he never lost them.

Qhia is another Valhallian character. She is a Cherub, and a pretty miserable one at that. Her parents hold her to very high standards- meaning one mess-up gets her in a lot of trouble. Lately she's been spending more and more time away from her home to escape the pressure, and her parents are getting worried. But she likes the life of a semi-rebel.

Kie is an island native Xweetok. Born and raised on Mystery Island, she is a skilled swimmer and tree climber. She is also built for running which she does a lot of in the forest.

Tesdai is pretty much gone mentally. Having lost so many children, the wounds have become too much to heal from, and she's on the verge of insanity by now. The only three keeping her from a mental breakdown are Zehng and her two most recent children, Kalluuh and Isirha.

Kalu is one of the two of Tesdai's daughters. She has pretty good power, but she or her family have yet to understand it. This little kit is a curious one, and she always seems to be on the go.

Xae is a kind soul, though very skittish around strangers and hesitant when talking to ones she doesn't know. She tends to be a night-owl, considering it's a good time to be alone in the quiet- without anyone bothering her.

Fyaorie's a very nocturnal Xweetok. She refuses to come out during the day unless she really feels the need to. She spends the whole day inside her cave home- which happens to be very large- then comes out during the night to enjoy the quiet the night has to offer.

This young lady is a water Xweetok- literally. At times she actually feels more at home in the lake than on land. It's a wonder she doesn't have fins and a fish tail. She has many water-related powers, some of which are discovered, others of which aren't.

Adoptable Rules

I didn't think I'd have to make a set of rules, but it seems I have to now...

1. If it isn't your custom, LEAVE IT ALONE. There's NO excuse to take anyone else's design or custom.
2. Do NOT edit the adoptable or alter the code in ANY way. If there's something wrong with your adopt, tell me and I'll fix it myself. Also, don't upload these to your own server, remove my signature, or remove the link back.
3. If you have an adopt to pick up, it'll be there for TWO days before I take it down. Two days is plenty of time to go to a page and copy a code. If you don't get it by two days, I'll assume you don't want it and take the code down.
4. Don't request a custom if they're closed.
5. I won't go by descriptions, I need to look off a reference picture. Sorry.

Ask me which of my Xweetoks I want an adoptable of. I may not always want an adoptable of Isni, I have a lot of Xweetoks after all.
