Where am I? you wonder aloud, though obviously you know you are the only one around the area. Suddenly you feel a little on the lonely side, sighing sorrowfully. Hm... You lift your head from the boring, lifeless dirt underneath your feet and begin to look around, taking in the breathtaking view. There are healthy green trees scattered everywhere, and so many plants as well. The brilliant sun is peering through the trees above, bathing the area in a soft golden light.

As you are walking you hear a quiet rustling nearby, but you shrug and think nothing of it. Probably just my imagination... you say to yourself and you continue forward indifferently. Suddenly a dark shadow flies over your head and lands in front of you and you stumble backwards onto your back in shock.

From the shadows a light-green xweetok emerges, staring at you intently, not looking too pleased to see you. Who are you? And why are you here? the wolf asks, and you let out a quiet sigh of relief. At least he sounded gentle, though his face and tone said differently. I asked... who are you?! the wolf repeats, taking several steps forward.

You gulp, not wanting to anger the wolf any further and quickly stutter, M-my name is guest! Shaking your head, you add with a shriek-like tone, I am merely taking a walk! I didn't mean to trespass or anyth-...

You are cut off by the wolf, who lifts a paw and glances around uneasily. He twirls around the golden necklace hanging from his neck absentmindedly and then nods. Alright. Come with me. I'll lead you out of this forest. You'll die quickly if you stay long. He begins to walk away, and you don't bother asking where you are going. You don't want to get into any trouble. Hm. So... you said your name was guest correct? he asks, glancing over his shoulder suspiciously.

You nod in response and then the wolf turns away again. You grin and run closer, feeling braver than before. So! Uh... what's your name?

With an annoyed sigh the wolf murmurs, Ion.

Ion glances over his shoulder, giving you an exasperated look but then shakes his head. Fine... fine. Just to pass the time... I suppose.

Syrana: Syrana? Oh! She's my mother. Beautiful, isn't she? Well... she's my birth mother that is. I forgot to mention that! But she was killed along with my father long ago... I don't remember too much of her because she was killed when I was just a young pup... but all I remember is that she was very sweet and very gentle... the perfect mother. I loved her so much even though I didn't know her long. She always treated me well and protected me... and defended me whenever my father was upset with me... or if he took his anger out on me and all that and... y-yeah... um... so I don't know what to say about her. I don't really look like her, except the green fur. But my entire family is full of green-furred wolves. Strange huh? I really wish I had gotten to know her better... too bad she had to die at such a young age... I miss her so, so much. But it's okay, I suppose. I have my new family and stuff, and they make me happy too! So I guess I can't really complain. I love my new family so much too. Sometimes I wish I could see her again... well... a lot of the time but you get my point... and... well... though of course I wish she were still here with me... but... that can't be helped I suppose... rest in peace, my dear mother... So what about your love life? You mentioned earlier that you had a love if I recall... what's her name again? you ask curiously, glancing down at Ion when you notice he has stopped walking. He looks up at you with a new type of ex pression. His eyes seem to have a new glow in them, and you can tell right away that he indeed does have a love. And he must feel very strongly about her. There's a big grin on his face and his face seems to light up at each mention of his mate.

Ion chuckles softly under his breath and then looks up at you again. Maya! Her name is Maya... oh... oh Maya... Maya, Maya, Maya. She's... wonderful, and amazing... perfect! he begins, looking extremely happy that he gets to talk about her, She means everything to me. Nobody could make me happier... I... love her so much. She's the best mate I could ever have. And I'm so glad I met her... He closed his eyes, memories flooding his mind as he continued. I don't... know what I'd do without her. She's the center of my world... if she were to die... or if we were separated... well... I don't know what I would do then! Die, go into depression... I... can't even explain how I'd feel. I wouldn't be able to go on.

The young wolf shakes his head and then stares at you for a few moments. I can tell you how we became mates... but that could take a while. I used to be mates with Sky... but I figured out that I only loved her in a sister-brother sort of way if you get my drift? She had realized how her feelings were like mine (brother-sister) and all... too. Ah so Yusuke... and Sky. Well I won't say anything about that but anyways they asked Maya to resurrect me and eventually she did. And then I realized something else. I... liked... M-Maya! I was surprised at first...

With a shake of his head he frowns as he continues. So um... anyways... this horrible girl named Amityn was being very mean to Maya one day... and... so I tried to help and defend her you know... it was... odd... but er... so... once she had left... this other guy named Sishai came over and started babbling about how I liked Maya and was too shy to admit it.
