Hello there elephante109, and welcome to the Techo Terrace, a directory of Neopia's Techos.
On this page you can find information on how to obtain and paint a Techo,
food, books, and other items for your pet,
and lastly, an ever-growing list of this Neopian species.

When I first came to Neopia, many years ago, I fell in love with the Techo as soon as I saw them.
I created my very first pet, a female Green Techo named Iggy117.
She traveled with me throughout the lands, sharing in my adventures, fortunes and mistakes.

When I grew a bit older, I decided I wanted her to have a brother.
Thus, Newt107, a male Blue Techo, was born.

More recently, I brought another Techo into my family, a Red one named Gexx.
Now I own three of this fantastic species, and who knows, maybe one day I'll have even more. ;)

Iggy, Newt, and Gexx will always be my greatest companions on this site.
I started this Directory to share my love of this species and to give them more of the spotlight they deserve.

The last pet I'd love to add to my family is an UC Faerie Techo.

What's So Great About Techos?
Surely you jest!
Techos are one of the oldest species in Neopia, and many important Neopian characters are Techos.
For example...

Dr. Death - This Techo runs the Pound,
the temporary home for abandoned pets.

Techo Master - This Techo runs the Mystery Island Training School
and teaches Neopets how to defend themselves.

Techo Fanatic - The original Altador Cup Super-Fan.
You can often see and hear him shouting as he cheers on his team in the Altador Cup.

Techos even have a game named after them.

How Do I Get A Techo?

1) Create one!
Techos can be easily created at the Create A Pet page.

2) Adopt one!
Techos can sometimes be found in the Pound.
Won't you make a Techo's day and adopt one?

How can you resist that smiling face?

3) Morph one!
Using a Techo Morphing Potion or Transmogrification Potion will change any pet into a Techo.
A Morphing Potion will turn your pet into whatever color and species that is in its name.
A Techo Transmogrification Potion will turn your pet into a Mutant Techo.

The Lab Ray can change your pet into a Techo.

How Do I Paint My Techo?
The majority of Techo colors can be obtained by purchasing the proper Paint Brush.
For example, a Faerie Paint Brush will give you a Faerie Techo.

There are some exceptions though, those are the Jelly and Robot colors.
Jelly Techos can only be obtained through the Lab Ray or a Fountain Faerie Quest.

Robot Techos can only be obtained through the Lab Ray, and an item called the One-Use Robotification Zappermajig.
This was a reward from the Return of Sloth plot and cannot be sold or traded.
