The day I left the Blue Mountain Pack was a cold day, as all of the days were around those parts. My heart had broken after my life-long love, Rain, had passed on. I needed to be alone... and with the psychic powers I possess I brought myself back to the Snowager's Cave, where he and The_Night_Dragon were still living.

The odd pair greeted me warmly, having not seen me since I left them years ago to be on my own. There was a shelf made of the stone that the cave was formed from, and high upon it was a small blue gelert plushie, that I remembered as my own. I willed it down with my thoughts, and in seconds it was in my paws, and I hugged it.

Suddenly I felt young again, as I looked up at the Snowager and across teh my freind Dragon, who had once been my only family, and thought to myself, why should I go back to Mixy? This was my true family, my true home. Where I truely lived.

That night I bored them with the tales of my past, but they watched me eagerly, listening intently to all I had to say. Mixy's family were much too restless to have any time for me, so I tried to say all I could, so we could all go to sleep. The snowager was schedueled to fall asleep then, anyway.

Later that night a terrible storm kicked up, but I made our cave inpenetratable to the sound. It was peaceful and quiet inside, all except for the Snowager's loud snores and the cackling of the warm fire.

Many days passed on like this, I had not needed to leave yet, and they insisted that I stay, so I did. Days turned to weeks, and weeks to months. Four months had passed and I had stayed with them for that time, one third of a year I stayed with them, training with the Snowager and my predessor. Everything was how it used to be.

Finally it had happened again, I had grown weary of the schedueled nap times, and I thought it suitable that I should leave. Again Dragon stayed with the Snowager, and as I said goodbye to them both, I could've sworn I saw tears in both their eyes.

So I started trudging back towards the Blue Mountain Pack, having never teleported there so it was pointless to even try, because it was likely I would miss my target in a storm. It began to rain.

Rain.

That name struck me so hard, harder than I ever imagined possible. I fell down weakly and lay in the snow, the storm whipping around me and I steadily grew colder. My eyes had lost all vision, as they were too clouded with tears. I lay in the snow for ours, being covered steadily as the night grew old.

Never had I thought all my training with the Snowager would fail me. Never. I always assumed that I would never end up in trouble, for the Snowager had tought me a solution to almost all my problems, how to remain warm, how to teleport...

But laying there, in the snow, slowly dying, my mind was as numb as my body, and it slowly shut down, leaving me to die in the snow.
