Worked all day helping that dimmwitted Lenny in Altador orginize books. From the looks of things, I'll be here a while. I almost feel bad for the archivist though, apparently all the history for the city was lost for a while. He's trying to make sure it doesn't happen again and is fixing the hellish orginization system they used in Altador so many, many years ago. Running about the hallways has given me a blister. I might leave soon while the archivist is sleeping.. I think the blister is growing..

Some poor, pathetic Altachuck followed me after I slipped out of the archives. That pathetic Lenny shouldn't have taken a nap. Lots of luck to the next shmuck he talkes into helping him. I've named the Altachuck Eddi and he's so far mannaged to swipe an apple from me while I wasn't looking. I hate to say it, even though petpets weren't really my dish, he's kinda cute.

I'm on a ship to Mystery Island. I read in one of those books that there's a lost city in Mystery Island in the very heart of the forests. I have to see some of the pottery inside the temple. Eddi keeps trying to eat my pen.

Helloo~o creepy temple. The skeletons everywhere wasn't exactly the good omen I was hoping for. Pudds right, I am hardheaded. I'm going to find out what's in that temple. Eddi keeps shivering but I bet he's a big monster inside, ready to take down anything.

It was a shocker when the temple doors slammed on us. The temple wasn't as crazy as I thought it would be though. The research was amazing. What sort of magic could have created this temple, I'll never know. I brough home an old toy, a big, clay pot (yay!), and this neckalace made from some sort of tooth. I'm so leaving this place and going back home to Neopia where I belong. From Pudd's last telegram, their is a 'pleasant surprise' waiting for me. I'm a little worried. The last 'pleasant surprise' involved music so loud, I heard a squreeeeeeeeee~e afterwards for most of the day.

Pleasant surprise? Hows being pitched under a pot by a couple of twins while your owners running out the door pleasant? Turns out we have two new family members. Pudd found them off the street and took them. Unfortuanatly, they were named off the numbers on their ID tags. I think they might have run away from a loony house. 12158 is the girl and named Ava. 12157 is the guy and named Aidan. Ava is the evil one, so energetic and constantly plotting. I swear, I'll grab her by her Kyrii fake tail and spin her off a canyon. Aidan is really quiet though. Ava loves her brother to ittle pieces and tugs him along to play with her. Little kids are so annoying. Pudd never even yelled at them when they got into the cookies. Aidan fed cookies to my man-eating plant and now he's sick to his little plant stomach. I might feed the Twins to my plant...

Ava tried to feed Eddi, my Altachuck, a bunch of glowing jelly. The aftermath is Eddi's fur glowing all day because, naturaly, none of the jelly was actually eaten. It's all very sticky. Aidan spent the day snoozing and occasionaly being proded by Ava. I think they ran off to Neopia Central.. I don't care anymore. Good luck to the next guy who runs into those nuts. (they'll wind up sometime) I'm making plans on a relaxing trip to Maraqua soon.

The trip to Maraqua is so beautiful. I stared out the subs windows all day, soaking up the view. Their was quiet the comotion when the outline of a giant squid was seen above us. I guess it must not have cared about us though. Kinda disappointing. I took The Twins with me. I guess Aidan and Ava are starting to grow on me? Aidan said Ava put a potion in one of the buffet servings so I had ice cream for dinner. It was so good with carmel, nuts, and choclate chunks in it! yumm~ Eddi has been switching between staring out the glass amazed and shivering away from anything swimming near the glass. It's rather cute. This trip has put me in a good mood.

Finally got out of the sub and on.. dampish land. We stopped near the entrance of a cave with a pretty cool air bubble. It's a big fishing play apparently. I caught a rusty can. Ava got curious and asked what was under the water and I said, "more water?" "Nooo, I mean what's in the water. Aidan perked up and then said, "she was watching a show about underwater caves yesterday." Me- "You two think there's some funky caves down their?" Aidan- "sure." Ava- "We have to find out!" Ava nearly drowned after taking a leap in. It looks like we're going to miss our sub and wait for the new one to take us to Maraqua later. This idea isn't so bad only I have no idea how we're suppose to stay underwater..

I spent some time teaching myself how to make air bubbles and other water magic stuff (while going on what I read in a book about pratical magic and some blessings). It wasn't too hard to do because I'm ashia but both Ava and Aidan couln't do it so I had to make them one. Even Eddi has a little air bubble.
We all jumped in and I gave everyone a bubble. As it would turn out, there is a LOT of underwater caves down here. I made it a point to leave some shiny rocks so we don't get lost. There was some tight squeezes to get past some rocks but the trip has been well worth it. Aidan almost got his head taken off by a really big squid in one of the caves. We manged to find an airbubble to spend the night and some nifty fire magic got us warmed up. Aidan caught some squid and fish to eat. Although.. he's the only one who even touched the squid. *Ick* Ava always stares at the shiny rocks I make (another blessing). She does like shiny things.

Well, it has been awhile hasn't it? I don't think the smell of salt water will ever wash out of my fur. We swam around the caves for about a week before getting a lift from a nearby ship. In all honestly, I wouldn't have known which way Maurqua was if someone hit me over the head with it. The captin (lets call him Captin Roar) was a mean, green Orgin. Captin Roar stuck us "children" in some dingy room. Didn't last to long till the boat just 'happened' to hit land. It took some fancy swimming to get us up on land.
Here's where it gets real interesting though. We're on a new land. There's giant petpets and a bunch of broken links everywere. I uh.. kinda.. unhonorably must say I was knocked around a bit by some of those petpets. Everything been kind of happeneing in a rush, so I didn't update my journal for a while. We're hiding out in a cave right now... I'm trying not to think about the petpet's diet or how they got so big.

How long has it been since my furs been dry and I've been able to see the sky? Before it was underwater, then a boat, then some too green freaky jungle, and now we've become stowaways to the boat we came on earlier. They don't know we're hear yet. Man, I feel like a rat or something. I need a break in the Lost Desert. Soon as these guys make dock, we're running our butts down they're.
Later: The ships slowing and I think they dropped ancore. If my drooping ashia ears are anything to go by, we're in Happy Valley.. Perfect..
