Bet you're here because you wanna know about my favorite game, Shenkuu Warrior! I hope once you get the knack of it you'll enjoy it, too. If you have any questions that aren't answered here, please Neomail me and I will answer them!
*Note: This page was coded to be optimally viewed in fullscreen.

Using your mouse, aim the princess's grappling hook at the cliff ledge you want her to climb.
Once you've taken aim, click your mouse's button on the spot where you want the grappling hook to land.
As soon as you click your mouse, start aiming for the next ledge!
Keep aiming and clicking until the princess has reached the very top of the level.

The box outlined in yellow is where I keep my gaze 90% of the time. I only look elsewhere when the grapplehook snags a low ledge.
I only grab high ledges when the princess is beneath the yellow box; the longer your grapplehook stretches, the more thrust that the princess will have, which means you will go "up" faster.
My mouse stays at the very top of the game -blocked- The grapplehook can be overshot, so both high ledges and low ledges can be caught.
Watching the compass usually isn't necessary, as it follows the mouse. Wherever the princess is, she will shoot the grapplehook in the direction of the mouse pointer.
Never double-click. The more clicks, the less of a chance the grapplehook will catch a cliff, and the princess spends more time falling.
Some situations require a few different ways of dealing with them. A few of the following may prove useful.
Dribbling; Quickly and repeatedly clicking above a ledge so the princess continually bounces between the bottom of the game window and the ledge. Useful for close-calls and shimmy-ing to either side of a ledge to grab one farther up.
Angled Shots; The grapplehook, when shot, bounces off of the side walls. The speed and strength is effected by the distance the mouse is from the point on the wall where the hook bounces. Useful for those tricky ledges and when the princess is trapped underneath a low ledge.
Do you have a strategy you use? Neomail me and let me know, I'll add it to the guide and credit you!
