...but we are still here.
If you are one of the few who still enjoys melding your shapeless green uni into a fully-fleshed and unique character, we implore you to join the REVOLUTION. Originally founded by Caitlin (caitdango) and Gobi (gobigobu), Revolution aims to bring Neopia back to the times of that blissful creative outpouring. Whether you are an artist, writer, application addict, profile designer, or just plain love customizing your pets to make them unique you can find a home and solace here. So long as your goal is to bring life to pixels, we are your guild through and through.
- An explanation from Gobi, for those who are wondering as to our reasons:
It's not really even a maturity level thing! Certainly, there are some issues that come with maturity when you have younger members, but in all honesty for me its like... a shared experiences thing.
For example, putting maturity aside for a moment, can you say you'd have much to converse about in depth with an 8 or 9 year old? I don't know how old you are, but they haven't had many of the same life experiences as you, or even watch much of the same tv or listen to the same music. There's some overlap sometimes, but there's just some things that you lose with an age gap. xD
Personally, speaking as one of Revolution's co-owners, we're almost all in our twenties and we talk about things outside Neopets like any college courses we're in, some of us starting careers & internships, etc.
That just makes a harder conversation topic for someone only just starting highschool or younger, you know?
- If at least an introduction hasn't been posted within the first week or two of joining, you will be kicked without warning.
- For current members: If you foresee yourself having a lapse in activity, please mail Owlbear and let us know about how long you'll be MIA for! This will protect you from any member purges that occur during this time, and save the council a lot of grief when we're scrambling to figure out where our members have gone.
Mission postings and more general information about how they are run are posted on the Bulletin Board and updated routinely. Check back soon.

The Muse's Quill is a medal awarded to our talented writers. It is represented by the crossed quill and sword and mounted on a red ribbon. Guildmembers can earn the Steel Quill by submitting entries to writing type missions or for taking part in extended, quality roleplays on the forums.

The Muse's Brush is a medal awarded to our talented artists. It is represented by the paint brush and mounted on a blue ribbon. Guildmembers can earn the ? by submitting entries to art-related missions or for completed pieces of their own characters or the characters of others.

The Shield of Jeran is a medal awarded for loyalty. It is represented by a broad shield and mounted on a green ribbon. Guildmembers can apply for or receive the Shield by actively posting and interacting with the community, and by frequently taking part in guild missions.

The Key to Victory is our highest available medal. It is represented by a simple key mounted on a white ribbon. Guildmembers CANNOT apply for this medal, it is awarded at random by the council when we see characters of excellence or when our members go above and beyond to assist the guild.
In addition, we have one special medal rewarded to the Recruit of the Month on the first of each month. This medal has only one form and is represented by a star mounted on a black ribbon. At this time, it cannot be applied for normally.
Being active in the guild.
As your post count increases, at certain intervals, you'll qualify to be awarded medals! The same goes for participation in missions-- as your trinkets add up, they'll qualify you for activity medals, as well.
