Guidelines For Adopting One Of My Fosters

Hi! If you are on this page, you are probably interested in adopting one of my foster pets. If you want to see what pets I have available, click on the OWA button on the bottom of the page. I am not a big fan of rules, but there are a few things you can do which are helpful.

1. Please just do a Neomail application to my main account princesjenifer. I do not want you to spend hours coding a petpage, drawing pictures and writing poetry hoping to get selected. If you have petpages, art, ect. for your current pets and you want to send a link to that, fine. But, just because you can do HTML and draw, doesn't mean you will automatically be a good Neo parent.
   
   
2. Tell me the name of the account the pet will be going to and if it is a a main or a side. Neopets has rules about accounts under four months not being able to adopt certain colors and species. I do not care if the pet is going to a side account, although I would like a list of your side accounts, even if the pet is going to your main account. I love and play with the pets on my sides.
   
   
3. Tell me a little about why you want this specific pet and what you plan to do with it if you are selected. You can also share a bit about what you like to do on Neopets.
   
   
4. Please no chatspeak. I am not THAT old, but I do not understand most of it. And spelling is not my thing, but please proof read. It is easier to understand. And it is in your best interest if I understand what you are saying.
   
   
5. Be patient. I sometimes get lots of requests for a pets and I have two kids, a husband and a job. So, I do not have a much time to spend on Neo as I would always like. I do try to get back to everyone, even those not selected, but once in a while, I am unable to do so.
   
   
6. Look at the pets description for information about the specific pet. That will let you know if the pet will be coming by pound (unsecure) transfer or secure transfer. And it will also have information about paintbrush clothes, if applicable. If the pet is coming through an unsecure transfer, you must be able to set up a time for the transfer to occur. Neo only lets us use one secure transfer a month and I sometimes need it for me, or I have already used it.
