On first glace you feel like you have stepped into a dream as you walk around on the strange island. Looking towards the sky you see birds the size of air planes which let out horrifyingly loud screams as they dive in and out of dark clouds. As you walk giant drops of dew fall on your head soaking you all over, as the vines and roots on the ground try to twist around your legs and trip you. Roses and other pungent flowers are so massive in size that their smell almost knocks you down and nauseates you. Feeling light headed you try to rest a bit under the shade, of what appears to be a giant toad stool.
Covering your face in dismay and fear on crashing on this strange island, with its giant plants and animals, you feel tears well up in your eyes. Suddenly, a faint voice calls to you as you see a glowing greenish blue figure appear from behind a giant ivy leaf. Holding out a hand for you to follow it you carefully stand up as it leads you further into the forest. You can sense a kindness from this being as if it is trying to guide you to safety. Soon you see a giant stump covered in vines but oddly there is a small hole in it, like a window, giving off the glow of a fire. Once inside you see that you are in the ruins of a strange castle and the table is set with giant berries of reds, blues and yellows ready for you to eat. A pitcher of some sweet intoxicating golden drink is set out along with the fruit, showing someone or something is here to take care of you.

Chapter 1
Sitting on her window sill the Hiazel ran her fingers though her long dark ebony hair. Gazing down out over the village before her she saw the giant bumble bees, with the Luni crest stitched into their wings, carrying crates of food and other materials to different parts of the village. Above her head massive spiders with green and yellow hour glasses, painted on their backs, kept fixing the long delicate protective web that hung over the town. Giant drops of dew kept falling down as the Lunights, the people that lived in the village, kept shouting, "Falling". This was the signal that the web was being messed with and the morning dew on it would be coming down soon, so watch out. Yet, the youngsters, of the village, splashed their small feet in the puddles left by the raining dew drops, while parents scolded them about the mud that would surly carry into their houses. "Hiazel, Princess Hiazel, are you in there? Came a soft voice that hardly a mouse could have heard, though the key hole.

Turing away from the window the zafara girl jumped off the sill and ran towards the door. Reaching for the knob she unlocking it quietly, as she let out a squeal of delight on seeing Lito, a scruffy looking tan faced zafara boy with dark brown eyes about 19 years of age. "Hiazel hush. I just finished up with my chores lets go out." Hiazel smiled and reached for her shoes as Lito took her hand.

Unlike Hiazel, Lito was the stable boy, or bee boy. He was constantly harnessing the bees down and adding new details to their leather saddles and fixing the stitching on the crests the bees wore on their wings. He would brush the pollen off their antennas, faces and legs, which would cause him to look like a yellow puff ball. The job of bee keeper was looked down upon greatly by the royal family and anyone of status in the village. In a since his treatment was like that of the pig boy in medieval times, who smelled of pig and other things and would always be dirty. Lito would smell like pollen and have yellow jaundice colored eyes, a clear sign of who he truly was.

Yet Hiazel, even though being of royal birth, paid no attention to this and only saw Lito as her greatest friend and treasure. He was only two years older than her, and had come to live in the castle, well the servants quarters, when he was only nine years of age. Hiazel had been an excited, but lonely, young seven year old. But, when she found Lito in the stables, one day, she knew they would long lasting friends.

Making narrow turns to escape the sight of the royal guards Hiazel and Lito tip toed out the back door until they were safely hidden among the giant roses in the royal garden. "I wondered if you would ever finish Lito. I get so bored up in my room all day after my lessons." Lito smiled as he pulled back a big green ivy leaf so she could get through. "Hiazel if you had seen all those bees they brought in you would be wondering how I got to see you at all." Smiling down at her Lito grinned as they took off through the forest, which was really just giant blades of grass and tall rainforest like trees, as. Up above their heads they could hear the cries of the different animals that inhabited the island of Luni. As they walked Lito would stop every now and then to pick up small dried seeds and explain how you could crack them open and use them as spices. Lito was full of forest knowledge, while Hiazel only knew about the inner workings of the government and the people of Luni.

Climbing up on a giant toad stool Lito put out his hand so Hiazel could join him. "Lito the forest is amazing, I wish I was allowed to come here more often." "Oh Hiazel what fun would that be if you came here every day. Soon the forest would lose its luster and excitement because you would know too much about it. The fun part is not knowing and expecting anything to happen." Waving his arms around him Hiazel giggled as she lay back so she could look up at the canopy of leaves above her. Her brown eyes squinted past the sunlight to see the animals and birds flutter over head. While Lito laid down next to her, but not too close, since she was royalty after all.

As the two of them laid their Lito looked over at Hiazel. Her light tan fur was different from his dark ruff fur and her black hair was always combed and pulled back in a low hanging ponytail or just hanging loosely about her shoulders and back. Her simple light burgundy dress with its light cream corset showed off her waist, while Lito was always in a dirty shirt and pants and his hair constantly had flecks of yellow pollen in it. He felt like such a hopeless commoner next to Hiazel, but yet her kind heart and gentle ways turned him into something else in her eyes, more like an equal. As he sat back thinking about it Hiazel rolled over and closed her eyes to face him. He watched her chest go up and down as she breathed softly while she slept. Pulling his hand out from behind his head he sat up and looked down at her.

It was wrong that he was looking at her like this. It was wrong that he had even taken her out of the castle, when their friendship was completely forbidden. But, his thoughts vanished when he felt Hiazel snuggle close to him in her sleep. As much as he wanted to tell himself this was ok he knew Hiazel would leave Luni one day and he would lose her. She was a Princess and he a common bee keeper not even worthy to see her face. Looking out over the forest his ears began to pick something up coming towards them, and then he heard it. The thrashing of leaves and other plant life startled Lito as he turned around to face a giant black and red praying mantis. Its golden yellow eyes glistened as his jaws and mandibles opened exposing the think saliva all around them. Shaking Hiazel awake Lito wrapped his arms around her waist and slid down the toad stool, as the base was ripped apart by the mantis. The white fluffy tissue of the mushroom fell down all around Lito and Hiazel as they ran. "Lito what is that?" Hiazel stumbled as she tried to talk. "It's a Devil Back Mantis, keep running!

Feeling her legs give out Hiazel could hear the Mantis behind them scratching the ground with its claws as it ran after them. Suddenly Hiazel felt herself fall to the ground as Lito ran back to help her up. A simple glowing green root had suddenly wrapped around her leg and put her in dangerous reach of the Mantis. Seeing Hiazel right within the jaws of the Mantis Lito reached into his pocket and pulled out a small dagger. Thrusting the dagger in the face of the Mantis he screamed to Hiazel, "Princess Hiazel, run!"

Wrapping her tan fingers around this strange green flowing vine Hiazel tried to pull it free but the vine would not let her go, "I can't break free Lito! Help me!" Lito turned around to see what the problem was, but once his back was turned the Mantis ripped into him. Falling to the ground in pain Hiazel watched as the Mantis hit him again and again. Soon he was lying motionless on the ground as he let out small cries of pain and scratched the dirt with his hands to crawl away. Hiazel watched as he tossed his dagger towards her with the last of his strength, "Cut it and run!" He gasped out.

On reaching for the dagger the Mantis let out a hiss and eyed her, but Lito move a little and tried to draw his attention back. With all her strength Hiazel tried to cut the thin root but it would not break. Every time she would saw into it and think she had cut through, it would quickly repair its self. Tears were running down her face as she watched the Mantis leave Lito and start walking towards her. Lito let out small shouts trying to draw the Mantis back but it was no use.

Covering her head Hiazel let out an ear piercing scream. The Mantis retracted and shook his head back and forth as a bright blue jewel appeared on its forehead. Hiazel watched has the Mantis lowered his arms and went into a calm praying stance, as if meditating. It's eyes glowed a light green, like the root, and then Hiazel saw her. A large Luna moth floated down from the canopy. Strange markings covered the body of this creature and as she walked Hiazel saw the plants were bowing to her. Reaching out a strange three fingered hand the moth creature touched the mantis, "That is enough my friend, now go and rest." Hiazel watched as the mantis nodded his head, "Yes my Queen." The Mantis said as it soon vanished into the vegetation leaving Hiazel with this odd creature and Lito close to death.

The Moth began to approach Hiazel, who was pulling desperately at the vine around her leg. "Oh you poor thing, let me help you with that" Her voice gave off a soft hum, as her furry antennas moved up and down as the vine released its grip on Hiazel. "Dear Princess Hiazel please forgive me but I needed you to stay a while and so this was all I could do in my weakened state." Had Hiazel heard right, did this thing just say she had caused this and mortally wounded Lito. She watchs as the moth walked over to Lito and touched the boys head. Hiazel wanted to get up and shoo her away but then she saw the wounds heal as Lito began to stand. Rushing over to him Hiazel fell beside him as Lito tried to calm her down, while keeping a close eye on the Moth. "What do you want?

Lito's voice shook a little as the Moth reached out for Hiazel's hand. "No you can't have her!" Lito's brain was a whirl of questions, what was this thing and why was he not dead? Shocked by the boys reply the moth waved her antenna and Hiazel watched as Lito fell fast asleep. "Please Princess Hiazel, your island, your home, needs you. Furthermore, it is yoru right as a royal child of birth to do as I wish. I am Loosta the Goddess of Luni and you will obey my request!" Loosta's voice rang in Hiazel ears as she let out a faint vibration from her throat. Soon a lighting bug with a blue gem on its head appeared, like the Mantis, and placed a brown and black tinted bird's talon in Loosta's hands. " Hiazel, come or I will kill that boy beside you with the last of my strength.

Placing her small hand on Lito's head Hiazel glared up at Loosta, but the thought of being alone again was too much for her to bear. Clearing her throat she stared up at the Loosta, "What do you want me to do?" Looking pleased with Hiazel choice she moved her antenna back and forth waking Lito up, but she made sure no more interruptions would come from him by wrapping small green vines around his legs, cementing him to the ground. On opening his eyes Lito watched the horror as Hiazel stood before Loosta. Holding the talon right above Hiazel head Loosta began to speak:

Silken webs.
Dark black nights.
From the fire of the earth, to the moon with its guiding light.
I cast the spell, the pack of faith, to give my powers fully away.
Bind them to the child you see here before me.
And let me go into the skies and rest for all eternity.

Making a small incision with the talon into one of her wings veins she ordered Hiazel to sit, "Sit my child and our pack will be set." Lito watched as Hiazel looked over at him with a fearful expression on her face while she sat down in front of the moth and closed her eyes. A small amount of a green fluid leaked out of the vein of the moth and fell on Hiazel's cheek in three distinct little drops under her left eye and one on her forehead. Hiazel began to be bathed in a bright glowing green tinted light as the moth transformed into hundreds of small butterflies that whizzed and surrounded Hiazel.

Deep inside Hiazel she could feel something growing up through her feet and piercing the souls of her shoes. There was no pain but it was an odd feeling. But then it hit, her face craned towards the sky as her eyes shot open as the green drop on her forehead split in two and spun wildly while it moved right into her pupils. Letting out a scream she fell to ground covering her eyes as the butterflies vanished and these words flowed through her ears, "Now the pack is set."

The vines around Lito's legs disappeared into the ground as he rushed to Hiazel's side but on touching her, a sharp electric shock went though his finger tips. Seeing he could do nothing to calm the pain that was surrounding Hiazel he sat back awe stuck but the images before him.

Hiazel's black ebony hair began to streak with grey as her tail and her entire head of hair turned an ivory white. Her once tan skin began to change into a murky light greenish blue as she covered her face with her hands. Crying out in pain Lito watched as her hair grew longer and began to curl around her, like vines around a tree, as it came undone from its pony tail. Suddenly he caught a glimpse of her eyes; they were an odd light glowing green. Then the small green drops that were under her left eyes disappeared as they buried into her fur and turned gold and silver. Soon other markings began to appear on her tail and ears as Hiazel let out whimpers as she curled up into a ball. Lito's jaw dropped when he saw a veil of some kind of dark purplish indigo drape its self around Hiazel's body. Standing up he rushed to cut it apart, to ease her pain, but when he ran his hands through it, it was like touching the silk of a spider's web that could not be cut. The indigo veil wrapped gently around Hiazel's body as it became clear to Lito that what is was, was a dress, and detailing the bottom and the long flowing arms and train were tiny crystallized dew drops.

Suddenly Hiazel began to levitate off the ground as strange pieces of jewelry began to appear in her hair, arms, legs and the tip of her tail, until she was placed gently back on the ground. As quickly as the transformation had begun is soon ended leaving Lito's mind full of questions. Walking over to Hiazel Lito saw her head rise as her eyes opened, but she no longer looked like the girl he had play with as a child, but something much more. Her elegant slender body and long flowing hair was now tied back by the strange jewels, which gave her the appearance of a goddess. Lito walked over to her and put his hand out towards her, feeling her take it as he looked down into her glowing light green eyes. "Hiazel what has happened to you?"

Chapter 2
Hiazel felt sick as she glanced at her hand, which looked so alien to her. Rolling her head from side to side she looked up at Lito who appeared to be in complete panic. "Oh Hiazel, Princess Hiazel, I am a dead man. Look at you! I mean, there is nothing wrong with you. I mean…" His voice trailed off as a powerful gust of wind almost pushed him to the ground. Covering Hiazel's head he looked towards the sky but nothing was there. Yet, on touching her a strange feeling, or power, began to travel through his veins. Confused by what he was seeing and in disbelief the giant winged like lizard landed only a few feet from the two of them.
Lifting her head up slightly Hiazel saw the strange dark blue webbing lacing between the creature's toes and the murky greenish blue body. Along its head and back running all the way to the tip of its tail were silver and gold markings. Looking back at her hand, as her eyes blurred from fatigue, she was sure it was the same color as this strange lizard's scaly body. Yet, her thoughts faded into darkness as she passed out.

On feeling Hiazel's body become heavier Lito panicked. Looking down at her with worry he thought about how he would ever explain any of this to the royal court. "Well boy, are you getting on or not?"

Shaking himself awake he believed he had heard the lizard speak. "I know you are not deaf boy so get on. I am Luther, the Prince of the Grinkots, and the helper of that girl who is now, the goddess of Luni. If you need any more explanation then tell me and I will give you the same answer. Now get on!"

Lito just stood there motionless as Luther stuck his dark purple tongue in and out with disgust. He had only heard stories of these flying lizards but never thought he would see one. They were supposedly connected to the island and only the worthy who contained the everlasting spirit of Luni could even be in their presence. As he held Hiazel in his arms he understood that what had happened was that he was not worthy to see these mythical creatures of legend but she was.

Carefully he walked over to the Grinkot that rolled it's massive light green eyes at him, "Of all the odd and annoying boys the new goddess had to pick you. I bet you are not worth anything, nothing more than a bee keeper." Once Lito was settled on Luther's back he tried to calm himself down. The words Luther had said had passed over his head, all Lito could think about was the massive amount of trouble he would be in. Suddenly, the creature transformed as a pair of thin light blue silvery webbed wings protruded out of its sides as it jumped high in the air and began to glide through the skies. It became clear to Lito why they could never see these creatures; for their underbellies were a light crystal silver blue that matched the color of the sky above. He felt honored to be riding on one of the creatures of ledged but when he looked down at Heizel he noticed that she was still motionless, bringing his mind back to reality.

The Grinkot landed right in the royal rose garden and turned its head around to face Hiazel. "Ah my Goddess I am always here, as are all your subjects. Call on us whenever you need to and we shall be there." With these last words Luther jumped into the skies leaving Lito alone with Hiazel. Trembling with grief he knew he would have to face the king and explain everything.

On entering the Royal Hall of the Luni Court the King and Queen and all the head officials stood shocked by the appearance of the princess. A scream echoed through the hall as the Queen ran towards her child. "You! What is the meaning of this?" The King was standing up and walking over to Hiazel, but stopped when the officials began to point and whisper amongst themselves. "Oh my, look at her face, and those markings, could it be?" Turing around the King looked at the officials, "Could it be what? What has happened to my daughter?"

A cubby zafara with specks of grey in his black hair removed his spectacles and began to clean them vigorously. "My dear King of Luni have you ever heard the tale of Loosta?" The King scoffed at the zafara and pounded his fist, "Why certainly I have heard the tale of the Goddess of the Island, everyone who lives here has." The King watched as the officials nodded their heads in agreement and turned to face the chubby zafara. Clearing his throat the zafara began to speak, "I thought so your majesty, but have you heard the tale of how the goddess was chosen?" Rolling his eyes in disgust the King began to point to a group of guards stationed over by the door. Choosing his words carefully the zafara continued, "I am sure you all have. The goddess of old chooses a replacement that has the same kind of heart and being as she." Glancing over at the princess the zafara replaced his spectacles and walked over to the Queen who was holding her child in her arms. "If I may, your highness?" Placing his oily fingers on the face of the princess a snort of disapproval went through the hall. "These markings and this hair, and even this dress look like nothing of this world. Look at these jewels that are around her arms, clearly Sir your child has been transformed into something else."

The King placed his hand out towards his guards; telling them to stop, as he walked over to examine the princess. Lito stood back hopping he could get away unscathed as Hiazel began to wake up. Slowly her eyes flutter open causing gasps from all the court. "Her eyes!" Hiazel shook her head and looked up at her mother who was crying as her father looked terrified. Grabbing the child's hand the King pulled Hiazel up, "What is the meaning of this?

Hiazel felt her body go limp again as she tried to stand, turning around she looked towards Lito who was shuffling his feet back and forth. Seeing he was not going to help her Hiazel let out a whimmer as her Father held her wrist tighter. "Papa that hurts." The Queen was standing off to the side, with her face covered as a group of female zafaras walked in and led her away. "I don't care Hiazel! What have you done? Explain yourself!" Squeezing her wrist more a crunching noise echoed softly though the hall as Hiazel let out a scream and fell to the floor.

Whispers of shock echoed through the hall. "Dear heavens, what have you done to my child?" On hearing Hiazel scream the Queen pulled away from her ladies in waiting and rushed to inspect the damage. Tears were running down Hiazel's face when suddenly an odd cat, no it was not a cat, but a cat like creature appeared. Around its neck was a silver collar with a blue gem in it. Sliver and gold tiger like stripes detailed it's body as it hissed and spat at the King. Rushing over to Heizel's side it licked her wrist tenderly.

The King watched as its touch gave off an odd greenish glow until it stopped, and looked at Hiazel, "My Goddess, I am Clith, of the Argots, and my kind are here to help you at any time. We are the healers, always feel you can call on us." With that it ran out of the hall and vanished, leaving Hiazel speechless.

The cubby zafara smiled and began to jump up and down and licked his lips with excitement. "You see your Majesty, your daughter, the princess, is the Luni Goddess. Yes she is. That creature was of mythical legend which explains why it came to her aid. I am not sure how she came to be the goddess but I am sure that boy, there, can answer that riddle for us.

Hiazel stare at her father completely confused as Lito watched the chubby zafara point his greasy finger at him. The order was clear as a bell as the King shouted, "You there! Seize him!" Lito fell to his knees as Hiazel ran to his side. "Stand down, what is the meaning of this?" Her glowing green eyes glared at the guards who dropped their swords and knelt down. "Oh forgive us Goddess, we only follow you." Dumb founded by these remarks the King yelled out more orders but the guards would not obey. Hiazel watched as her father pulled out his sword and ran at her. "Why you little demon what have you done?" Covering her head she watched as one of the guards stopped the King while the other held him back. Lito rushed at the King and took his sword away from him, before he could stop himself.

A sick nauseating feeling was taking over Hiazel as she collapsed to the ground. Taking his sword back the King looked at Lito unsure of what had just happened. But once Hiazel hit the ground the guards snapped out of their trance and rushed at Lito. "Seize them both!" The order shocked them all, but Lito jumped into action and raced towards Hiazel and snatched her off the ground. "My baby! He is kidnapping the princess!"

The queen was screaming as Lito ran out of the hall and down the corridors. Hiazel was completely out cold and as Lito ran he wandered what he was doing. He felt an odd force controlling him, willing him to keep running. Suddenly it hit him, it was Hiazel. Falling to the floor her tried to let go of her, but she seemed stuck to him. Panic was racing through his mind as he looked down at her, then he screamed. "Help! Please get her off me! I can't let go, please!"

The guards were rushing towards him as they tried to pry Hiazel from his fingers. The King was out of breath and furious as the guards fought to get Lito to let go. Looking over at the chubby zafara he spoke to him under his breath, "What do you make of this?"

The zafara rubbed his hands together with excitemen. To have the king ask him a question and look to him for information was a treat a royal treat worthy of a place at the head of the court. "The only one that knows is that boy." Nodding his head in agreement the King walked over to Lito, "If you value your life boy you will spill what you know and fall to the ground and kiss my feet. You are on a thin line and your life is short right now." Hearing these words Lito collapsed as the chubby zafara wrap his filthy fingers around Hiazel's waist and cover her mouth with a white damp handkerchief. Lito felt his grip loosen as Hiazel was taken from him. Holding Hiazel in his nasty arms the chubby zafara ran his fingers though her ivory white hair.

Lito watched as the zafara reached for the bracelet that was around her wrist. Suddenly a feeling, the same feeling that had taken over him when Hiazel was endanger took hold of him again. "Hey you! Stop that? Don't touch her you filthy creature, she is the princess of Luni and not someone you can lay your grubby hands all over. How dare you think yourself worthy you lay a hand on her, and believe you can steal the jewels that are around her body." The zafara looked at Lito and licked his lips, "What do you know boy? These jewels could be the only things that are giving her power and if they were removed the one that wears them would hold the power of Luni." Lito let out a laugh, knowing the power was Hiazel not the things she wore, as the guards grabbed him by the shoulders he said the one thing he should have kept to himself. "You make me sick! You know nothing, I watched the transformation I saw the deal and Hiazel was given those powers, so those jewels are just decoration, a gift if you wish to call it that from the gods!

Quickly covering his mouth Lito looked to the King who had the same look on his face as the zafara, who was still trying to remove a bracelet from Hiazel's wrist. Feeling he had betrayed the only one that had ever helped him Lito lowered his head with disgust. "Take him away, to the dungeon. We will get the rest of the story out of him soon enough." Lito felt his arm get pulled almost out of its socket as he was dragged away. He wished he had never met Heizel for he understood at that moment, the whole time he had been in love with one he could never have.

The King was now looking down at his sleeping daughter as he snapped his fingers towards one of his guards. "You there, take her down to the docks and sneak her on the first ship bound off this island. Make it the military ship that is headed to Tugan, I never want to see this child again. Call for the scrivener." The zafara guard picked up Princess Hiazel and began to walk out the back entrance of the castle, where he mounted a bee and flew down to the docks. Yet, watching from the skies was Lumit, one of the Grinkots, who on seeing Hiazel in this state rushed back home to warn the grinkots of the mischief a foot.

Mean while the King and Queen were sitting in the royal court hall in tears as they gave a disturbing message to the scrivener.

The Queen was weeping horribly on her throne as she looked over at the empty throne her daughter use to inhabit. "It's a lie! She is alive, my child is still here! Why say such a thing?" Walking over to his queen the King placed his hand on her head, "My dear she has left us for good.

If it is not clear Hiazel is a depressed, quiet character, but very powerful when it comes to the natural world around her. Yet, she is confused by the harsh unjust actions of her Father. Yet, when she is forced to return to the decaying island of Luni, to save a people she can hardly remember, she becomes very bitter. Even with Luther and the Grinkots trying to help her Hiazel can't handle this visit to her past. This is due to; during her exiled life she fell in love with a Lord of Tugan and all she wants is to be in his arms. These feelings become stronger when she finds the remains of the royal castle of Luni, or a world and life that is no longer hers. As her hands pass over the many dusty records of the Luni royal family and people; she comes across a document chard and burnt in places detailing how Lito had told her father everything. Feeling betrayed Hiazel looses all faith in her powers and helping Luni, leaving Luther in a state of worry. Yet, when Luther's scouts say they have found an underground passage deep within the forest where the remaining Lunights are living they urge Hiazel to go and see them. The Grinkots then take Hiazel to this hidden village to see what has become of her people, but when she enters the deep underground cave she comes face to face with an older more broken Lito. All of this puts her in a position to choose which life is hers, a blissful marriage with a man of power in Tugan, or the chance to wear the crown that was taken from her by her Father.

Being the Goddess of Luni she is bestowed with powers of a high sort. She has the ability to grow plants with her thoughts, along with taking complete control of living creatures will. These include insects, animals, and even the sacred hidden creatures of the world.

The light green glow of her eyes has a hypnotic effect on these creatures and causes them to lose control of their minds. Yet, this power can be too much for young Hiazel, and it will leak outward to the people around her. Without her knowledge, at times, she can gain control of their minds. This is a devastating effect on Hiazel, since she does not understand what has exactly happened to her. Also the chances at finding true friends are slim when you never know if they care about you or are you some how controlling them to.

Right outside Tugan and in the Sea of Light rests the small island of Luni. Yet, there is one difference on this small island and that is the way the plants and animals have flourished there. Frankly it is unclear what caused Luni's plants and animals to grow to such astronomical heights. Some say it was in the water, but the truth lies much deeper than that. The tale is twisted and woven like the roots of an old oak tree traveling through the ground. Luni is not cursed to be this way it just is this way, and really that is all the people of Luni know. The tale is one that is hidden and so no one truly knows the history or the meaning on why a place like this would ever be created.

Yet, there is a reason behind why Luni is so different and it rests with the four all powerful gods of the world.
Loosta the Goddess of Luni as well as the Goddess of the moon is one of the four. Her large moth wings are what create the moonbeams that shine down on the world. She is truly one of the most secretive of the three gods, yet this is mainly due to her passing her powers on to Hiazel.

The Hawk King is the second God, no one truly knows his name outside the circle of the gods and those he makes his appritances. He is a vengeful god always trying to find a way to kill his brother, The Horned Bat, the third god. He is an evil god that controls the skies but really seeks more power all the time.

The Great Horned Bat is truly one of the most silent and the craftiest, which makes since, since, he controls the underworld. He is always trying to find a way to annoy his brother further. When he steals his brother's new pick for his apprentice it is clear that these two gods are always in a face off between who truly has the most power.

Lastly is Articol, the God of the Sun. He is a giant gold and red griffon that is somewhat like the king of all the gods, but this is not completely the case. He keeps himself hidden from the two bickering brothers and really just focuses on watching his youngest child grow down below him. Her name is Lebita, a young hatchling who Articol has placed away from the gods for her own safety.

Luther, or Prince Luther of the Grinkots is Hiazel's wings. I guess you could say he is more like a servant to her, as are many other odd mystical species that inhabit Luni and other parts of the world. Luther is part of the rare race called a Grinkot, they are flying geckos that are connected to the god world. They are invisible from the skies to those that do not have the light green glowing eyes of the Luni goddess and those that are unworthy to see them.

They live in the highest tree tops of the Luni forests and hardly ever come down. They are truly a secretive sort who are very stuck up. Luther is just like this. He dislikes any below him and sees the people of Luni as ants below him in size and status. He truly is a very self-absorbed and an egotistical pain in the neck. He wants everything done on his time and being a prince he expects complete obedience. The only one that stands above him is Hiazel, and he respects this most of the time.

Hiazel has a large collection of friends, well servants would be the better name for them. They are the species that people believe do not exist and here are a few of them, who are like the Grinkots.

The Argots, are a cat like species that can change in size very quickly. They can also change the colors of their coats, very much like a chameleon, so it is unclear if they are present. They specialize in healing by taking their light green glowing tongue and touching it to wounds. They are a quiet sort but are deathly loyal, like a dog.

The Botatas are small birds that truly never shut up. They have snake like eyes and come is hundreds of colors. Some say they are connected to why a rainbow comes out after a storm. They are the messengers of the gods and adore playing tricks on people. They are the ones that suddenly trip you when you are just walking on a flat surface, or cause you to hit yourself because you feel something biting you, when there is nothing there. They truly are annoying.

Hiazel is cursed with the power of hypnotizing people so she never knows if people care for her for her or if she controlling them. This is a hard existence, but one day her life changes. The day occurrs when she meets Lord Visuko, a dashing pale faced zafara with dark black hair, and the Feudal lords son. He is completely in love with Heizel and this time it has nothing to do with her powers. He sees Hiazel as quiet kind girl that is confused but somehow radiates a power he has never seen before. Truly for the first time since Lito and Luni someone has fallen in love with Hiazel for who she is and not for her status or the powers she possesses.

These are all images of the journey that Hiazel has taken.

Life is a hard one for a banished princess and goddess so let Hiazel rest. I am sure you are wondering why she has yet to see you but the truth is she sees no one. Alone she likes to stay until she can leave Luni and run back to the arms of the one she loves.
