Scavenger Hunt

Guild Poll

Every week a new poll topic will be announced on the Guild Homepage, and members are asked to roam through our members' homes, gardens, shops, galleries and lookups to find their favorite ones. Those will be collected and the entire guild will vote for their overall favorite.

Try not to nominate rooms and gardens that have already won for the current weeks theme(see the Winners Hall of Fame). To see a list of newly finished rooms and gardens, take a look at the Featured Rooms & Gardens page.

Word Scramble

Every Wednesday, we will announce a new phrase on the Guild Homepage for you to unscramble. If anyone can rearrange the letters to make the name of a neohome or garden item, he or she will gain the people's ovation and fame forever.

At the very least we'll give a cheer for your brainy accomplishment, and you just might find a little gift in your inventory at the end of the month.

Birthday Club

We like to announce member birthdays so everyone can send them birthday wishes and gifts, and embarass them on the messageboards. :)

Make sure you let our Mascot and calendar-keeper sarad23811 know when you birthday is coming up (month and day is sufficient), so she can add it to the Calendar and let everyone know!

1. Monthly Donations

It is very much appreciated for members to donate to the guild. In order to keep donations workable, we ask you to only donate salable items that have a value of at least 1000np as many small items will overload both the council and our guild shop. Everything that has been donated will help fund our guild activities. E.g. we give out gifts frequently to reward and show appreciation to our members. Special gifts are also bestowed upon those who perform well in our events, and who are active and help out other guild members.

Donations may be made by purchasing something from the betternandg Guild Shop. We have special donation items worth varying amounts, and other items for your neohome and garden. Please try to buy at least one thing each month as you too will benefit from the activities and gifts.

But it doesn't have to stop there! Particularly generous members will be rewarded, and every NP we receive goes back into guild activities. You may also send donation items to the betternandg Guild Account. We use these to stock the shop and for the auctions too, and every little bit counts!

2. Promotions

Our guild has five ranks as follow: Newbielicious, Green Goober, Neat Beet, Awesome Blossom, and Grand Bloom. Promotions happen (generally) on the first of each month. All Newbielicious members will automatically become Green Goobers, but to advance from there you must earn your promotion by standing out in one of several ways:

• Participate consistently in guild activities
• Chat often on the message boards
• Do something helpful for the guild and its members

The BNG council members will take note of your activities in the guild and will determine when it is time to promote you. We can be forgetful sometimes, so you might want to *politely* remind the Guild Account if you're keen to advance and think you've earned it.

3. Messageboard Ettiquette

Please speak in full sentences using punctuation, and take the time to proofread your messageboard posts before you submit them.

Please use the default font face and colour on the board so it is easiest for us to read. You may use coloured fonts in your signature line.

We do deviate from the topic of Neohomes and Gardens regularly, but always come back to it. Please remember that this is a Neohomes themed guild and try to help keep us on topic! ^_^

4. Fighting Between Guild Members

We want to keep our guild a happy and stress-free place. If you are having trouble with another member of the guild, please try to smooth it over with them peacefully and personally without it becoming a guild issue. If it spills out into the guild boards or other activities, the council may be forced to ask one or both of the feuding members to leave the guild.

We would much rather everyone get along; please save the drama for another place!

5. Recruiting New Members

If you are, or you know someone who would like to join the guild, have them send a neomail to the Guild Account to apply for membership. All applications will be reviewed by the guild council. These are the traits we are looking for in a potential member:

• Existing and well thought-out Neohome
• Activity in a variety of Neopets areas
• Mature use of grammar and spelling
• A kind and helpful attitude

6. Multiple Accounts

We do allow multiple accounts in the guild; just ask the Guild Account to let you in. Please only use your main account for activities like nominating and voting for the weekly polls.
