Hi! I'm Henrys_Honey, obviously. I was named for my mistress's favorite TV actor, Henry Simmons, who played Detective Baldwin Jones on NYPD Blue.



My mistress has also been nice enough to give me both a petpet and a petpetpet! My petpet is Ariel the feloreena and I love her soooo much! My mistress worked long and hard to get her for me; she stalked the faerie petpet shop for 3 months just to get her at a good price!...And then she spent all of her money to get us a breebly!





Since I know that so many of your owners have a hard time equipping petpetpets, I decided to make this page about equipping them! Here, I will tell you all I know about it. Ready? Great, then lets begin...





First, you need to GET a petpetpet. While you can get them in a Random Event, that's very rare (99!), so the best way is just to buy them. There is no Neopets Shop to buy them in, so you 'll have to get them from another User, via the Trading Post, Auctions, or - rarely - Shops. There are, as of 2/15/09, thirty-six species and most of them can be bought for 115K and up; the Vernax is the cheapest and the Mootix is the most expensive because you'll get an avatar with it.

Below, I have pictures of each of them in alphabetical order, with their names, so you can figure out just what kind you want.

NOTE: Make absolutely CERTAIN that you like - and will continue to like - the petpetpet that you get. Once they are equipped, they cannot be removed; if you try to unequip either the petpet it's on or the bug itself, the petpetpet will completely disappear and be lost to you. So make up your mind now!









Now, once have your hands on the little guy, put it in your Safety Deposit Box while you take care of the next step... Done? Good. At this time, you will want to fill your Inventory (or "Items") with 49 pieces of junk that you don't mind losing. You will do this so that if the Pant Devil comes during the equipping process (more on that later), he's more likely to steal something other than the bug you just spent much NP on.

Now, go on and get to getting junk! I'll wait... *sings* la-da-da...*







Done with that? Good! Now for the hard part! First, make sure that the pet that has the petpet that you want to give the petpetpet to (got that?) is active...then take the petpetpet out of the SBD and go to your Items page.

While on your ITEMS page, refresh like mad until the bug disappears and hops on the petpet in a Random Event. Sounds easy, right? Wrong! This may take a long, long time (I've heard of it taking hours, though our breebly only took 15 minutes), so PATIENCE is key! An easier way to get thru this is by holding or taping down your F5 key (it's a "Refresh" shortcut) for several minutes at a time. But DO NOT place anything - like a rock or book or cat - on the key for hours, as that's against Neopets' rules and you can get frozen for it!





If you find yourself getting bored/frustrated/mad during this part, just stop, put the petpetpet back in your SDB and try again later.







Now, you should be done with the equipping of your pet, so lay back, kick your feet up, and just enjoy!
