Now I know the guild has been dormant for most of the holiday season, but with the new year, we plan on bringing about some new changes. To begin with, the two remaining council positions are going to be opened up. But there is a twist. The two positions will be rotating positions, and the council that will hold them will be nominated and voted on by all the members. Nominee's must be well known and trusted members, and the council will reserve the right to reject any nomination that they deem unacceptable.
That said, just use your good judgment when nominating people, and it will most likely be fine. If not, I will work it out with you. With that said, please feel free to neomail me your nominations! I will go into more detail about this in the upcoming guild podcast. Thanks guys, and hurray for 2009!
Will//12.16.08// Well, the point-exchange is coming to a close soon, and I'm sure a lot of you aren't sitting on to many points. Fear not. As of today, everyone is going to spotted 10 points. However, to get the great prizes, you need a few more points. Why not come help advertise tonight? Everyone who shows up gets 3 points. A link to the advertising board will be posted tonight.

Will//10.19.08// Wow, thank you Lexa for creating this very colorful, and very
awesome layout! Now, I know by now that everyone has noticed that a lot of old faces are gone. However, we still have wonderful members who are here, and a spirit that just can't seem to die. We are rebuilding! And we would love for you to join us. 'How can I help out?' you might be asking yourself. We are currently looking for members to host committees/events, so please feel free to neomail either Sarah or myself if you are interested. Please visit the Committee page to see
a list of the Committees that need to be restaffed. Thanks!
09.21.08 //Wins: Hey everyone! Wins, being the astrology geek she is, decided to do a little guild project called the oh-so-original "FCF Zodiac Project". Spiffy. xD Anyways, all you have to do is neomail me with your zodiac/star/astrological sign and compare it to other signs to see which (participating) people you're most compatible with. Gogogo! ;D
09.13.08 //Wins: The Cranberry News is open for submissions! 9/25 = deadline.
09.12.08 //Third Council Announcement:
Dear FCF,
After a long, possibly torturing period of time interviewing applicants, discussing strong points and weaknesses, and all that stuff in between, Will and I are delighted to announce that we've found a new member of council.
This process was extremely difficult; if any of you have ever owned a developed guild and needed to decide on a co ownie when you have four brilliant applicants to choose from, you'll know – it's hard.
With that being said, we want to thank you, Kayla, for applying. We'd like to thank Wyns for applying, too. And Lexa and Sarah as well. You all have great talents and wonderful qualities you would offer to the guild in so many ways. However, we don't have four spaces to offer to these people, and don't intend to. (Remember, FCF tries to eliminate hierarchy whenever possible!)
So...without further ado, we'd like to inform you that Sarah (coolkatzwer) is our new council member. She has lots of talent, determination, friendliness, reliability, ideas, and much, much more that she has to offer to the guild, and we're very grateful to that. So congratulations to her!
However, we aren't just going to leave all these other potential members in the dust. Because of talking with these members and getting a better feel of their responsibility and dedication, Will and I have decided to offer complete and total charge of the Graphics Committee for Lexa and Wyns (our two extremely talented graphics gurus of the guild). If you would like this opportunity, too, Kayla, you may. But since we know it's not your thing (it's not for everyone!), we're offering you a permanent position on the ABC if you wish.
We're sorry that we can't give you all what you wanted, but it's physically not possible. We hope you enjoy your spot, Sarah, and the compromises, Lexa, Wyns, and Kayla. As for FCF – we hope you enjoy your new leader! =]
- Wins and Will
09.08.08 //Wins: Ooh, 'tis been a while since we updated. Good! Now I have lots to say, haha.
First of all, lots of questions have been circling around the subject of third council. Applications of our four applicants have been completed, as well as surprise interviews. Will and I have been discussing each member, and will continue to do so carefully. This being said, I feel it's safe to say that leader applications are now closed. Thanks to those who applied - you'll find out your fate soon! xP
Also, the relay is still on, however the finale is just being held off until we have our third council member. Thanks for your patience! It also isn't too late to join in on the olympics - after all, it is just a relaxed, fun series of graphic-making, games, etc for you guys to do when homework isn't coming out your nostrils. ;)
08.20.08 //Wins: Salutations, FCF!
As you may or may not know, help is wanted by the leaders of FCF. And we don't just mean a favor or two with some pages and such -- I'm talking third council space. If you think you have what it takes to be one of FCF's leaders, please check out this page for details. All applications will be sent to Wins via neomail, however both leaders will read over every sentence and discuss our thoughts together. A time limit has not been decided upon yet, but we suggest you hurry if you're interested!
08.18.08 //Will: I start this post with great sadness, but it is something that must be said. Summer is coming to an end. If school hasn't started back for you already, it probably will be soon. In this time where homework and extracurriculars will undoubtedly begin to fill up schedules, FCF is adapting. We want to provide entertainment, while at the same time minimizing work and effort for the members. Now if you have the extra time to help out in the guild, don't worry! You will have plenty of opportunities.

You will have plenty of opportunities. For everyone else who will just be looking for some relaxation and fun--we got you covered. Starting on Wednesday, the FCF Olympics will be launched. These series of events will all take place on the board, and will be purely for fun. Feel free to drop by and join in at anytime! Also, the guild Relay page has been updated. The Writing Contest has been extended until the end of the month. There will also be one last activity in the Relay before it ends--so check back soon for more details. To all applicants for the ABC, I ask that you just please hang in there, I will be getting back to you all shortly!
08.12.08 //Wins: Just a note to everyone - tonight we're having a guild meeting on the message boards at 5 NST. It shouldn't take long, so I'd like everyone to be there if humanely possible. Please read the boards for my posts on this meeting, and check your inbox for the guild mailer. Thank you.
08.04.08 //Will: After a nice little vacation (and horrible tanning experience), I'm back! On behalf of the guild, I'd like to thank Arie for being here in the absence of the council--and hope that she will visit more often! The FCF Relay page has been updated with all new events, so check it out!
07.21.08 //Wins: Hi FCF! I'm so sorry, but starting in...13 minutes I'm going to camp...for three weeks! My friend bombalurina_flame is going to help me out by letting me write to her to you guys, and she'll type out the messages to Will. I'm not sure if too much can be said back (or even from me through her), but I still wanna know how the relay will go! I'll miss you all, lots!

Because of the limited space we have on the guild page, updates are often shorted or deleted all together to create space for new ones. This page will host all pushed back updates in their entirety.
