About Me

My name is Alexandra or Alex for short. I love movies and books so most of my layouts are based on this. Let's see, what else can I tell you? I hate stupid people (they're everywhere!). I love my family and friends. I adore fashion and shopping. I can't live without my iPod. I play piano, act, and sing. Oh and I'm a hopeless romantic. Yep. That's about it.

Why the Years?

I was thinking about what I wanted to call my layout styles when I remembered my love for vintage. So I decided to stick to it and name my layouts after certain years.

1945: This is the year that WWII ended and I've always loved this era.

1961: I love just about everything from the 60's and this is 50 years from today. Also Breakfast At Tiffany's, one of my favourite movies, was released this year. The main actress in it is Audrey Hepburn who is one of my idols.

1926: The 20's was fun a time. This year was named mainly after my birthday (September 26th, 9/26).

1918: This is the year my house was built! Yes, I live in a very old house:) Anyway if you're a twilight fan, this is also the year Edward Cullen was turned into a vampire :K

1971: This layout style is dedicated to my Grandfather. He unfortunatley passed away this year.
