A regular ayinpires guild event, starting October 2008 and running every month for so long as folks are interested.

How does it work?

Each month I pick a 1p BD challenger for us to fight. Any guild member who wants to participate is encouraged to beat them up until they can no longer do so. So, each month we will be trying to max out against a different challenger.

neomail me at least one week before the end of the month, please include your battlepet's name.

But there are all those folks with bigger pets, how can I compete?

At the end of the month, the guild member with the highest score wins.

Scores are calculated thus: Challenger's HP after your last win / Your Strongest Pet's HP. Thus if my HappyChton has 1250 HP at the end of the month and I manage to beat the challenger up until it has 5000 HP, but no further, then I get a score of 4.0. If Van's maina2587 has 450 HP at the end of the month, she would only need to beat the same challenger up until they had 1800 HP to get the same score.

Thus it should be possible for determined battlers to compete meaningfully against each other regardless of league. (Although some months stronger or weaker pets may have a notable advantage against any particular opponent)

What about side accounts, can we participate?

Sure, but you'll have to make sure I'm clear about who you are for scoring purposes. You also lose any exact ties against main accounts.

What about transferring stronger pets to other accounts to raise the end score? What about training a pet like Danger? What about borrowing weapons?

Dude, this is a bragging-rights only in-guild event. Remember that we are a relaxed guild whose only requirement is respect. If you really need to game the rules like that for a relaxed event like this, I suggest going into law or politics.

I reserve the right to disqualify anyone who I feel is not treating the event honorably.
