How could wandering ever be so enjoyable? To never settle for long in one place and be in another the next minute, hour, day, week, year, or even decade? There are those who do this and never seem to be bothered. It's not like they travel alone all the time either. Some travel in groups while others maybe a companion or pet.
You walk along the dirt road set out in front of you heading along to wherever you may be going next. There are trees on both sides of you, blocking all but a few rays of sunlight from lighting your path. You know your nearing the end of this dim-litted part of your journey for a light appears from up ahead. Keeping your current pace, you continue along until you reach the light. Allowing your eyes to adjust you view your new surroundings.
The dirt road is still intact, but there are few trees. A wide meadowy-field is in front of you. The grass is an inch or two higher than normal and there are flowers scattered neatly in little patches here and there randomly as nature put them. As you continue along, something catches your eye. In one of those rare trees along this particular road, you spot someone. He seems to be facing you, but you do not know if he sees you; his eyes are blinded by a headband with a metal plate it looks like on it. He's crouched up on a branch with his tail swaying here and there in the light breeze. His head lowers ever so slightly before disappearing without a trace.
A single, off white feather blows in the breeze and lands at your feet. Picking it up, you notice that it changes different colors in the sunlight. You stow it away with your others belongings and continue along, slightly disturbed by your encounter with this wanderer...

:}Appearence - Tall and slender, but a slightly muscular-like slender. Wears a mask over part of his face. ears are large and have a feathery-fluff over the inside part. Wears gloves with a metal plate with a feather symbol on the metal part. Jacket looks similar in style to that of Konoha's, but not as padded. Also, the coloration is a darkish grey with medium gray-green parts. wears long shorts with same coloration to jacket (anthro form has pants only). Retractable wings have a specially designed holes made in jacket for them to be used (wings are beetle-like, but long with insect-like translucent wings underneath). Skin coloration is a dark sea-greenish/pine green color.

Destler is a crazy person, or at least appears it. Her love of these creatures called Pokémon I believe is a bit strange. Overall, she's quite mentally stable.

The only reason why I consider Kai and Mon family is because of our reptilian blood. Kai lives in a valley in between a place called the Lost Desert and Altador and Mon....well, he could be anywhere. I don't see either of them much, but both are good-natured and blessed with special supernaturual powers any ninja would envy (or at least me).

Grieveh, he's quite a character. Not the sort you'd want to meet though. I've seen him on a few ocassions and each time he's been meaner and more deadly than before. No wonder he's one of the most feared generals of the time.

This reptile-pig hybrid started following me around one day. I have no idea where it came from or why it decided to go with me, but he's been my "companion" on the road for a while now. Giro (pronounced gee-row) has a blank ninja headband wrapped around his torso and one on his head. I didn't put them on him. They were already on him so I don't know if he ran away from someone, but whatever the case may be I think he won't stop following me.
He also has these cool little bobbles that float above the tips of his four ears (which for some reason have a strange resemblance to my ears). He's one tough little guy though. Don't mess with him. He's bound to take something from you otherwise....and eat it. He also tends to pop up randomly since he prefers that I do not pay any attention to him at all while we travel so I tend not to know where he is.

My previous village was Konoha. I don't remember it much and I don't visit there often (or as often as I probably should). I didn't study at the academy there. I had no interest in being taught, but instead self-taught myself a few skills. I don't remember exactly when I left, but I was still decently young, but old enough to fend for myself.
During my travels, my skills developed and I made my own ninja headband with the symbol of a feather on it. The feather represents my wandering nature. A feather in the breeze goes where ever the wind takes it. But I wasn't a very cheerful ninja.
I remember this much from my time traveling when I first left Konoha. Once I was out into the wilderness I continuously got lost and hurt. I always had to stop somewhere for a long time to heal up, and eventually became well known in some towns because I stopped there so much.
One day I traveled out of the borders of the Fire Country. I belive it was the desert I made my way to, but that doesn't matter all too much. That's where I met Rhi; a former escapee from a maximum security facility nowhere near Konoha or the desert. He didn't see me as a threat and I traveled with him for a while. He taught me more about battle and the rest of the world. Eventually, we parted and I continued my travels.
Down the road, I met more wanderers like myself and made what is now known as the Wandering Feathers. Though the name sounds corny and stupid, it was a way to decieve our enemies. Our strict rules limited the number of members, but one thing that we all shared was a love of battle. Though we don't all have to like each other, we are still bound by the same number one rule; never settle down.
I continue my life as a wanderer, not really making too many friends though I do hope that shall change in the future. My enemies keep growing whether they be new or former friends, such as Rhi. But all I have to say now is that I still have many an adventure waiting for me.

{{{{:The Wandering Feathers:}}}}
The Wandering Feathers are a group that not only consists of ninja, but just about anyone who wanders. They do however have to have some sort of knowledge of battle. Haitsu is the leader of this group as he had came up with the idea after meeting a few other wanderers. The group has no other purpose than to bring together wanderers into a community of friends. Though there may be objections to each members motives in life, they may still be part of the group even if their ambitions are evil (in this case these members are usually shunned).
Each member must have on his or her person the feather symbol which represents them being in the group (there are certain exceptions). There have been cases of others trying to pass themselves off as part of the Wandering Feathers. Those people do tend to be wanderers as well, but sometimes do not have the necessary knowledge or skill of battle that is needed by all group members. They're usually tracked down by member's petpets if they have one.
Here's a quick run-down to be a part of the Wandering Feathers:

1. Must be a wanderer. This means you may NEVER settle down anywhere permanently. You must stay a wanderer forever. This does not mean however that you cannot visit people or places for extended periods of time.
2. You must have a good knowledge of battle. It does not mean you have to fight with other members or any other person, but a rejoiced thing among the group is helping others in need. You should get the idea. But, I suppose others could join in who know nothing of fighting...
3. The feather symbol must be on your person at all times. This came be on a headband, embroided onto slothing, or anything else you like. Exceptions to the symbol are markings or yourself that resemble part of the feather symbol or a feather in some way. It is usually better to have an article of clothing or an item with the symbol on it though since it prevents confusion.
4. Respect other members and their opinions. This is not enforced in any way though. Even the leader of the group, Haitsu, dislikes certain people and tends to not care about some members. Those that do respect everyone are usually those who have a lower level of fighting skill. Just the way the world turns.

Haitsu is a ninja, but that does not limit him from roleplaying with any other sorts of neopets. He'll gladly roleplay with any species as well; other scorchios, pteris, lupes, you name it. He doesn't do full human roleplay though. Only anthro and quad suit him. Doing mixed roleplays this way is fine as well (anthro/quad mixed).
A few things to remember about him though is that he's not willing to teach his techniques to others. For one so eager to learn new things, Haitsu likes to keep his own original techniques to himself. He's also quite the laid back fellow so expect casual conversations even in the midst of danger.
Also take note that even though he is a pet based of of the ninja from the show Naruto he does not know a lot about certain things (such as what's new in every village). This is due to the fact that I am not good at remembering stuff from the anime series x3

A: Cause I like scorchio's more and there's almost no reptilian ninja pets around.

A: No. And no to the asking of art from me. I only do things such as trades that I see fit and I do gift art on occassion. Do not draw something for me and expect me to draw something for you without notifying me beforehand (cause then I'll just consider it a gift).
Q: Where'd you get that music from?
A: Don't remember. Somewhere off the net while searching for random stuff.
Q: What art program do you use?
A: I use MSPaint, Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0, Open Canvas 4.03 Plus, Jasc Animation Shop whatever version it is, and sometimes Jasc PSP 9.
Q: Can my pet roleplay with Haitsu?
A: Sure! =D Just make sure you know that he does not do full person and his anthro form is basically the same as his quad form except he has pants in anthro form x3
