I took a sort of hiatus from neopets for a year, and I'm trying to get back into it. I've changed a lot since then, and I'm planning on both starting a new guild/plot with Vaugner at the center.
I currently have three accounts
I try to roleplay all my pets that have characters. Making and designing characters and their pages is my favorite part of neopets, hands down.
Lastly, I apologize for not being able to put up more art. Being an artist,
I would have loved to have images dispersed among the text, but I only found
out about Vaugner a week or so from this deadline, and I believe content and
description slightly more important to get the point across than simple
aesthetics.
Vaugner controls everything in Halcyon, with the exception of sentient
beings. He can remove magical differences, but he can't change how people
think.
Profile
{Name} Frederich Vaugner but please, refrain from the use of my
first name
{Age} Fifty and nine years of age
{Gender} I'd think this would be obvious. Please, let us move
on.
{Status} Married.
{Birthplace} He was born in the Haunted Woods, but now lives in the
Altador area. Yes, he does live in the exact Neopia of Neopets.
{Personality} Vaugner is a gentleman. Coming from a wealthy family,
he has the attitude that what is not important does not need to be
expressed. This includes most emotions and results in a commonly monotone
voice. Very boring to spend time with.
Deeper down, he's seems a lot like an emo that never grew up. Except that
his life-changing event was only recently.

He can transport things and people into Halcyon, but because he is only human (or neopet), people may escape through various holes in the dimensional fabric. Vaugner must constantly travel to the physical location of these holes within Neopia in order to seal them off.
Vaugner is aware of everything that happens in Halcyon, but only if he concentrates extremely hard. Because he can't be paying attention all the time, and he does sleep, most things occur without him noticing.
As well as creating objects(such as buildings, trees, etc.) Vaugner can create living, breathing people. However, these creations don't usually have a soul and cannot make decisions. He must control these directly, but for simple tasks he can control a large number at a time (such as an army in battle--like setting things on automatic--they don't /always/ do things as well though). He has a greater degree of control when limited to one puppet, at which point he can almost fully step into Halcyon without difficulty.
{Things will get a little wordy from here on, as these are snippets of writing, not a summary}
The Haunted Woods: Fred had spent the entirety of his life living on the outskirts, but had never ventured into the core. Even before he could see the buildings and creatures that the area was known for far and wide, he could feel the eerie atmosphere. Not frightening, only intriguing. It didn't take long before he found his destination--the deserted fairgrounds. Barely deserted as suggested by its name, the fairgrounds were filled with the life of it's showspeople inhabitants.
He looked around. There were a few visitors, tourists from all Neopia, playing games at various booths or trying their luck. Not quite sure what else to do, he set up shop right at the side of the path, a mildly empty space. Advertising was too much trouble, and paying for a stage wasn't worth it until he really needed it. Down goes his hat in a neopoint-begging manner, as well as two bright lights he'd brought from home. After all, it was dark except for the surrounding booths.
Step right up, step right up." Fred juggled two clubs in one hand as he carefully unpacked equipment with the other. "I'm Frederich the Magnificent" Three more clubs join the cascade as he shifts to both hands. Catching all five, he ends with a bow and grins. "Let the show begin."
More entertaining. As Vaugner lost his audiences, he noticed her. Always there, for every show despite the other performers. She'd always watched, he realized, even his early shows. Eventually she was the sole attendee of his performances; they started to chat--it wasn't long before he was barely doing any shows and spent most of his time with her.
But Fred needed to sleep. And to sleep with a roof over your head costs money. He was running low on the neopoints he'd brought and earned.
He took her with him when he left. He could look back sadly at his dream that never quite took off as he returned home, a content failure. Fred smiled at the fact. His parents would like that--they'd been right all along.
They were always bickering. You'd see them in the streets and in the stores, you could always tell. It wasn't a color code, but everyone seemed to know who was on their side. Vaugner could ignore it for the most part. After all, they didn't bother him and his family too much.
It wasn't until there was a brawl on the streets. Nobody knew how it started. She was caught barely passing by. It put her in a coma, but nobody noticed. Vaugner was notified as she was taken to the hospital, powerless to help her. They didn't know if she would ever wake up.
He couldn't talk to her. Couldn't see those eyes. His son stood silently pained. Quiet.
Someone had to take the blame.
Why did they always fight?
