Grundioy's Solace Hello, I'm... Grundioy. Yes, my name isn't extremely flattering but it's better than some. And I've learnt names aren't that important in this life... Sorry if I'm acting strangely. I'm just not used to company, besides my Weewoo. That's the corner of my room where I do most of my writing. My whole room has sort of a Zen theme, I find it relaxes me. Not that my life is excessively strenuous. Joey, my owner, provides us with many luxuries-- I'm rambling. Sorry. Sorry. I have heard that I'm very shy and reserved, so forgive me I'm trying my best. You would think that winning Pet Spotlight would make me fond of the spotlight, but I suppose not. I like reading and being artistic. My favourite books are the ones from Kreludor, the ones that tell about my original race, the Grundos. You see, I was born as a yellow Grundo. I was stupidly allowed to pick my own name, upon adoption by Joey. Grundioy is a great name for a Grundo, but now as I am a spotted Aisha, I'd much rather have a prettier name. This is a picture of me. There's a little Weewoo called Tewhit that follows me everywhere (I mostly venture to the Deep Catacombs to work on my stories and sketches over a cup of tea, or on rare occasions, to a Jazzmosis concert in Tyrannia.) I found her on Krawk Island, and I don't know if I can really say that I *own* her, but I think we enjoy each other's company. She was a replacement for Avark, my spotted Snowbunny that met her untimely demise at the jaws of the Turmaculus. I hope that Tewhit doesn't have the same fate as my previous two petpets. History My earliest of days were very traumatic. I was born on Kreluder, as a yellow Grundo. I used to spend the nights curled up under the sky with my siblings, watching the stars. But one day we saw a spaceship. It was Dr. Sloth, and he'd come to enslave our race. Well Joey found me in the Space Adoption Agency. She only had Flowal and Rofal then, and had only been using Neopets for two or three days. They found me, sitting quietly and calmly in an unfriendly cell. They admit I did look a lot more intelligent than the other Grundos but I don't know how much truth that statement holds. Joey went and spoke to me and I agreed that I would enjoy going to her home very much but I needed a name first. She enquired why I wasn't speaking like the other Grundos (yeht klat ekil siht), and I said I had taught myself her language. Then I said (rather stupidly) that I quite liked the name Grundioy. So I was adopted under that name (which in my traditional language is 'Yoid nurg'... whatever that means). Maybe my past explains why I have such an intense dislike for Dr Sloth, moreso than the average Neopian. Family This is Flowal2000, my older sister. Flowal is a lot more outgoing than I, and sometimes I may get a little jealous when her friends come over, but she never says anything. Flowal will try to give me a makeover every now and again, but usually admits defeat before too much damage is done. She is the kindest, most generous pet I know, although she is a bit of an airhead at times. Then there's... Rofal2000, my older brother. Older by age not by actions. We don't get along as smoothly as we should, Rofal is a big fan of the weevils in the coffee prank. But we're a very close family and we still love each other. This is my baby sister, Annalisaca. Joey says I am the best influence on Anna in the whole house. I taught Anna how to read and she looks up to her big sister a lot. I am most often the one to read Anna a bedtime story and it's not because every one else is too lazy, it's because I enjoy it.
