I'm very sorry, but the domain name I had is no longer up, so my entire FTP is lost to me. Meaning that... the pictures won't work. It's going to take a little time to put everything back together. So very sorry for the trouble, but if you have questions, feel free to write me! :)

After winning several World Challenge competitions, I feel confident enough to write my first game guide for the game I enjoy. Welcome, and I hope I can help you out. First things first. You are going to find it very difficult to win any World Challenges playing the game by regular standards. It doesn't matter which mode you chose, the points are decided by the difficulty that you play under. And Hard mode just doesn't normally bring in 600 point plays very regularly.
Many of you may already know, but if you click on any other difficulty level, then type in superextrahypergravitymode on the main screen, you open a new mode that comes with it's own difficulty!

The points system is as follows for all modes:

NeggEasyMediumHardGravity
35818
9152454
12203272
15254090
305080180
60100160360
95165264594
150250400900

You can see now the advantages of Gravity Mode?

Strategy:

Believe it or not, you may have to use your brain a little to get some of the neggs that pop up. The way I approach it is what I call orbit theory. It is easiest to run in counter clockwise circles. You can hold the up key and tap the left key as appropriate to "orbit" the gravity well.

As red neggs pop up, just alter your orbit to run around them. Sometimes you will have to duck and dodge as the board gets more and more crowded, but with light taps, you can usually navigate the board with ease. Sometimes you get a negg in a wierd position, all you have to do is turn directly away from the gravity well and let yourself slide down to it, or tap up to grab it. It's not always possible to reach a negg. It's sad, but true. But with skill and luck, the payoffs can be huge.

Let's take a look:

Bad luck. The pressure's on. But you can make it if you try. Don't let the pressure get to you...

Hard. But not impossible.

Danger Zone

Keep moving, stay out of the area I've marked in red, and most of the time, you'll be fine. If a negg pops up in that red area, just slide down while facing away from the gravity well. Tap the up key to slide down little by little until you just barely grab the negg. And if one pops up in the center of the gravity well... sorry. That's bad luck.
Just for fun, try running past it and watch how much faster the Meerca moves :)

Conclusion

I can normally get scores of between 600 and 1000. My high score at date of publication is very nearly 1300. At 1200, you can get the avvy. A friend of mine is at 1800 and has a Meerca Chase Champion gold trophy! With practice, you could win enough World Challenge competitions to get a WC Map, which awards a random cool item, like a paintbrush or a petpet paintbrush... or a codestone. In any event, most of the Neopia Central pieces are worth 18,000 NP. Practice, build confidence, and win NP.

See you on the WC, typically 11 PM to 3 PM NST. When you win, tell them outbackwaiter sent you :)

I would just like to share this with everyone-
