Make your own Kookith Plushie!

Step #1
You are going to need:

1.) Scissors: These will come in handy while cutting fabric and thread.
2.) Fabric: I used felt, but other fabrics are viable as well.
If you are planning on using a sewing machine, I'd advise not using felt,
because the fabric is too thin. Also, feel free to mix up the colors a bit.
I just used what I thought looked the most like a pink and blue kookith. :P
3.) Needle: This is required to sew the kookith together.
You could also use glue to sew on the details, but make sure to wait
for it to dry before sewing the back to the front.
4.) Stuffing: Common stuffed animal stuffing is preferred,
but cotton balls would also work well.
5.) Thread: To keep your kookith together. :]
6.) Push-pins: Used for holding together the details while sewing.

Step #2

While looking at a picture of a kookith, cut out the pieces
you will need in order to create him!
There are examples of a blue and a pink kookith here.
Note: You will need: 2 big squares for the body
and 4 ear shaped pieces for the ears.
**These should both be the same color.
For accents you will need: 4 triangles for the cheeks,
1 piece for the hair, and 2 somewhat smaller ear
shape for accents on the ears.
**These should all be the same color.

For eyes and mouth you will need:
2 black oval shapes for eyes, 2 white thin rectangles
for pupils, and a thin black rectangle for the mouth.

How much fabric you will need will depend on how
big you want your kookith to be!
Not all kookiths will look alike, this tutorial is just to help you create your own. :]

Step #3

Arrange the pieces onto the body of your kookith,
to make sure everything fits correctly.
If anything looks incorrect, now is the time to fix it!

Step #4

Use your push-pins to keep the details in place in preparation for sewing.

Step #5

Sew on details to the body and ears.
Sew the whites of the eyes onto the eyes FIRST,
before you sew the eyes onto the kookith.
It makes it much easier for the eyes to be sewn on!

Step #6

Sew the ears onto the front body and the back body.
Before you sew, make sure they are lined up correctly,
so when you begin to sew they will fit together PERFECTLY!

Step #7

Pin the two sides together in preparation for sewing. ^_^

Step #8

Start sewing on the left-hand corner of your kookith.
Sew all the way around until you get to the right-hand corner.
Before sewing it entirely up, stuff the ears and body to your preference.

Step #9

Sew up the bottom and you are all done! Time to have fun with your new kookith!
