Hello and welcome! I'm Mist and this is my application for the lovely Paiu. The aim of this application is to show you why I would be the best owner for Pai. I must warn you though, this is one of the first applications I have made and I'm still not too sure about it. Anyways, read on!
...About me...
So... this is the section where you get to know what I'm like in real life. Well, first of all, my real name is Jenny, although my friends sometimes call me JenJen. Though I introduced myself as Mist, that's just my all-round nickname, and the name I use on Neo. I am 11 -is ashamed at being so young- and I live in England. I am moving to secondary school in September. Luckily, the pressure of studying for my S.A.Ts tests is over and we're pretty relxed for the while. I'm somewhat of a bad loser, although I try not to be ^^ To be honest though, I'm a bit of a brainbox. I'm in tops for Maths and English, and one of the two best artists in the class(someday, I'll prove myself better). I adore writing as well as drawing and am currently working on a story called 'Deja-vu'. To wrap it all up, I made a short Bio of myself (what a waste of time, writing that paragraph xD Oh well.):

I spend at least 60% of my life online_ Most of the time it's on Neo, but I have been known to go on RPGs. I've been on Neopets for almost 2 years, my first account being 0bliviaesowner. I remember creating my first pet, 0bliviae, thus turning the Lupe into my favorite Neopet, but with the Draik, which I remember wondering why I couldn't get, second in line. I spent ages trying to get one, in the end giving up after about 5 months. I thought it was about time I created a new set of accounts when I got an MSN adress. I declared my main account Grumps, and this was the second one I created. I found an account I had forgotten about, Jennijenni123, and decided that to be my next account. Following that were JenniMist and Bluecoyotegirl. My current obsession on Neo is making petpages. When I'm not doing that, I roleplay on the bosrds. My guild is an artist and roleplay guild, designed to make you better at both. I am quite active on the guild boards, so many people know me.

Many people want a Draik. People prize them, for many reasons. Some people do for their rarity. Others just because they like Draiks. But I have different reasons for wanting Pai.
What really attracted me is Pai's name. Paiu. It reminds me of some Chinese spice. It's a very exotic name, that's for sure. I've also always had a soft spot for Darigan Draiks, merely because I like Darigan pets, and I think it suits Draiks very well. I fear, however, that Pai is one of the last UFA Darigan Draiks to not have been converted. But the pleasure of a thought-out name, combined with the coolness of a Darigan Draik makes Pai just too awesome to pass up.
As I've said, I've always loved dragons. The other draconic pets just don't have the dragonish qualities that a Draik does. There are so many possoblilities with a Draik, from making the design, to roleplaying them, and I'm really excited about roleplaying Pai. The reasons are her personality and past, as you'll read in her story below.
I have heard tell of a forum named the Draik Clan, and have made it a goal to own a Draik and roleplay it there. Pai, of course, will not be solely for that purpose, but I look forward to introducing her, and seeing how her past clashes with others. It is also interesting to watch, and feel, as the character jumps into you. In my view, it's like leaving your body and getting into anothers. Because of this, when I'm roleplaying, I feel what my charcter feels, and truly beleive I am them.
...Plans for Pai...
Well, my plans for Pai do not take a strict order, but most probably will follow the one I list here (including the start xD)
What will happen if I get chosen to be the new owner of Pai? First off, I'll probably go up and hug my brothers(trust me, it takes a lot to make me do that) and immediately message my friends to tell them the good news. Then I'd be a bit breathless for a while, before returning to normal.
When I'm done, I'd start preparing her petpage. Currently, it is acting as Part 2 of my application. I will find some way to use this image though. Once I finnish that(round about) I'd set up the petpet page that all my pets have. When that's done I will start to roleplay. When I get roleplaying, as I said above, I can go on for hours. I'll only stop when others do.
With any art I have spare, I'd put up on her petpage. I never let art go to waste, I've even got a whole folder full of Neopets art. I draw nearly all the time, whether it's just doodling or a full-scale drawing. I have a little area next to my computer where I find it easiest to draw ^^
I've already talked the Draik Clan and roleplayng, so I'll move on to more art. I do not enter the Beauty Contest much, but I garuntee Pai will be in at least one of my Art Gallery entries. And I haven't even mentioned the Petpage spotlight. Yes, hopefully Pai's lookup will soon be decorated with trophies.
...Pai's look...
To be completely truthful, it took me a while to think about, and decide on, Pai's design. I thought about the different wings she could have, scales or feathers, number of legs, style of tail and all that. When I finally found the right look and scanned it in, the colours I chose didn't go well. After another few days, I found the perfect design. So here it is!
...Pai's Personality...
Pai's personality can be quite complicated, as the cursed necklace can change her mood without warning.
In three words, Pai would be described as Random, uncontrolled and untrusting. There is no way she would trust you after what happened to her, even if you'd known her for years. The only friends she has are the ones she had before the cursed charm was bestowed upon her. The charm changed her life forever.
Her untrusting of people means her aquaintances often abandon her. She has strived on her own for so long now that she has learnt to accept it. If she suddenly turns...well, evil, it's because of one of three things. Firstly, if you have in any way hurt her, mentally or physically. Secondly, you could have been annoying her, by staying around too long or something along those lines. Or you have angered or hurt the creator of the charm in one way or another, as they have control over the wearer of the charm. Any of these are best avoided.
Her nature has somehow been bored into her; she could be completely docile one moment, and threatening to kill you the next. The way it has been was obviously painful, and now she has a strange fear of sand. She will try her best not to touch it, even if that means hurting others..
Pai is a drifter, whether it be on land or in the sky. There is no place she will stay in for too long, as she is forever trying to get the cursed charm off, and will go anywhere to do so. She will accept help from almost anyone, but hardly ever offers it. Her stubbornness and selfishness is another thing that has earned her the loneliness she has, even though it is not her fault.
Pai can be extremely kind when she wants to be, although she hardly ever shows it. Deep down inside, she wants the best for everyone, but before she can help with that, she must free herself from the curse. Only her trusted few have earned a right to her generosity, and if it is ever to show permanently, she will need all the help she can get.
...Petpet...
Pai's petpet is a strange creature, for it has no arms or legs, just fins. Feanor's cousins are not like this, as they have limbs. He does his best to help Pai, but with his disabilities it is very hard for him. Did I mention he was mute? Well he is. Morph cannot talk, so he silently offers help with a shift of his shape. Yes, he can change shape. He is often found hovering just above her maned head..
...Roleplay...
I told you how much I like to roleplay, so I find it is time for an example. It is only a beginning, but hopefully you'll enjoy it.
As the moon looked down upon the velvet black land, a lone figure could be seen walking across it, a bright light from the creature's neck illuminating her face. A troubled look was bestowed upon her features, as she boke into a run, then took off, her feathery tail swishing behind her. This was her realm. Where she was supposed to be. Yet she couldn't be here for long. She had buisness elsewhere. Her eyes closed as she swept back down to the land and walked on.
As the sun shone through the hills, Paiu awoke with a start. This was not going to be a good day. She slowly got to her feet, shaking her tail to rid it of water. She called in a strange tounge and a pink blob appeared out of nowhere. 'Morph.' she said sharply. 'Are you ready for today? We have to go a long way, to the peak of Techo Mountain. I hope you can withstand the heat.' The blob nodded, and indicated to her head. 'Oh, right. Sorry.' The Draik shook her mane, parting it in one place. Happily, he leapt up, transforming into a feather and tickling her. 'Just don't do that while I'm flying.' She laughed.
She flapped her wings once, twice, and she was rising into the early morning sky. Her wings...they were the wings of a bird, the main feathers blue, but the others a royal purple. The ashy blue formed the colours of her main body, while the purple could be seen on her large tail and the skin on her ears. Her scarlet hair swished underneath her, covering one of her eyes. One clump of hair was tied with string to make a braid, the end of it sticking out of the string cocoon. Around her neck, a charm hung loosely, pure gold arrows on either side of a maroon gemstone. This charm was the cause of all her troubles. It controlled her. It had left its mark too. On her right hind leg, a mark mirroring the charm decorated her pallid blue scales. Her lips curled back into a snarl. The creator is angry again she thought. I must do what I can to shake this one off.
She landed, not knowing what to do next. The chill of Terror Mountain creeped under her scales and into her skin. How had she come here? She hadn't meant to, she knew that much. She lifted her head and looked, as the blob transformed into a scarf, and wrapped himself around her neck. The creator must have wanted her to come here. There must have been a reason. In her minds eye, she pictured the shadowy figure in one of the many frozen caves. Snapping her wings open, she took off, but came round in a circle and landed in exactly the same spot. Taking a deep breath, she walked into the neared Ice cave. It was her only choice.

Account History: I have never had an account frozen, but a warning has been sent to my account grumps, because I created a board advertising my trades and someone started begging and insulting. But I never intend to have an account frozen.
Messenger: I have MSN messenger, and thats the only one I have, unless you count Skype. I'd prefer not to put my screen name up, because I don't want to be randomly messaged, if that's ok with you.
Transfer Experience: I have a bit of experience with Neomail transfers, as most of the pets on Jennijenni123 were Neomail transfers. To be perfectly honest, I've never done a Messenger transfer before, but whatever suits you best.

Elvidoni Don is my to-be-Electric Wocky. She's quite a tomboy, completely different to her sister, Grace. She was born on Christmas Eve, 2 minutes earlier than Grace, but doesn't take pride in it.
Gracethyra Grace, my Red Wocky. She also has a dream, to be Christmas, and is about as girly as you could possibly get. The reason she wants to be Christmas is she was born on Christmas Day. So in case you haven't worked it out, Don was born at 11:59 pm on the 24th of December, and Grace was born at 00:01 am on the 25th of December.

I thought about this a lot. I was going to use the same theme of my other pets, but I just couldn't choose which colours to use. But then I found the colour I'm using. It went perfectly!
